Deeper Perception Made Practical

An energy healer's perspective on marijuana. A guest post by Linda Stone.

Smoking pot? To an aura reader, not just cute 'n quirky.

Why do we have so many articles about cannabis at a blog devoted to Deeper Perception Made Practical? Because techniques for aura reading and Skilled Empath Merge bring a natural high. And also because aura reading makes it easy to research the consequences of drug use, reading pot smokers at the level of chakra databanks (a.k.a. The nadis).

The topic of THC is timely, too. Pressure to smoke pot keeps intensifying, despite known health risks. (Weed sold today is way more powerful than the variety sold 25 years ago or longer.)

Recently we were discussing The Problem with Pot, Part Two when Blog-Buddy LINDA STONE brought in a comment about weed that I found so fascinating that…

Well, it has been elevated to the status of guest post. In my role as moderator, I have added just a few headings and links and minor edits.

For those Blog-Buddies who don’t know, LINDA is a graduate of the Mentoring Program in Rosetree Energy Spirituality. Some of her clients, in person or by phone have that type of session. Also, she does sessions in person, in Carlsbad, New Mexico, as an acupuncturist.

Perspective on pot from a long-time energy healer

Very informative, this latest conversation on marijuana. Here is my perspective as an energy healer.

In my work an acupuncturist, I enter into mind-body-spirit healing through the physical body. Rose’s assessment about shifts in consciousness through psychoactive drugs really clarifies for me what I have observed in pot users for the last three decades.

Now, in my state, medical marijuana is legal. I have observed many of the same issues with morphine or heroin use.

Users lose any interest in having a human interactive life. They live in their own “Purple Rain” fantasy world.

Either they stay “high” all the time or are seeking their next fix or high.

Why I’m not crazy about using marijuana to control pain, either

I work with many chronic pain sufferers. An emotional bypass is given through pot and heroin, oxycotin , tramadol . This pain-bypass, in my opinion, keeps people stuck in their pain.

Not to oversimplify, but I think pain is often the soul’s way to bring a person back into his or her human body and life.

I have personally suffered with debilitating migraine headaches for years. Once I faced my issues and quit trying to escape them… my headaches stopped.

Why my views on medical marijuana have changed

I have a lot of compassion for those who suffer physical and psychic pain.

Earth School is a difficult curriculum.

Personally, I have felt at different times in my life as though I had signed this life contract without the benefit of a celestial attorney.

Although I have never used pot myself, I have been an advocate in the past for medical use. My views have changed over the last ten years. Why?

I have lost several close family members to pot and morphine use. Some of it was sanctioned legally by the medical community; some was illicit.

In every case, human life became very unimportant to the user.

Depending on the astral high, the user lived in a constant haze. Completely unavailable emotionally.

They stopped caring about their families, their children, their jobs.

Every one of these users died early.

  • Drug deals gone bad
  • Overdoses
  • And a variety of other causes of death that were addiction-related.

Dying to get high?

While I do not believe pot to necessarily be a death sentence. I think it greatly impairs one’s ability to live life to its fullest.

Quite honestly, if drugs had worked for me, I would probably be using them. They just made my already overwhelming astral experiences worse.

Learning how to use deeper perception with good energy hygiene (Turn the aura reading on or off, purposely) and becoming a skilled empath. These have helped me more than any sort of self-medicating I ever tried.

I am so glad to have learned skills to protect myself, yet keep on exploring Deeper Perception safely.

    Thank you, this is fascinating.

    Rose,

I would like to add that pain medication can also be a life enhancer.

Certain kinds of chronic pain are absolutely unbearable without medical, and sometimes, chemical help.

I was just speaking to abuse of pain meds and cannabis.

Psychic pain seems to be where the meds are abused the most. And to be clear, I am not referring to chemical imbalances where psychiatric drugs like anti-depressants are used.

Linda, your post reminds me of how grateful I am to have this community. Knowing you all exist out there, especially my fellow mentees, gives me such strength.

Loved hearing your perspective as a long time energy healer Linda. thank you for this post. Interesting that ultimately users stay in their pain. I’ve witnessed first hand the lack of growth in all areas of being human when alcohol is abused.
I also found it really interesting about your migraines and facing your own issues.

Hi Rose, I am wondering about something: to grow up with a parent who consumes cannabis daily…how does this effect an unskilled empath-child?

  6. 6
    Isabelle says:

And another example regarding cannabis that I am wondering about: what happens when an unskilled empath has sex with someone who uses cannabis or ‘harder’ drugs? What happens with the aura…

Thank you for writing about this topic. I know so many people who say smoking pot is less harmful than drinking alcohol. Which I think is not true at all.

… Maybe this is not the right post for the question I have.

But I have been wonderig about the following: if marijuana and other drugs effect the energy field of a person so deeply…what about pschotropic medication, for example?

    Isabelle says:

… I would really like to know more about this. Do psychotropics alter ones aura ‘in a bad way’?
    🙂

I find this to be completely wrong. If it weren’t for medical cannabis I wouldn’t be able to get out of bed every day. I have crohns disease and IBS and there is NO cure for either. I have daily chronic debilitating pain, nausea, diarrhea… It feels like being in labor all of the time. With medical cannabis I am able to funtion, work, interact with my children. I would be stuck in bed daily with no pain medicines from the drs. Mostly because there is nothing they can do for you. Also, I have never met anyone who smokes marijuana that has become reclusive and only worries about their “next high”. I think before You post something like this you should do some research on the topic to see how many people it helps. Of the people who you say became disconnected or whatever, that is probably because they started smoking it before they were fully mature. Their brains were not fully developed. I can implore you as a person with a 4.0 college gpa, please do some research. This article is far to narrow minded.

CASEY, I haven’t researched as you have, dealing with such terrible pain… and I do wish you well.

However, I have done a great deal of research on the effects of smoking pot (a.k.a. weed, grass, cannabis, marijuana).

And that I have researched, including what improvement to the energy fields, lives, and behavior of clients.

I have people to STOP smoking pot. And I assure you that the differences have been highly, highly positive.

For example, JOE smoked pot regularly for three years.

He stumbled upon articles like this one at my blog.

JOE was shocked, because just about everywhere else folks were blogging as you did here, CARL.

JOE was curious enough to read. As he thought about it, the truth of my words — for him — caused him to simply stop.

He hasn’t smoked weed since then. And he’s growing really fast now, spiritually and mentally and intellectually and socially.

  12. 12

If any of you are like JOE, simply curious — maybe even surprised to find an anti-pot message on somebody’s blog — please think about it.

Maybe it can help to check out this set of 10 articles here at this blog about what deeper perception reveals about drugs, each of which comes from research done by me and RES experts I have trained, and our clients in many parts of the world.

    Irene says:

Chronic pain is very challenging to cope with. I don’t have your diagnoses, Casey, but I do have other very severe conditions causing severe chronic pain that doctors are unable to help with.

I have not used medical marijuana to treat it, as I had very negative experiences with that drug in my past.

  14. 14
    Irene says:

However, I have found that the kind of emotional and spiritual healing that RES provides is a support and a help.

Even while I still experience daily pain and severe limitations on what I’m able to do in my day, my quality of life is *hugely* improved since I started taking the information on this blog seriously, having sessions with an RES expert (Rose) and learning these techniques myself.

  15. 15
    Irene says:

And, although no promises of physical healing are made – RES is for emotional and spiritual healing only, I have noticed some improvements in my physical health as well.

Given that medical doctors hold out no hope for me, this is really quite remarkable and very encouraging.

    Lori says:

I have Crohn’s disease as well and am not Joe pot smoker looking for a buzz and do not like being in an altered state. So my question to you Rose is will it affect the aura if taken as an oil before sleep as to not experience the high?

If it saves our intestines from being removed and some parts of mine have been, isn’t that a good thing? Would it still be harming us spiritually? I would like to know as it will be most likely legalized medically in my state soon.

  17. 17

My heart goes out to you, LORI, and I thank you for asking this question.

Haven’t you heard the term “Medical marijuana?”

This is what medical marijuana really is for. Not a “Wink, wink, let’s pretend this is medical” marijuana.

  18. 18

Your physical survival has to come first.

Probably every person reading this blog has had lifetimes — and even times within this lifetime — when it was necessary to take pain killers of some kind.

    Strong ones.

Because it’s cruel not to make appropriate medications available. So physicians do it, as part of their oath (on balance) to “Do no harm.”

  19. 19

Please do not torment yourself because you have been going through a life experience that has been harsh in this particular way, and medication has been prescribed for you, and you’re wise enough to take it!

And please, please do not worry about what is happening with your aura or your evolution.

  20. 20

    Live as best you can.

From your comment, you sound to me like a lovely, thoughtful person with huge motivation to grow spiritually.

If you recognize yourself at all in that description, LORI, which do you think matters more?

  21. 21

Does it matter more that you care so much about being a good person and growing spiritually?

And that you’re doing what it takes to survive?

Or would it somehow be more important that you be a purist about helping yourself, turning up your nose at something that can help you survive better?

  22. 22

Do you think God would blame you or not love you as hugely as you deserve?

In what universe would it be considered noble to suffer even more pain than otherwise? To disregard the advice of your physician, when it makes so much sense? To maybe lose even more of your body?

And all for the sake of what?

  23. 23

Please be kind to yourself, LORI.

There’s a world of difference between thrill seekers, who smoke weed out of fun or curiosity or boredom… and you.

Sending you hugs, Lori, at least if it doesn’t physically hurt you, just to think about the idea.

What about your thoughts on cannabis promoting neurogenisis? Promoting growth of cannabinoids by replacing endo-cannabinoids ?

    Ryan Foster says:

It’s very important to note the difference between using medicinal cannabis products with high THC and medical cannabis products with Very low levels of THC. THC is the only psychoactive molecule in the plant. NowAdays you can buy products with only the CBD molecule which is the medicinal/pain killing compound of the plant. These strains shave been modified to grow without the psychoactive molecule and do not get you “high”. This is the oil you see being administered to children with seizures and high pain situations. This article is very uninformed and does not reflect this notion. I would urge you to rewrite the article after doing more in depth research. People are taking your word when you are hardly presenting accurate facts. This plant has the ability to help a lot of people and already has a bad reputatuion from years of propaganda and ignorance. Peace and

  26. 26

RYAN FOSTER, as you can see, I’ve published your comment. It’s always entertaining to read a carefully crafted package of insults wrapped up in excessive politeness. Nice touch ending in a sentence fragment. (For some mysterious reason that might involve smoking weed).

Yes, I’m aware of the emerging fad of placing CBD oil in products. Blog-Buddies, you would be wise to have a session of Soul Thrill® Aura Research to investigate before using this in any form whatsoever.

  27. 27

As noted in this article, “By one estimate, the CBD industry has doubled in size over the last two years, and is now worth $200 million. But with this popularity the hype may have gotten ahead of the science.”

And, of course, if you want sophisticated research about the consequences for your emotional and spiritual life of a choice like taking CBD, science is far behind aura-level research I can offer you about the impact of taking this substance derived from cannabis. Here’s background on Soul Thrill Aura Research.

  28. 28

In America, in the 1880’s, parents gave their children morphine as cough medicine. And cocaine was sold in the Sears Roebuck catalog.

No kidding! I know that pain and anxiety are terrible problems, but I urge you not to seek a solution in CBD until more is known about it.
