Age Energy Shift — that happened 12/21/12. Now that we’re in The Age of Awakening, are we going to adjust badly or well? Let me help you adjust WELL.

Position your consciousness the effortless way? Of course you can how learn to do this. That’s the point of today’s article.

Hint: For best results, no effort will be required. And, definitely, no willpower.

Hey, what does “Position your consciousness” mean, anyway? Why would it matter? To put it bluntly:

A shockingly large number of spiritual seekers are badly adjusted to being human.

That can change. One of the easiest ways to help yourself will be presented to you in today’s article.

The Shift into The Age of Energy

If it’s any consolation, being a well-adjusted human got harder after The Shift into The Age of Energy. You know, that change which happened to all of us, a shift in collective consciousness, leading up to 12/21/12. All of humanity has to adjust, a process that might continue to be challenging until 2042 or later.

Whatever you, personally, call “The Shift” into “The Age of Energy” — including if you never noticed a thing — this vibrational shift is a big deal. It affects your life. Learning how to live in this  new Age of Energy causes problems because it is easier than ever to slip into positioning consciousness at the astral (and subconscious) levels of life. Leading to spiritual addiction and loads of other problems.

By contrast, when you develop the habit of positioning your consciousness at human frequencies, this will be a powerful way of protecting yourself.

Protecting yourself spiritually and energetically. Protecting yourself emotionally. Protecting yourself financially. Protecting yourself sexually. Protecting yourself mentally.

The question that inspired today’s post arrived yesterday, at Completing our series about brain fog. Tips and an energy workaround. Three cheers for Comment #14 by RACHEL.

“Would you say that reinserting oneself back into objective reality is basically an effort of will?

“You notice that you’ve been daydreaming or are having an away moment, then you move or touch something or smell something in order to reinsert yourself back into objective reality – and in that moment of choice, you are consciously and deliberately choosing something different – it requires self-discipline to make that new choice, does it not, especially if it is not different from your habitual behaviour?

“At least, that is how it seems to be for me. It is – sadly – more tempting to continue daydreaming, even though I know that it is not doing me any good! I have to exert my willpower to do something differently.”

Positioning consciousness is best done effortlessly. Willpower has NOTHING to do with it. Consciously and deliberately sounds way too hard. Just a shift of attention, please.

Self-discipline? Gack! Please spare yourself. Also no whips or devices for self-flagellation will be required, either.

Successful Shift into The Age of Energy:

Position your consciousness EFFORTLESSLY

An effortless shift of consciousness can simply be a choice. For example, right now:

  • Can you see words on this screen?
  • Could you notice the space between words instead?
  • Are you able to look at your hand, just because you decide to?
  • Or do you have to make a really Herculean effort, like creating a hand, manufacturing knuckles, sweating and grunting, offering up a prayer to Archangel Michael? And then maybe if you try really, really hard, you might manage to see part of one finger?

Many things about human life take effort. Not positioning awareness while you are in the waking state of consciousness. Just paying attention to X versus Y or Z can be easy.

Especially when X is objective reality.

Objective Reality Can Help You Adjust

Check out the electronic device that you’re using right now to read this article.

It’s a thing, right? It’s a material object in human objective reality.

  • Anything you might physically touch or move or see or smell.
  • Any part of your body that you might move on purpose.
  • Any sound you might make, from yodeling to saying “Duh!”

All of that is objective reality. And a really neat trick about human-level objective reality is that whenever you interact with it in any way, through senses or speech or action — automatically your consciousness will be positioned there.

Save willpower for something difficult.

    My favorite line: “Objective reality is clean and easy and obvious.”

    Yes! For me, when I catch myself in those away moments, coming back to objective reality feels just like that.

    Like drinking a glass of water when I’m really thirsty. And the glass was in front of me the whole time.

    Hellooo! Tomorrow I’m going on a retreat. I’ll be breaking the technique time! But only for a couple of days. And only with others who are mostly awake or so already. 😉

    You make a great point about effortless. To often in the west we think anything worth doing is worth doing the hard way. We also so much underestimate the simple power of our attention. And what we give it to.

    As for me, I’m more sophisticated now. I don’t call it “daydreaming”. Now I call it contemplation. That name makes it spiritual. The great sages contemplated the meaning of life, their purpose, and every nuance about what might be.

    One day I might force myself to be practical, but isn’t that boring? Isn’t it better to spent hours navel-gazing?

    Loved this Rose. Esp that willpower is an excellent way to make you feel bad about yourself. Quite eye opening all the things we do and accept as necessary that only serve to make us feel bad, like willpower and Shoulding ourselves.
    Also I use to be a huge daydreamer, imaging all kinds of different life scenarios for myself (kind of embarrassing) and it never occurred to me that that wasn’t a great idea. Now I’ve realized I don’t do that at all anymore, wow. I guess I’ve stopped needing to escape every moment with fantasy thanks to Rosetree Spirituality work or should I say no work, lol.

    It was a relief to feel how effortless consciousness can be, when I attended Rose’s Cut Cords workshop this month. I was so used to pushing hard, and working hard to get things done. It was a welcome relief to feel…lightness. Consciousness as a light touch, like a butterfly’s wings.

    Delicacy and grace may not be qualities that are praised that often in society (that I know of), but in the realm of consciousness, they can take flight:)
