How Deeper Perception Helped Me in 2014, a Guest Post by JESSICA GATES

Jessica Gates has found seven ways to use Deeper Perception

Jessica Gates has a lot to say about different aspects of Deeper Perception. She knows so much about all the systems I teach. Her intellectual clarity combined with determination to evolve has resulted in an amazing summary of how much one person can benefit from the many applications of Deeper Perception in this system of Rosetree Energy Spirituality.

Just look at all the topics included in Jessica’s guest post! She knows whereof she speaks (and writes). This is another wonderful entry in our latest contest, What did you learn about deeper perception in 2014? A joyful contest to enter.

Seven Ways I Have Grown in 2014

2014 has probably been the most difficult year of my life. But I have learned and grown so much this year! I have come so far!

1. Face Reading Secrets

I am not a graduate or apprentice of Rose’’s Face Reading Secrets Mentoring Program.

I haven’’t even been able to take the Face Reading Workshop, yet. But from what I’’ve learned from Rose’s books and this blog, I’’m noticing things like eye angles and nose length.

This information supplements what I learn about people from the things they say and do. It’’s nice to understand people better.

2. Aura Reading

I’’ve learned over and over again that not everybody is “just like me.”

Actually, I have not yet met anyone who is “just like me.” (I am beginning to believe such people may not exist.)

But I have also learned that each person has a unique and beautiful set of gifts of the soul. I have gained a deeper appreciation for each person, his/her struggles, and each individual’s determination to just do the best s/he can.

This gives me courage to do the best I can, and an appreciation for my own life, my struggles. Also, I have a greater feeling of camaraderie with other people.

3. Skills of Empath Empowerment®

Most of what I have learned about Empath Empowerment® has been in previous years. But I do continue to use Empath Empowerment® techniques regularly, because I have learned that it is easy for me to slip into unskilled empath merges. This past year, I have finally felt that I have become a skilled empath.

I have grown in many ways and learned many things related to 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment®. I have seen how I have grown and progressed, learning from cord items, and having that STUFF gone.

Relationships have improved. Having less of any kind of STUFF means a clearer mind-body-spirit system.

As in years past, skills of Spiritual Cleansing and Protection have been very helpful for me this year.

I travel a lot, and every place I stay, I do the full skill set. I certainly notice the difference, but it has been interesting when sometimes other people also notice a difference.

It seems there is no shortage of Negative Thought Forms or Psychic Coercion on this planet. Again, less STUFF means a clearer mind-body-spirit system.

5. Past-Life Regression with Soul Energy Awakening Hypnosis®

Receiving sessions Soul Energy Awakening Hypnosis® has given me such learning and growth.

I have learned an even greater compassion for human experiences, especially my own.

Judging others has never been much of a thing for me, but in judging myself, I’’ve always been particularly harsh.

As a client for sessions of Soul Energy Awakening Hypnosis this past year, I have healed so much and grown so much. Some results have been quite noticeable – I’’ve lost ten pounds, for example. But most of the growth is much more personal, such as an improved social life.

I have had zero experience with Vibrational Re-Positioning® (yet), so we’ll skip that one. (But I’ve heard it’s extremely helpful.)

6. Name Alignment® Research, a form of Soul Thrill® Aura Research

My experiences with Name Alignment® Research have probably been my biggest growth and learning this entire year.

To summarize what I’’ve written in comments elsewhere on this blog, after three sessions of Name Alignment® Research with Rose, we finally found a name that truly thrills my soul. Although my name change wasn’t completely legal until June, I announced my new name at the end of February 2014.

Friends who had changed their names warned me that the results would be awesome, but there would be an adjustment period that wouldn’’t be easy. My life has never been easy, so I just brushed it off. I figured the hardest part would be getting used to answering to a name I didn’’t particularly like.

Actually, the hardest part for me has been handling other people and their reactions to my name change.

I don’’t really understand what business it is of anyone else’’s what my name is.

I’’ve found that people from this community (Rose’’s blog and workshops and mentoring programs) accepted me. But most people I knew really had a hard time with it.

Some people I thought were good friends simply stopped talking to me.

Some told me they could never accept me with this new name.

A couple even insulted my new name pretty harshly. It was a very lonely time.

But I did have a few friends around here who accepted me unconditionally. I learned that that type of friendship is really the only kind I want.

And I’’ve met new people who don’’t even know my name hasn’’t always been Jessica, and they like me.

I have a new set of friends, now, more than I ever had before. And they accept me for who I am!

I’’ve learned and grown in other ways related to my name change, also.

Having a name that thrills my soul, I am more confident, I stand up for myself more, I am happier, and I’’m even physically healthier. Nobody ever asks me how to spell my name anymore. Okay, that’s not a way I’’ve grown, but it’’s a nice bonus.:-)

7. Moving forward rapidly with Human-Based Spirituality

In the past, I have been prone to spiritual addiction. In a way, I almost enjoyed it. Sort of. But I was quite ineffective at being human! Not fun at all.

I had even been on the path (unknowingly) to advanced spiritual addiction. That was an interesting experience.

Someone very dear to me is completely involved in advanced spiritual addiction. She is not herself, and I did not want that happening to me.

Fortunately, Rose caught the problem (with me), and facilitated the appropriate healing. Life has improved since then. Living in human-based spirituality, I am so much more effective at being human, and I have a much better life!

Built into every session with Rose is Enlightenment Coaching. Healing STUFF plus appropriate put-in helps so much on my path to Enlightenment and beyond. Less STUFF, more ME!

And understanding that I just do the best I can, and not give myself a hard time is a big part of it.

Each intention helps me on my path. Living more in the present, improving relationships (from my side), making more money – all helps me to improve each aspect of my life.

With all of that, I think the most important understanding I’’ve gained this year is that spiritually enlightened or not, I’’m living a great (if not easy and perfect-in-every-way) HUMAN life, and I can enjoy that. I think there will always be room for learning, growth, and improvement. And that makes life exciting to me!

Thank you so much for sharing all of this, Jessica! One piece which really stuck out to me in a totally delightful way was this:

“And I’ve met new people who don’t even know my name hasn’t always been Jessica, and they like me.”

Such a deep insight, and at the same time, a playful “of course!” Makes me giggle. I don’t think we’ve met, but I am sure I would like you! And I’ve seen your name around here many times, and always thought it was so beautiful. Makes perfect sense, if your soul is thrilled to shine through it. 🙂

Thank you, Sarah. Yeah, I don’t believe we have met. Maybe we’ll attend a future workshop together or something.

I really like my name, now, though I didn’t like it much at first. I’m finding that it really suits me.

Thank you for your comment! Now, on to read your guest post. 🙂

Thank you, Jessica. This is so beautifully expressed! I particularly liked,

“I have learned over and over again that not everybody is ‘just like me.”

But I have also learned that each person has a unique and beautiful set of gifts of the soul.

This gives me courage to do the best I can, and an appreciation for my own life, my struggles.”

All this helps me find more self-acceptance and appreciation for my own life.

Jessica, I really enjoyed your post! Yours and the other guest posts inspired me to reflect on the year and write my own post.

I took a look at your website and noticed that you live in an area not too far from where I grew up.

I applaud you for moving ahead with your name change! I can understand the various reactions you experienced; they were the kinds of reactions I feared as I contemplated my own name change a few years ago.

It takes courage to change your name and I think that your new name is beautiful.

Jessica, its so lovely that you have progressed to the point of having your own practice, congratulations!
It’s also comforting to know that others still occasionally slip into empath merges without meaning to on occasion.
