Deeper Perception Made Practical

An inspiring Christmas spirit can include humble, human thoughtfulness

This holiday, you can bring a sweet fantasy down to earth.

This holiday, you can bring a sweet fantasy down to earth.

If you feel inspired today, don’t just tell God. Tell somebody human.

Tell somebody who might otherwise be quite alone.

One of the sweetest people you’ll ever meet, GLADYS, went through a major illness this year. By now, GLADYS is doing much better. But did she ever go through months of nightmare health problems.

GLADYS lives alone. Really alone, since as part of this mess her cat died.

Thanksgiving came and went. Nobody called her, nobody. Despite having the active social life of a discerning but friendly single, during this time GLADYS did not receive a single phone call or card. Not over the holiday and not any other day, either.

Today’s loneliness epidemic may be a byproduct of shifts to technology or innumerable other factors. What matters most? What you can do about it.

How can you be a good friend in a human way?

Deeper Perception is the focus of this blog. And certainly it can be a treat to give a friend a face reading or aura reading, or to report on a Skilled Empath Merge. Especially if you ask in advance whether your friend would actually like to receive this. 😉

Deeper Perception can help you to be a good friend as a World Server. What about being a good friend, or relative, humanly?

Major holidays can be a time for major phone outreach. Maybe five or six whole telephone calls. Not texts or emails, either. Connecting voice-to-voice with a handful of people you know who might be alone on the holiday.

Call the one who was widowed two years ago. Holidays can be especially lonely for decades after a death. The human heart does not necessarily “Just get over it already.”

Call the one who is fighting an illness. Even if there has been no drama lately.

Call the one you have always loved, although you haven’t been close for years.

Call one family member you don’t especially like but still it’s worth opening a door into love.

Call the proud one, who wouldn’t call you but would so much appreciate your reaching out.

‘Tis the season to feel jolly? Not necessarily. But it can be a fine season to move through forgiveness and into speech and action. Human connection all aglow with human generosity.

Human-based spirituality

That is the sparkling new name from our blog community this year, “Human-based spirituality.” It refers to moving forward on your path of personal development, maybe even your path to Enlightenment, in a reasonably balanced way.

With human-based spirituality, you spend most of your waking hours being… human. Sure, you might do service to others as a volunteer, a neighbor, a political activist, with a hobby, doing your professional work.

Yet being human means there is way more to you. Being human means you can explore a solid sense of identity as a regular person. That human sense of identity is even cumulative, provided that you are willing to be yourself and do your reasonable best.

Human-based spirituality also leaves room for direct experience of something deeper. This might be related to religion or spirituality. You might make it up as you go along.

Your something deeper might mean spending 20 Daily Minutes of Technique Time, Tops, using techniques of aura reading or Skilled Empath Merge, might be face reading, might be doing aura healing and transformation for yourself or family or friends.

Because you reach out for something bigger than regular, stable, surface reality, you avoid living in spiritual shutdown. Many folks you know are living this way, Blog-Buddies. It’s sweet to reach out to them during the holiday season. Reach out in human terms, of course.

Even if someone acts defensively, related to living in spiritual shutdown, there is an inner fragility. That can be consoling for you to remember.

No matter what, whenever you reach out, you open up your heart and give a blessing. Perhaps you will get something human back, too. Life is so delightfully abundant with good surprises.

Same thing if you reach out to someone in spiritual addiction. That sweet person may not quite get you, but since when did friendship on earth demand perfection in every possible way?

It is 65 degrees on this Christmas Eve day in New Mexico. I have several friends and aquaintances who have lost loved ones this year. I have a few friends diagnosed with serious illness. I am certain everyone does.

I appreciate this simple reminder of the importance of human contact…. not just a card or email.

Speaking to another human about the most difficult of human conditions….. illness and death…. it is uncomfortable….

    I would rather send flowers.

I will make the effort to call or visit as many as I can in the next few days.

Thank you Rose. Happy, Merry, Everything!
