The idea occurred to me as I sat down today, adding finishing touches to the manuscript of my new book to help empaths.
(Hello, how is today different from every day for the last six months? Only now I am seriously close to a publishing deadline.)
Stories can speak to us so powerfully, and every skilled empath does have a story to tell.
The Empowered Empath: Owning, Embracing, and Managing Your Special Gifts — this could use some personal tales of discovery, encouraging words. Yes, I’m doing still more edits on a book that began as a simple update to Empowered by Empathy and then morphed into a pair of how-to books, of which The Empowered Empath will come first.
So many of you empaths have stories to tell. I wonder if any of you would be interested in writing a few paragraphs, or longer, for possible inclusion in this upcoming how-to for empaths.
Questions worth pondering about for any skilled empath
- How has it changed your life, getting skills?
- What did you try before the system of Empath Empowerment(R)? If anything.
- Was it a shock when you discovered you were an empath?
- Have others noticed a change in you, since you have begun using consciousness to wake up from inside in that way that turns empath gifts OFF?
- How have your relationships improved?
- What don’t you do now, compared to what you did before?
- What are you now able to do? Something different that matters.
- If you could give reassurance or advice to an unsure empath, just starting to learn about empath skills, what would you say?
What to send me, if inspired to write something
Just email me your thoughts, Brave Empath. The questions above may get you writing. Answering all or any of them isn’t needed, though; depends on how you feel moved to write your story.
What is important, of course? That you have used the system of Empath Empowerment(R). Whether from one of my previous books or an Empath Empowerment Workshop or both.
The current plan? A small number of articles will be selected for publication in print and ebook form — rather than this blog.
What I do if I receive more than that small number? Will cross that bridge into Happyland… when I come to it.
If you feel moved to help other empaths (and me) in this way just write!
Your very human story is important. Writing it may inspire you further and move you forward on your personal path.
It may also inspire others. So many people learn best from stories. And so many empaths are confused or unsure or just plain longing for inspiration.
How to proceed if you’re interested
Just do it. To be considered for this particular project, all stories must be received no later than this Saturday evening, April 26, 2014. Just blurt out those words, Blog-Buddies! I’ll do basic edits, so never fear the awkward phrase or grammatical error.
Email to me at rose at rose-rosetree.com
Include your first and last name and the city where you live. (If you wish to write under a pen name, that’s fine. Just so long as you write your true story.)
No money will be paid for this. Not even bribes. 😉
However, if I publish your story I will send you a copy of this new book. And, of course, I will give you my heartfelt thanks.
Pioneering these skills for empaths is a powerful kind of leadership. You may help so many by your example.
Again, rather than sending this as a comment, please send it by email to me, rose at rose-rosetree.com — but if you have questions about this open call for stories, do put that on comments below.
