Last blog post whispered to you the idea that sometimes cutting a cord of attachment could be a really bad choice, even unethical. Especially ironic when a new client really, really, really feels sure that cord-cutting is THE thing to do.
Before proceeding further, I have a quick quiz question for you. Which group of readers is this post most directed towards?
- A. First-time clients for sessions of Rosetree Energy Spirituality
- B. Long-term, experienced clients who have already had several sessions of Rosetree Energy Spirituality
- C. Self-helpers, who do not plan to spend money on sessions when they would prefer a do-it-yourself approach
In the COMMENTS box below, I will answer and explain. Plus I will respond to any COMMENTS you have about this. Now, back to secrets….
Our Secret #1 could be summarized like this:
The client could have problems with subconscious STUFF that are far more urgent, as shown to the practitioner of Rosetree Energy Spirituality. Because that kind of aura-healing professional knows way more about this field than new clients ever would.
Secret #2, for today, gives one example of a Healing Centerpiece that would require attention in the session and help the client far more than cutting any cord of attachment.
Now that’s a big thing for me to admit in public. So far I have gone on record, in every possible way, to advocate for cutting cords of attachment. I do my very best to clean up the reputation of cord-cutting, especially important over the last decade, as more and more people have learned about the healing potential of cutting cords of attachment.
Yet there is little quality control today about cutting cords of attachment. Many healers and massage therapists and even beauticians are “Giving out cord-cutting” as a last little way to please clients at the end of the big, important service. Reminiscent of how, when my son, MATT, was little, many shopkeepers would offer him a lollipop.
Of course I believe in doing meticulous professional work, whether helping clients, training apprentices or helping folks with self-healing — people who definitely can get results on their own.
So what’s the problem?
12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment(R) always works. That’s true. Anyone who facilitates cutting a cord of attachment and uses the system, without mixing in other techniques or approaches, is going to successfully cut that cord of attachment forever. Under what circumstances could this possibly be considered ineffective?
Let’s use client JOE as an example. He wants to cut his cord of attachment to GLADYS. He is convinced this is just what he needs.
- Maybe JOE is a long-time client, who has been doing well until recently. He knows the power of cutting cords of attachment. He can’t wait to feel that kind of relief again.
- Or perhaps JOE is a new client, who has read about cord-cutting on the Internet or has sampled it one way or another. JOE knows just enough to value cutting cords of attachment.
- It is an honor to be selected by JOE to help him. It is an honor for me as an aura healer, but it is not a requirement that JOE tell me how to use my skills to best help him.
Not choosing to cut a cord of attachment doesn’t mean there IS no cord of attachment
Recently a new client had a first session with a Healing Centerpiece other than cord-cutting. She made the appointment certain that it was time to cut her cord of attachment to GLADYS. Initially she was surprised and disappointed. By the end of her session, she had done beautifully and felt hopeful about getting results.
Right before ending our session, she asked, “Because of what we did in the session mean that I don’t have a cord of attachment?”
Blog-Buddies, there is a world of difference between “Setting priorities” and “Not having a cord of attachment.”
You can be sure you have dozens of major cords of attachment, significant ones that detract from your quality of life.
None of this requires knowledge of your conscious mind. The beauty of an aura healing session is that your conscious mind and subconscious mind, an the rest of you, can look forward to results related to your session intention. You may know, any session of aura healing I facilitate will include a juicy and very specific list of “Logical consequences” that you can reasonably expect from the session.
Isn’t having a better life the point? Rather than being able to say to your friends, “I had my cords done.”
Why does a healing priority matter so much more than having the client just choose a technique like cord-cutting?
In many sessions, multiple techniques could be appropriate. Then I will give my client a choice.
Often, however, what happens is this. My client, say, JOE, has a kind of STUFF that is a bigger problem in his aura than cutting any cord of attachment. In that case, there will be plenty of reasons — specific to that particular form of STUFF, — why cord-cutting would be inappropriate, unethical and, even, relatively ineffective.
I’m not going to go into all the possibilities. Not unless you are in my Mentoring Program in Rosetree Energy Spirituality, in which case this sort of discernment is part of your training.
However, I will give you one example. Past clients, prospective clients, here is some very inside information about why technically it would be inappropriate to facilitate cord cutting when a client comes to a session with a Spiritual Addiction.
What shows in the aura of a client with a Spiritual Addiction?
There is a significant dynamic of imbalance with JOE’s chakra databanks.
- Those related to being a World Server are way expanded.
- Those related to being human are drastically under-functioning.
- Many energetic sub-routines are compromising the functioning of chakra databanks, as well.
If you’re curious to know more about spiritual addiction, I recommend these resources:

- Searching for articles about spiritual addiction here at the blog.
- Booking your own session with me for aura healing. If you suspect you might have a spiritual addiction, I will take that into consideration when helping you to fulfill your intention.
Note: Most clients with a spiritual addiction have no clue. Recently I heard the sweetest thank you from Ms. JOSEPHINE. To paraphrase:
“When I had my last session with you and you told me that I had a spiritual addiction, I felt shocked and disappointed. Mostly I felt angry. It took about six months before I was even ready to consider doing what you recommended.
Visual, an old-model television.
“Now it is two years later. My life got back on track shortly after doing that homework you gave me. I am so grateful.”
Incidentally, Ms. JOSEPHINE’s aura showed enormous progress when I did aura reading research. She hadn’t just overcome the spiritual addiction. She had evolved enormously on her personal path to Enlightenment.
So this, from the energy healer’s perspective, is WHY I would choose that particular Healing Centerpiece over cutting a cord of attachment.
In our concluding article of this series, I will explain in full living color — okay, full technical detail
I just love those excited announcements made often during my growing up years, when TV shows were new to delivering improvement over black-and-white TV so announcers would proclaim before the program, “In full living color.”
Living now, we are in the early days of energy spirituality. Not that different, come to think of it, from the days when families like mine traded in their perfectly good black and white televisions for the more high-tech model. Only when it comes to healing technology, it isn’t as simple as having brighter colors or more apps.
As a really smart New Age consumer, you would be wise to develop energetic literacy. This will really bring “Living color” to the secrets of Rosetree Energy Spirituality.
