Aura Reading Movie Review Starring John Boyega

John Boyega of "Star Wars" fame, is ready for his aura reading

John Boyega, of “Star Wars” fame, is ready for his aura reading

‘Tis the season for Aura Reading Movie Reviews. I’m leaping right in with a multi-entry nomination from this year’s Contest for This Year’s Aura Reading Movie Reviews.

Admittedly, John Boyega was not nominated for an Academy Award for his performance in “STAR WARS: EPISODE VII – THE FORCE AWAKENS.”

And not all reviews were raves. (If you click on the previous link, and scroll down, you’ll find links to an assortment of movie reviews.)

Still, for the sake of diversity, this year I’m mixing in non-nominated performers along with official Academy Award Nominees.

KIRA was the first nominator of John Boyega, followed by other Blog-Buddies. Well, let’s have at it.

Background on Aura Reading Movie Reviews

This blog post will tell you more about my method of using energetic literacy for aura reading film criticism.

To learn more about the sequence of research I’ll use this year on some of the most interesting Academy Award nominees, see this Aura Reading Film Critique blog post.

It’s a very Age of Awakening form of movie criticism, researching which actors are able to change so deeply, it registers at their subconscious minds and chakra databanks.

Get ready for today’s Aura Reading Movie Review

The Film:

“Star Wars: Episode VII — The Force Awakens”

The Movie Trailer

Plot Summary:

Thirty years after the defeat of the Galactic Empire, the galaxy faces a new threat from the evil Kylo Ren (Adam Driver) and the First Order. When a defector named Finn (John Boyega ) crash-lands on a desert planet, he meets Rey (Daisy Ridley), a tough scavenger whose droid contains a top-secret map. Together, the young duo joins forces with Han Solo (Harrison Ford) to make sure the Resistance receives the intelligence concerning the whereabouts of Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill), the last of the Jedi Knights.

Here are the photos we’ll use:

John Boyega as himself.

Let’s keep in mind, this is no casual snapshot but a posed photograph. John Boyega is on, showing himself to best advantage as the professional performer he is.

Technical point: In today’s blog post, for the first time (I think), I’ll be mentioning a “Personality Projection.” Which is something he does. Read on!

Aura Reading Movie Review, John Boyega in “The Force Awakens”

Aura Reading Databank at the Root Chakra for Connecting to Physical Reality

Reading John Boyega’s aura as himself

48 feet. Emphasizes power in his dealings with reality.

John Boyega has a talent for sending out a personality projection — an energetic version of himself that he would like other people to use for relating to him. His Personality Projection goes “I’m a tough guy. Don’t mess with me. Respect me. I deserve respect.”

Incidentally, one reason to go beyond Stage One Energetic Literacy is that, at this sweet but beginning stage of skill at reading energy, a person is almost always taken in by astral-level personality projections. Even more than for people who aren’t paying attention to energy.

Yes, you read that right. More gullible. More easily manipulated. Yet one more reason to learn SKILLS to supplement your natural talent for aura reading!

Well, this experienced aura reader, with Stage Three Energetic Literacy, can easily research what’s REALLY going on in chakra databanks.

So what really shows in John Boyega’s Root Chakra Databank for Connecting to Physical Reality, apart from the aforementioned symbolic size?

Big, tough body or not, John Boyega is a Highly Sensitive Person, committed to being an artist. He relates to physical reality as an artist does.

Actually, seems to me, John Boyega takes his life role as an actor very seriously… to such an extent that he’s extremely self-conscious when walking, moving physical objects, angling his body in a room. Even when not officially acting, he’s “Gathering material.”

The other point worth noting here is how very hard he tries to seem manly in a way that requires hiding his sensitivity, seems to me.

Blog-Buddies, get the irony there? Personality projections are usually a very strong contrast with the truth of who a person really is.

Reading John Boyega’s aura as Finn

80 feet. Full of (justifiable) rage parlayed into an insistence on overcoming all obstacles.

Chakra Databank Change Points: 1/2

This strikes me as an intensified version of the personality projection he does already.

Aura Reading Databank at the Belly Chakra for Sex Appeal

Reading John Boyega’s aura as himself

9 inches. Conflicts galore currently complicate many of  John Boyega’s about sexuality. Among other factors, there are subconscious confusions (energetic subroutines) about creativity and being an artist that have been mixed in with sexual energy.

Of course, this is only at the time of the photo used for today’s exercise in energetic literacy. STUFF can always, always, always be healed.

Reading John Boyega’s aura as Finn

2 feet. “No time for sex now. I’m too busy doing something important for survival, etc.”

Chakra Databank Change Points: 1/4

This is such an easy choice, given what ordinarily is going on for the actor. Still, 1/4 of a Chakra Change Point is better than could be done by the likes of me. Or many a professional actor (especially the ones who are famous for their beauty and sex appeal)!

Aura Reading Databank at the Solar Plexus Chakra for Sharing Power in Relationships

Reading John Boyega’s aura as himself

1 foot. To John Boyega, it probably feels like pride. An appropriate kind of pride that he has cultivated as part of his development as a person, including his work as an actor.

Yet there’s a rigidity, to the extent that he probably appears disinterested in other people’s ideas. Unless he MUST do as others say, e.g., Obey the movie director.

Arrogance is another way that he might seem, in social situations where other people have ideas about how to proceed.

At the time of this photo John Boyega is quite stuck about being able to share power with other people.

Reading John Boyega’s aura as Finn

1 foot. He can’t share power with anyone. The situation is too dire. He must exert leadership, and not allow anyone else to tell him what to do.

Chakra Databank Change Points: 0

No significant change here, except of costume and scenery.

Aura Reading Databank at the Heart Chakra for Emotional Self-Awareness

Reading John Boyega’s aura as himself

Out to the moon. John Boyega is fascinated by his own emotions.

At the time of this photo, this intense self-absorption is equated with “being an artist.”

Reading John Boyega’s aura as Finn

Out to the moon. A fascination with what his emotions would be, as an actor, in this situation.

Chakra Databank Change Points: 0

The only alteration I notice is a greater self-consciousness, infused with fascination about John Boyega revealing his own emotions through this performance. Not really a chakra databank change!

Aura Reading Databank at the Throat Chakra for Verbal Integrity

Reading John Boyega’s aura as himself

3 feet. John Boyega’s aura is rife with anger and resentment. This chakra databank is an excellent illustration of this theme.

John Boyega doesn’t feel obligated to give anyone a straight answer. He feels as though people (in general) owe him for ways that he has suffered. So he will tell the truth just when it pleases him.

Possibly, he even deliberates first, “What’s in it for me?”

A tough way to live, Blog-Buddies!

Reading John Boyega’s aura as Finn

1 foot. Finn can’t trust anyone. He doesn’t feel obligated to give anyone a straight answer. Indeed, he feels as though people (in general) owe him for ways that he has suffered. So he will tell the truth just when it pleases him.

Possibly, he even deliberates first, “What’s in it for me?”

Chakra Databank Change Points: 0

Aura Reading Databank at the High Chakra for Soul Thrill (Expressing His Soul)

Reading John Boyega’s aura as himself

80 feet. Does John Boyega do what pleases him? Yes, and proud of it.

Anger drives this often, seems to me. John Boyega will decide to do something — or not do it — in reaction to what others expect of him, etc.

Usually a strong showing at this chakra databank is related to personal growth, but not always. This is one of the exceptions. Themes of pride, resentment, and self-absorption have become an art form for John Boyega. By this time in his life, anyway.

Why can a chakra databank become distored in this way? Due to patterns of accumulated STUFF, that’s all. Doesn’t mean that John Boyega is a bad person. He’s just a stuck person.

Reading John Boyega’s aura as Finn

80 feet. Finn does what is noble. This pleases him. Exactly what he ingeniously plans to do just happens to be what makes him happy. He is so right to say and do exactly what he says and does, regardless of what anyone else might think.

Chakra Databank Change Points: 0

Conclusion, with total Chakra Databank Change Points

Total Chakra Change Points:3/4

Well, it isn’t a great performance energetically. Still, John Boyega is giving it all he’s got.

And any movie performance requires so much skill technically — the lines, the “spontaneity,” the walk, taking direction, etc. Only a world-class actor can manage all that, plus change so deeply that it goes all the way down to his chakra databanks.

    Oh, yes, very interesting!

I was curious at least in part because as a major Star Wars cast member, he is sure to become a household name soon.

I wish I’d had energy to find a photo of Finn’s meeting Rey for the first time, because that was the start of a change for the character.

    Grace W says:

    Very interesting, Rose.

Along the lines of the Highly Sensitive Persons theme I brought up in another thread, it’s interesting to see the personality projection as one way Boyega deals with being an HSP male.

I wonder if that’s a common male coping mechanism with being an HSP in the Western world, which doesn’t exactly tend to make it easy for sensitive guys.

  3. 3
    Grace W says:

It’s a musing and not indirect request; what an interesting research topic it would be to research the auras of various HSP guys.

Looking forward to the upcoming readings!

  4. 4

Fascinating indeed, GRACE W. However I can tell you straight off that sending out personality projections does not correlate with sensitivity.

Instead certain people have this talent. It’s especially common among actors, models, other performers, politicians, salespeople, and sociopaths.

    Isabella C. says:

Awesome, thanks for doing this. I love these acting reviews every year.

When I opened that first picture of him, not in character, I was so surprised by how SERIOUS he looks. I’ve never seen him interviewed or anything, only in the movie, and his character seemed to have much more humor.

    Irene Kr says:

It seems like the character Boyega plays in this movie has a lot of similarities to his real-life experience of himself.

This means that he could portray this character effectively, but may mean his range is limited – he may not play other characters as effectively, or rather that all the characters he plays will seem similar.

  7. 7
    David B says:

    Thanks, Rose.
I suspected such a result. He more seemed to be playing it than being it. He did a decent job but part of the shtick for these films is overplaying it a bit.

It is usually only very experienced actors who really become their roles.

  8. 8
    Kira says:

Forgot to mention in my nomination that I’m interested in whether or not John Boyega is an empath. (Oops!)

  9. 9

KIRA, John Boyega is SO not an empath.

Yes, he is a Highly Sensitive Person, but not a Highly, Highly Sensitive Person of the empath variety.

    Thanks for asking, though.

  10. 10
    Kira says:

I suspected he isn’t, and didn’t have reason to believe his character is either, but didn’t want to miss out on the opportunity to ask. Thanks! 🙂

  11. 11
    Dana says:

It also seems to me that he was cast well, sharing some of the traits as himself that work for the character already…

  12. 12

DANA, important point, seems to me.

  13. 13
    Kira says:

Dana, I was thinking the same thing.

Typecasting exists for a reason. (It’s not necessarily a bad thing, either. It garners complaints when actors who want to stretch are continually cast as the same type, whether it be as versions of themselves or of the first characters they had hits with.)
