Blog-Buddies, I’m really looking forward to this research. The amazing Edward Norton plays an over-the-top role with his usual flair in “Birdman.” Let’s give him an aura-level close-up.

Get Ready for Today’s Aura Reading Movie Review

The Film: “Birdman

The Movie Trailer: Watching the actual movie is really way less fun than you might think from this trailer. Beware! (Although Norton’s performance was absolutely delicious.)

Plot Summary from the Academy’s Official Website

Edward Norton plays Mike, an egotistical movie star who is cast in a Broadway play opposite a faded actor desperate for a comeback.

Here are the photos we’ll use

Aura Reading Databank at the Root Chakra for Connecting to Physical Reality

Reading  Edward Norton’s aura as himself

5 miles. Sensuous and earthy, fun-loving. A very physical intelligence informs how Edward Norton relates to life around him.

He’s comfortable with his charisma, emotionally warm, and exceptionally uninhibited about putting on different personalities as a performer.

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as Mike

Fills the room plus two inches. Intense charisma mingled with conceited and all-encompassing egoism.

Mostly lives in his head and his prejudices.

Arrogance and edgy obnoxiousness lightly shade the huge energy presence as he makes contact with reality.

This is a man who is used to having physical reality respond to him, more than the other way around (the plight of us humans, in the majority, who interact as best we can with our given surroundings and relationships).

Chakra Databank CHANGE Points: 1

Interestingly, Edward Norton was able to keep his intense charisma lively. Yet he has distorted it, along with many other changes that make him aurically unrecognizable in his role as Mike.

Aura Reading Databank at the Belly Chakra for Sex Appeal

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as himself

Fills the room. Appeals to men and also to women.

Shyness in life has largely been overcome by this ultra-sensitive empath. Yet he still hides a bit behind his sex appeal.

Seems to me, Edward Norton uses his sexual charisma and personality charisma like a test for potential relationships. By now, of course, this is exaggerated by his A-list fame.

As a result, Edward Norton has the luxury of observing how people respond.

Watching those potential friends gives him a chance to draw back from the interaction, decide if he likes what he sees, and only then open up to the next stage of closeness in his relationship.

Reading Edward Norton’s as Mike

Fills the room plus two inches. Edward Norton’s is a molecular empath who has a gift for shaking people up sexually, along with all the other ways that molecular empaths  tend to have high-impact auric modeling.

Edward Norton’s character adds charisma and a pushy sense of dominance in personal relationships. He uses his sexiness as a weapon, knowing that sheer sex appeal can cause people to find him intensely attractive, even irresistible. This gives him power to manipulate.

Chakra Databank CHANGE Points: 1

Once again, Edward Norton has taken a very individual personal style at a chakra databank, then torqued and twisted it with an entirely different intent. And, thus, he has produced a very different result. This acting creation is so brilliantly rendered as a satire.

Aura Reading Databank at the Solar Plexus Chakra for Sharing Power in Relationships

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as himself

Fills the room plus 2 inches. Laid back and collaborative, Edward Norton has a secret weapon if power dynamics turn nasty. He is so much smarter than most people. He also has tremendous sophistication in his reading of social dynamics.

No wonder he can afford to avoid appearing pushy.

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as Mike

6 inches. “Anal retentive” comes to mind as a description. Which might be the first time in my entire life I have used that Freudian jargon.

Edward Norton’s character is stingy about sharing, refuses to let go, couldn’t be more controlling in his interpersonal relationships. Plus he is way too egoistical to consider sharing.

Chakra Databank CHANGE Points: 1

So far, this is my favorite transformation of Edward Norton’s for this film, as usual it was done all the way down to the level of a chakra databank.

Aura Reading Databank at the Heart Chakra for Emotional Self-Awareness

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as himself

27 feet. Edward Norton can turn it off or on, being interested in his emotions. At the time of this photo, he is paying light attention.

My sense is that he can become strongly and intuitive self-aware emotionally when it suits him, as when analyzing a role in order to craft who he will be.

It’s quite refreshing to read this chakra databank in a professional actor. More commonly I encounter either a self-absorbed observer of emotions or someone quite shut down (unless purposely playing a role). Three cheers for the mental health of Edward Norton at the time of this photograph!

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as Mike

Out to the moon. Full of vanity and self-indulgence. It’s as though the main work in life for Mike is endlessly embroidering the nuances of his precious emotional life. Wow! Revolting yet superb, as a way to be when portraying this character!

Chakra Databank CHANGE Points

Aura Reading Databank at the Throat Chakra for Verbal Integrity

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as himself

Out to the moon. A long-standing energetic subroutine distorts the functioning of this chakra databank.

If you know much about energetic literacy, Blog-Buddies, you know that about 2/3 of a person’s chakra databanks are about being human (including the Throat Chakra Databank for Verbal Integrity).

While 1/3 of a person’s chakra databanks are helping out as a World Server.

For Edward Norton, at the time of this photo, he aims to help humanity by telling the truth. It’s a lovely ideal. Yet the experiment may eventually lose its charm for him.

Certainly it won’t bring him to a higher state of consciousness (in my opinion as an Enlightenment Coach). And it may be throwing some of his personal relationships way out of whack.

A bit like what would happen if you invited the Delphic Oracle over to your apartment for tea and cookies.

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as Mike

40 feet. Piercing perceptiveness and a commitment to be a truth speaker. A little edge is added, with sarcasm, a sense of vast personal superiority, and incessant egoism.

Chakra Databank CHANGE Points: 3/4

I’m not awarding a full point because the chakra databank change is to add a little edge, a telling change of emphasis. Yet this has been superbly done, I’ll acknowledge.

Aura Reading Databank at the High Chakra for Soul Thrill

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as himself

To the moon. In this publicity photograph, Edward Norton is deeply and humbly grateful to have this stellar career. It’s a a spiritual calling to him, and he cares passionately about bringing truth into this world.

Reading Edward Norton’s aura as Mike

Fills the room plus 2 inches. It tickles Edward Norton to fearlessly project such conceit, being obnoxious beyond belief.

It’s so refreshing to him. He also feels a commitment to helping his viewers. Tucked into this chakra databank is a powerful sense of spiritual service, connection to the Divine, as he helps to free up fear of egoism for his viewers through the satirical nature of his role in this film.

Chakra Databank CHANGE Points: 1

What a glorious actor! No matter it is such fun to watch him on screen in a comedic role.

Conclusion, with total Chakra Databank CHANGE Points: 5 3/4

The deft satrical edge that Edward Norton delivered in this role was all the more remarkable given the un-subtle, bullying lines that the character Mike delivered.

At a subconscious level, Edward Norton’s performance was even more delicious than the obvious zest in his screen role.

World-class actors are able to do something few humans can

Sometimes an Oscar nominee will change so deep down, when creating a role, that the transformation shows subconsciously and energetically. One chakra databank after another is altered.

Usually chakra databanks tell the truth. So it’s really fascinating to find which actor succeeds that deeply.

Even the best actors don’t always do this. I have an annual custom of comparing auras of top-nominated actors with their auras in roles. It’s a way to investigate the depth of acting.

This blog post will tell you more about my method of using energetic literacy for aura reading film criticism. To learn more about the sequence of research I’ll use this year on some of the most interesting Academy Award nominees, see this Aura Reading Film Critique blog post.

So interesting! Edward Norton has always been one of my favorite actors. Really enjoyed reading this. And I didn’t know he is an empath!

Fascinating reading, Rose. I’ve heard this was an amazing performance. I didn’t quite understand what you meant about his verbal integrity however. Do you mean that he tells the truth in all situations, to the detriment of his relationships (like telling someone he/she looks fat)? How does an energetic subroutine come in?

Norton did indeed play the role very well. Too bad it was such an obnoxious part.

Good to see he’s not too messed up by fame.
