5 Ways to Advance Your Spiritual Development

Everyday happiness can help you to integrate spiritual growth

Everyday happiness can help you to integrate spiritual growth

Off and on during this past week, happiness has been a theme — in your life, probably. And definitely at this blog. Let’s move that happiness forward today.

For context:

Now let’s move forward with spiritual INTEGRATION.

Moving towards Enlightenment, we expand spiritually. Then we must integrate every bit of that as human beings. Living it! Making it real!

Enlightenment isn’t merely a theory. It is a state of consciousness.

Spiritual Expansion Matters

Precious moments of spiritual expansion matter whether that be spontaneous experiences of Awakening (over which you have no control) or purposely using Technique Time to help yourself evolve spiritually.

Could Your Personal Growth Be Stuck in a Rut? gave you five ways to expand consciousness for a more vibrant spiritual life. All were very full resources, from RES (Rosetree Energy Spirituality) that could help you on a regular basis, from a month’s worth of daily activities to a full year’s worth of inspiration.

Living in this Age of Awakening, Spiritual Integration Matters Just as Much

Could be, you have already done loads of things today that helped you grow spiritually.

Today let’s turn to five ways to integrate all that spiritual expansion. What I like to call “Human-Based Spirituality” is a way to evolve super-fast. Each day you do 20 minutest of Technique Time. Then you live your life, enjoying it as much as possible. This serves as spiritual integration.

Each of the following RES resources can help you move more rapidly on your path of personal growth — which you could also call your path to Enlightenment.

1. Reading Faces Is a Great Way to Shallow Up

Whether you’re reading your own face for character or sizing up people you work with, why not learn to do the very human activity called Face Reading Secrets ?

Your RES resource: “The NEW Power of Face Reading

Note: This book gives you the best cheap date, or Birthday celebration, or Girl’s Night Out. Many of them, actually! Once you have the basics about how to read faces, do one chapter per visit.

Who will ever forget that great Nose Get-Together, for instance? You and your pals, each with a mirror, plus one nose apiece. You romp through that chapter, about one facial feature — in this case, the “Noses” chapter.

Who has what? What are the possibilities in that chapter? What do you have? And the others? Can you relate?

Such a very human form of entertainment, and all of this will serve (in the background) to help stabilize your spiritual evolution.

2. Playing with Body Language is another Great Way to Integrate Your Consciousness

Of course, Blog-Buddies, you’d cross over into Technique Time if you were doing it constantly. Otherwise, researching body language, like physiognomy (face reading), can be a delightful way to enrich life experience while staying just at the shallow-up level.

And, thereby, you are integrating your spiritual growth.

Your RES resource: “Read People Deeper — Body Language + Face Reading + Auras”

Note: For spiritual integration purposes, choose your favorite of the 50 categories available for researching. Do either body language or face reading or both.

But skip the aura reading part of that chapter unless you are going to use official Technique Time for that.

3. A Resource to Just Make You Happier

With hypnotism, sometimes I use my training as a hypnotist either as an instructor (teaching the program developed by the National Guild of Hypnotists or else teaching the distinctive method of past-life regression called Soul Energy Awakening Hypnosis®). Other times I simply facilitate sessions with clients.

But the big exception is one particular CD. This is excellent for helping you to integrate spiritual development. Listen to “Your Happiness Project” just once and it will establish a powerful inner signal to help wake up your happiness.

Then, every time you wish, you can turn on the happiness. Because you’ll know how. Doesn’t count as Technique Time, either.

Results are subtle but so dependable. I can’t imagine going through a single day without doing Switching on the Happiness several times.

4. Notice the HSPs and Empaths in Your Life

Highly Sensitive Persons abound: 1 in 5 people. Even empaths (of one sort or another) are pretty darned common: 1 in 20 people.

Well, why not notice them sometimes? I don’t mean a deep study, just being interested in noticing which people seem to have a lifelong gift for sensitivity and which do not?

Not that different from noticing fashion, if that has ever appealed to you. Once you pay attention, you can find loads of information that can help you fine-tune your social skills.

How you pass the time, socially — that’s a golden opportunity to integrate spiritual development.

Your RES resource: The spiritual thriller “The Roar of the Huntids.”

This novel is the coming-of-age story, set in 2020, of a clueless and unskilled empath. Social satire includes those who wear 10-lb. crosses, do the dances of The Righteous, and more.

Not that you need to novel to be vastly entertained by the parade of life’s empaths and non-empaths.

5. Make More Money. Real Money. Not the Kind of Dreamboards

Any kind of work that you do can serve to integrate spiritual awareness. Especially if you do the work for its own sake, not self-consciously looking over your shoulder (or at your Third Eye Chakra in the mirror) to evaluate how well your spiritual evolution is doing right now.

In Conclusion

When it comes to spiritual integration, the life that you have right now is perfect. Imperfections and all.

Everything you do to make your life better has the side effect of making your evolution sticky… so long as you’re paying attention to human life, not sweetening it up all day long with psychological overwork or spiritual addiction.

Today can be such a great day to be alive.

And Grace and Delphine, both talking about asking for clarity from those who are being unclear. I can relate to that, too.

Shortly after developing skills, I found myself saying, “I don’t understand what you’re saying” to some of my colleagues almost every day.

    Sarah says:

At first this made me nervous… but they didn’t respond with, “What’s wrong with you! You’re supposed to be able to read my mind!” (which I guess I was subconsciously afraid of!).

  3. 3
    Sarah says:

Instead, they said: “Sorry. I can be clearer. That’s something I’d like to work on.” And then they clarified.

  4. 4
    Sarah says:

I was shocked to realize, especially later in feedback from these colleagues, that I had really helped them by asking them to clarify instead of just guessing.

  5. 5
    Sarah says:

Usually I could guess right, sure, but that wasn’t doing them any favors in terms of their ability to communicate with others.

And if I guessed wrong, we’d both have unpleasant consequences to deal with.

    Ahh, so nice, Rose!

The integration side of spiritual development can be such a breath of fresh air (or other nice, physical, human analogy). A lot of teachers don’t emphasize this, maybe just assuming that folks are doing it all the time already… but that’s how you can inadvertently nudge people into spiritual addiction, right??

    Sarah says:

My newest favorite integration “practice” is a combination of #5 and… well, a little of #4 and #2, but maybe just “noticing people and what they say and do” more generally.

    Sarah says:

I started a part-time job at a restaurant chain to help support me through grad school.

Nothing like making sandwiches, making money, and surface-level people-watching to integrate, integrate, integrate.

  9. 9
    Sarah says:

My manager was concerned that I would be “bored” given my previous career (very heady, very isolating, very little “real” daily activity).

    I laughed out loud.

    Sarah says:

How could toasting bagels and watching parents argue with their kids about how many sweets to buy be boring??

But I suppose that I’m in a place to be craving that very mundane, human source of integration these days.
