Deeper Perception Made Practical

More Ghosts in The Age of Awakening? Part Two.

Ghosts?

Ghosts in the Age of Awakening.

Ghosts? Two wacky stories about ghosts in The Age of Awakening. With an upbeat message since you can learn effective skills for protecting yourself.

Recently we completed a short but practical survey about ghosts, a.k.a. Stuck spirits, astral entities, astral attachments.

The recommendation I gave you was to choose ways to do no more than 20 minutes of Technique Time, tops, for each day. By doing that, you reduce the risk of slipping into either Spiritual Addiction or Spiritual Shutdown. Today I will explain more about how this lifestyle choice can helps to protect you from ghosts.

Why Could Ghosts Be a Problem?

In their unintentional astral ickiness, ghosts ARE a problem on earth. They have always been a real-life problem, not just in Shakespeare plays.

My perspective comes as a healer who specializes in Rosetree Energy Spirituality, a system with multiple and synergistic skill sets for emotional and spiritual healing. Based on that experience, I can assure you that the ideas that follow are no mere theories.

Everything I’m about to share with you comes from working with clients, helping with aura healing, teaching various skill sets internationally, and using Stage Three Energetic Literacy to check on the results.

Ghost-Related Problems

These problems arise directly in proportion to how many ghosts/stuck spirits/astral entities are stuck to your aura:

Emotionally, negative emotions are intensified, beyond your control and not related to your personal STUFF.

Emotionally destabilizing experiences happen. It’s automatic, like how your voice changes if you are singing in an tunnel. Only these echoes do not sound like music. They can sound (and feel) like worry, sorrow, loneliness, anger, and depression.

Physically and energetically, it is draining to have ghosts stuck onto your aura. It’s not that ghosts direct malice towards you. Each one automatically exerts a small draining influence. Nothing personal.

However small, these draining influences impact your auric field, which does not have infinite energy to support your human life. Even if you do work out at the gym. 😉

The drain from stuck spirits can increase exponentially once they number in the thousands. What, ghosts stuck by the thousands in one person’s aura? Sure, that is way more common now than before The Shift.

Beware The Flypaper Effect, whereby the more stuck spirits you have, the more you are likely to get. (Unless you either get healing or develop skills for ghost removal.)

Socially, ghosts add a certain astral stench, a Yechhh Factor.

With many stuck spirits attached to your aura, you just don’t seem your best to others. Auric modeling reveals the unsightly mess.

Blog-Buddies, as you may know, everyone reads everybody else’s auric modeling… subconsciously. No hiding this one!

Thus, problems with ghosts lead to very human suffering, detracting from a person’s quality of life.

Why the Confusion?

You might wonder, why is there so much confusion about having ghosts or stuck spirits?

Of course, people seldom know they are having this problem. Unless you have specific training in skills for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection, how would you know?

Most psychics, channelers, and mediums are dripping with ghosts. And that is their line of work!

Why are these practitioners especially at risk? Because they had different training, such as psychic development, or how to channel spirits, or how to work as a medium and not frighten the clients.

Can you appreciate that skills like these do not necessarily include skill sets for ghost-related healing skills? Such as how to discern stuck spirits, or working with Divine help to assist  ghosts to permanently locate elsewhere, at an appropriate heaven.

Similar problems afflict many energy healers, body workers, Reiki practitioners, Eden Energy Medicine practitioners, E.F.T. specialists, hypnotists. There are so many really talented people in these fields, folks with really superb skills. Only specific training to discern and remove ghosts may never have been included.

Do all these energy-related professions usually include something designed to add protection?

Sure, skills are taught for protecting yourself are built into the skill set. When I learned Reiki Levels 1 and 2 and 3A, I was informed that Reiki by its very nature would protect me. Energy would come from The Other Side, not from me. Definitely a protection there, but not necessarily relevant to addressing the ghosts hitchhiking from a client over to their healer.

Learning dedicated healing skills specific to ghost removal? Let’s be sensible. This is like learning empath skills. Unless a dedicated, effective skill set is taught by an expert at that sort of skill, even the most talented practitioner winds up with “Nice try.”

Skills of Spiritual Cleansing and Protection are taught separately. Half an hour out of a workshop on healing or channeling, devoted to protecting yourself? Meaning no disrespect, common sense tells you that a short interlude on protecting yourself is not the same thing as learning an effective, dedicated skill set for that particular form of self-protection.

This teacher and writer helps with how to heal stuck spirits, how to remove psychic coercion, and other forms of STUFF removal. Rosetree Energy Spirituality does not mean that I teach channeling or mediumship or massage therapy. Who has time to learn or teach everything?

Living now, it is not humanly possible to be a “Renaissance man.” There is way too much to learn now, compared to the Renaissance. In even one field, there is such a burgeoning of knowledge. How realistic is it for any of us living now to aim for (or claim)  deep expertise in a wide variety of unrelated technical subjects?

Story #1, Healing Ghosts at the College of Psychic Studies

Before I share the following story, let’s be clear. I have huge admiration for the College of Psychic Studies, faculty and staff both.

Twice I have taught at the College of Psychic Studies in England, located in a glorious building in London. The school is a real spiritual powerhouse, where the cream of the crop come mostly to teach psychic development. I taught related skills, of course, not being a psychic. Such as instruction in Aura Reading Through All Your Senses(R).

Lovely people came for the many workshops, lectures, and sessions that I presented. I got to meet some of the faculty, too, instructors and readers and healers with rigorous training and immense talent.

These talented experts did things I cannot do at all, carrying on the great spiritualist traditions of England with rigorous skill sets, taught with dedication. It was an honor — also an honour! — to teach there.

However, guess what? The place was jammed and crammed with ghosts. Many of them were not there to help the metaphysical professionals, either.

While at the College, I would routinely sort things out, speaking to ghosts and inviting those who wished to take advantage of the healing opportunity I extended. I volunteered to help all the ghosts in the building who wished to receive a healing and be moved off planet.

As part of this amicable sorting out, astral entities who worked actively with the psychics and mediums and channelers were always directed into different rooms from the one where I would facilitate the Stuck Spirits Healing. Plenty of helpful spirits lived at the College, too.

The surprising part to me was how many other ghosts were in residence, not there for helping the staff and students but assembled because they were hoping to find some humans who could help them get off of earth, already.

During my weeks spent working at The College, with these informal and non-coercive invitations to healing, I facilitated the relocation of many thousands of stuck spirits. They were thrilled to leave.

Although I didn’t stop to learn anyone’s story — not required for this particular ghost healing skill set — I suspect that many of these ghosts had come to the College expressly because they were longing for such an opportunity. These astral entities wanted to stop being ghosts and resume a quicker evolutionary process than happens, compared to a discarnate, stuck spirit, hanging around earth without knowing how to get off the place.

Why are there so many extra ghosts now, after The Shift?

To understand this, let’s begin with some basics. What causes a perfectly normal human being to become a ghost?

You may know about reasons that have been factors since long before The Shift: Unfinished business, sudden death, being killed before your time. (Yet one more reason, to me, to abolish capital punishment. I’m waiting for the bumper sticker that reads “Capital punishment creates angry ghosts.”)

Other factors have been greatly exaggerated after The Shift:

  1. Being drunk at the time of death. Or being an alcoholic.
  2. Being stoned on recreational drugs at the time of death. Or being a pothead or drug addict.
  3. Having a Spiritual Addiction at the time of death.
  4. Living in Spiritual Shutdown at the time of death.

Can you appreciate that any of these conditions would make it deeply confusing to the person whose body just died? If you don’t identify with your human body — the first three of four examples listed here — it’s very difficult to really appreciate that a death has taken place. Your own death.

As for that fourth category — those who die in a state of Spiritual Shutdown — regardless of whether the person happens to be a fundamentalist who has been promised wonderful rewards and eternal superiority after death — it can be very difficult to become aware of spiritual light, helpful angels, deceased friends there to help with transition to the Other Side.

So there are many, many ghosts on earth now. However, that doesn’t necessarily mean they will stick to YOUR aura.

Who attracts ghosts? What contributes to having ghosts stick to you rather than somebody else?

Here is a short list of folks who tend to attract stuck spirits:

  • New Agers and spiritualists fascinated by The Romance of the Astral — that dominant interest in New Age, or paranormal circles, angel fanciers, true believers in Law of Attraction
  • Working professionally, or as an amateur, in energy work — of any kind — where solid skills for ghost removal have not been taught as part of the training.
  • Folks who read auras and/or do unskilled empath merges — where their training has not included skills for protecting yourself that work effectively.
  • Meditators, yoga teachers, and others who identify strongly with seeking higher vibrations rather than living as humans.

So perhaps you see now why I am urging you to restrict Daily Technique Time to 20 minutes.

This is a form of balance you can give yourself. You will have many benefits for your life, including moving forward faster on your path to Enlightenment.

Ghost Healing Story #2: Advanced Transcendental Meditation, at the Flying Hall

Here’s another ghost healing story I haven’t thought about for ages. It illustrates how religion and meditation can cause plenty of unwitting involvement with stuck spirits. Because skill sets for meditation, prayer, etc. do not necessarily include skill sets for protection from astral debris.

As many of you Blog-Buddies know, Transcendental Meditation used to be, pretty much, my life. From 1969 through 1985 I was part of that group. For most of that time my life centered around TM Founder Maharishi Mahesh Yogi, doing whatever he asked and feeling honored to have him for my guru. (In 1986 I officially resigned from teaching and in 1991 I pretty much stopped meditating, except for the occasional once or twice a year at most.)

Within the TM organization, I attained the status of “Governor of the Age of Enlightenment,” which sounds pretty grand, doesn’t it? I was doing “Yogic flying,” practicing the TM-Sidhi program. What happened the last time I went to a “Flying hall”? I went to “Do program” and help to “Bring Peace on Earth” and “Lower the crime rate.”

Flying in a group was usually delightful, if time consuming. I hadn’t been flying regularly for years. I think this last time of group flying happened around 1989, though I am not sure. By then I had definitely learned about ghosts and how to perceive them and facilitate healing for them.

This was the first time I had gone to a flying hall since studying with T.I.C., with teachers who taught me so much about healing astral debris.

Well, I was just amazed at the number of astral entities in that flying hall. After completing that evening’s program and leaving, I facilitated an Astral Entity Healing, as I had learned it from T.I.C. It was amazing to me, how much better I felt compared to usual, leaving Group Program.

I wasn’t spaced out. I didn’t replay familiar feelings of being inadequate as a Governor of the Age of Enlightenment.

And why not? Astral debris of all kinds does not come properly labeled here at Earth School. Problems from ghosts attached to your aura do not arrive with fanfare from Archangel Gabriel.

And, as I was so vividly reminded, skills that aren’t about meditation do not come, miraculously, just because one’s meditation guru is so darned special.

Consider, Blog-Buddies:

Many of the uncomfortable feelings in your  typical day might result directly from STUFF in the form of stuck spirits.

Isn’t it great to know that you can learn skills to identify and heal that kind of STUFF, the add the PUT IN to help you keep evolving rapidly!

You Can Learn Effective Skills

Prevention helps enormously, when it comes to ghosts.

Today’s article, plus Part One in this little series, have explained how and why you can use Technique Time to position your consciousness appropriately, making your aura far less enticing to stuck spirits.

Even so, with today’s wild astral partying on planet Earth, having ghosts stuck to your aura is very likely. I encourage you to learn the skill set for doing a Stuck Spirits Healing. Can I teach you that, or give you the benefit of that? Sure:

  • My annual workshop to teach this skill set (and more useful skill sets as well) will be held in Sterling, Virginia, October 12-13, 2013. You are cordially invited to that Spiritual Cleansing and Protection Workshop. For locals, convenient to metro Washington, D.C. Out-of-towners? It’s convenient to the biggest airport here, and you can stay at the same hotel where the workshop will be held… incidentally, at an incredibly reasonable rate for accommodations in a major U.S. city.
  • Learn the Stuck Spirits Healing in a couple of hours, conveniently, using a simple paperback or ebook that teaches you how to Use Your Power of Command for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection
  • Receive the benefit of this type of aura healing, complete with an effective recording you can use for the rest of your life, via one 55-minute session of aura healing. Such sessions are equally effective in person, by phone, or over Skype video.
  • Similarly, by phone or video or in person, you can do one Mentoring Session at a time, whether in 55-minute chunks or as a Day of Mentoring — five hours at a discounted rate to encourage you to do depth learning. Over Skype video or phone, this is usually scheduled as two chunks of educational bliss, each 2 1/2 hours long.

As a fine alternative to learning this skill set as I teach it, I highly recommend the organization called T.I.C. for learning discernment about ghosts and how to heal them, as well as other skill sets of healing that I have adapted — with their blessing — for Use Your Power of Command for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection. Plus T.I.C. teaches many other skill sets with a more religious flavor.

Other skill sets work, too. My buddy JOE, the airplane healer described in Part One of this series, is a fabulously talented energy psychology practitioner. Along the way, he learned a skill set for ghost healing that helps him just fine.

There is not just one skill set that works for ghost relocation. Choose the healer, the teacher, who is right for you, Blog-Buddies.

Meanwhile, in your everyday lifestyle, remember 20 Daily Minutes of Technique Time, Tops.

An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure. Before The Shift into this Age of Awakening. And ever since, too.

A fascinating post Rose. I’ve seen the flypaper effect in action, but just called it like attracts like.

Not to be a grouch but there are still polymaths around (Renaissance Man), but yes, not experts in everything, just a bunch of diverse things. We each have specific skill sets. Best to become experts at those and not try to do things we don’t have skills at. Hire others for that. A standard business recommendation. 😉

And yeah, I’ve noticed that about Spiritualist places. The ghosts actually compete to be heard so the mediums job is to distinguish them. Usually the most assertive one is “read”.

I can add another one to your list – in a coma at death or otherwise not with it. A friends mother was such and just continued drifting after death. Managed to wake her some so she’d be light-bound.

For your list though, one could say “almost everyone”. (laughs)

And yeah, I’ve noticed they’re attracted to the spiritually aware, looking for the nice energy,a friendly place and perhaps acknowledgement.

Agreed – so many people have messed up ideas about death, the challenge becomes accepting what shows up and following the process. If they balk long enough, they get stuck.

Pretty funny about the flying hall. Especially with all the pretensions about them. I’ve tended to avoid the whole ghost thing for the most part because i didn’t have good skills. But I have noticed the flying centres are not necessarily houses of light, attracting the big ones.

And to think some people think they’re ever alone. 😉

Thanks, Rose. Ever since I learned that ghosts can get stuck in your aura, I’ve wondered how it effects your life. Thanks for the explanation.

I was at one of the College of Psychic Studies workshops, and I remember the sheer number of stuck spirits then (Summer 2012)!

Thank you for your comments about the Renaissance ideal. That is something that since I was 8 I had a fascination with. I still have random textbooks (Chemistry, maths, biology, statistics, Spanish, Irish, Italian, French, philosophy, English literature, art theory) and I usually look at them never! I do want to be able to understand them in more depth, but you are right, who has the time these days. I don’t think I’d ever be satiated with the amount of depth I’d get to in any case! I think it’s time to narrow it down to what I am actually studying and working on. And maybe one language too!

    Sandra says:

Yes, the day of mentoring offered by Rose is, indeed, “educational bliss!”

Having taken Rose’s workshops in the past, I can definitely recommend them for many reasons: you learn faster than with self-study, you have the companionship with the other like-minded students, and these other students ask questions you didn’t even know you had.

But the Personal Day of Mentoring offered by Rose is my favorite way of learning these skills. The session is tailored to my needs, and I get all of Rose’s attention 🙂

Rose: So looking forward to my personal mentoring this week for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection!

  5. 5

RENEE, AMY, SANDRA, thank you all so much for these comments. Want to hear something funny? (You and the rest of you Blog-Buddies!)

This morning, when I went outdoors for my three morning minutes of Daily Technique Time, what a cute surprise.

All over the lawn of this little suburban house were throngs, and I mean throngs, of stuck spirits.

Evidently word went out that I can heal stuck spirits. Who knew that astral entities can read? LOL

  6. 6

So I stopped and facilitated a massive astral healing. Then I offered to do one for the whole block, after I do a chunk of morning writing. (Always my delight, to do at my top productivity time every morning.)

Then I have some afternoon sessions to do.

The call has gone out, though I also made it clear in my announcement that I am NOT taking on daily astral healings. This is to be a one-time healing opportunity, at 4:45 p.m. (Before my evening sessions.)

This Stuck Spirits Healing will happen within one square mile of my home, with entities welcome to be on the street but not to enter into my home or property.

Gives new meaning to the term “Block Party,” doesn’t it?

  7. 7

Incidentally, I will be discussing safe and balanced volunteer opportunities at the Spiritual Cleansing and Protection Workshop the weekend after next.

Plus, of course, SANDRA and others who do personal mentoring with me by phone or Skype video, we cam discuss volunteering during Days of Mentoring, too.

When I first learned how to effectively heal and relocate astral entities, I used to do loads of volunteer work.

    Now? Not so much.

  8. 8
    Linda Stone says:

    Rose,
I am really starting to appreciate the freedom in choosing when and where I will do volunteer work.

Especially since The Shift,” opportunities to do energetic volunteer work seem to have risen 20-fold. Which means 20 times more invitations for giving myself away …. to the level of sacrifice.

With your help, and sticking with twenty minutes a day of Technique Time, I now have office MINUTES for volunteer healings in the astral.

I do my part, and then I go work in my garden or take photographs or play tennis.

I am not “On-Call” 24/7 to fix or save the universe. LOL!

Your work and teaching has given me such freedom and, oh my goodness, permission to “Be Here Now” As a human….in earth school, being ME! Whoo Hoo!

    Elaine says:

Wow Rose, so fascinating! Throngs. I do this healing on my property and my apartment rental on a regular basis. Never thought of doing it for the block, which for me living in the mountains with no formal blocks, how big a spot would that be? The entire town? But seriously, more and more fascinating reading at this blog!

  10. 10

ELAINE, 1 mile in every direction would be very generous to your neighborhood indeed.

LINDA, thank you so much for sharing your way of being a fantastic healer who also stays in balanced with clearly defined 10 Daily Minutes of Technique Time, Tops.

    Rachel says:

    Hi Rose,

What a great article. And I love the skill set you teach in your book for healing stuck spirits. I used it when I went this summer to a certain spiritual community, just as you recommended!

I am also in awe of how you can walk into your garden and instantly notice how many ghosts are there… how do you do that??

  12. 12

Thanks, RACHEL. I am so glad you are using your skill set from “Use Your Power of Command for Spiritual Cleansing and Protection.”

There are levels of skill for using this complete skill set. You can always request phone mentoring to advance your skills. Meanwhile, it is simple use of skills to be able to tall if there are stuck spirits hanging out on the lawn or anywhere else I might go.

No awe needed. And I assure you, I find no value in toting up how many beings when this skill set allows one to heal them all at one go. Haven’t counted all the pens on my desktop either. I just have many bunches of them around and write with one at a time. 😉

  13. 13
    David B says:

Word gets around, eh Rose. I’d suggest not so much from reading you blog but from clear thought-forms.

They’re all looking for platform 9 3/4 and there Rose is, the conductor to the express train home. 😉

It’s funny what your understanding is bringing clarity to. Used to think the person represented on the old show Medium was skilled. Not so much now. And a workshop today at Unity – training in Spiritual Addiction with a touch of EFT. Mixed in with some nonsense that confused release with spiritual connection. While release helps, the 2 are not equal.

  14. 14
    David B says:

Amy – if I might suggest, find out what your gifts are, then focus your learning time there. Then you can supplement that with the occasional good talk. Those can give a great current summary of this or that field. That can help satisfy the broader intellect.

There are online communities of polymaths (people with expertise in multiple fields) and polyglots (multilingual). And give yourself time. Many develop their diversity through a life of unique experiences, not so much all at once.

So specialize and you’ll develop expertise. And then the next chapter will open. And so on. We can see Rose, for example, has continued to add to her repertoire and the breadth of her expertise. But not by doing it all at once. 😉

  15. 15
    Jean says:

Was so glad to read these two posts Rose – confirmed that I have not been alone (!) in experiencing these particular after-the-shift circumstances.

    Good news.

Thank you Linda Stone for your comment #8…. which has helped me to realize that I had (past tense 🙂 been a bit, uh, over zealous shall we say
in my doing ‘loads of volunteer work’ around all this.

Back to Rose – great teaching info. in comments 5, 6, and 7.

Yes I too have noted how ‘word gets out’ on who can (and will) help by doing these healings effectively.

IMHO Linda stated the following so well….

“With your help, and sticking with twenty minutes a day of Technique Time,
I now have office MINUTES for volunteer healings in the astral.

I do my part, and then I go work in my garden or take photographs or play
    tennis.

I am not “On-Call” 24/7 to fix or save the universe.”

  16. 16

Dear JEAN, you are so not alone. 🙂

  17. 17
    David B says:

re #12 – i like the pen analogy, Rose. Lots of choice but we use one at a time.

The way I frame it, we live in a world filled with life on many levels of resolution. (I usually use a model of 7) It’s a little like tuning a radio station to shift to this or that level, overlaid on earth school.

We don’t walk around always “on” – way too much information. Rather if we notice some feeling value, we tune in and do what is needed. Then back off again.

Of course – this is just my style. I’m still learning Rose’s.

  18. 18
    Amy says:

    David,
Thanks for that! I think I will focus on what my studies officially are (psychology and counselling), Italian (since I just visited and loved it) and learning Rose’s system to “Cut cords of attachment” according to the books! And then anything else that interests me can become “reading for pleasure”, rather than trying to keep up!!
