Mark Ruffalo Aura Reading Movie Review

Mark Ruffalo Aura Reading Movie Review

Mark Ruffalo Aura Reading Movie Review. Energetically how great was his Oscar-nominated performance?

Mark Ruffalo Aura Reading Movie Review. Sure Ruffalo was nominated for a great performance, but what did he deliver… energetically?

At our Aura Reading Movie Review of Rachel McAdams’s performance in “Spotlight,” she did the best of any actors this year who’s received the full-out energetic literacy treatment.

Was excellence alive on that set or what? Today let’s turn to another actor from that film. He was likewise nominated for a Best Supporting role: Mark Ruffalo.

And over at our Contest for Aura Reading Movie Reviews in 2016. IRENE just added the third request for researching this actor. (GRACE W set things rolling and then I added a formal vote yesterday.)

So it’s official, Mark Ruffalo has been nominated more often than anyone left on that list, since so many fascinating performers have been proposed for consideration. Here we go, woo-hoo!

For Mark Ruffalo, This Performance was Personal

In an interview with The Boston Globe, Ruffalo told the reporter:

“It really could have been me. I did go to a Catholic church [and to Catholic school]. I have friends who were abused,” he said. “So you know, that was my truth as well as [Rezendes’s] truth. It’s a universal truth.”

And the real-life character he played, Mike Renendez gave up this quote:

“I feel like the luckiest guy on the planet because the greatest actor on the planet completely nailed me.”

Mark Ruffalo? The slightly funky-looking, non-macho everyman of a certain kind? Him, “The greatest actor on the planet”?

Blog-Buddies, you might get a kick out of this goofy photo of the two of them together. And then we’ll get started. exploring whether words like “great” are really warranted.

The Film:

“Spotlight” — Blog-Buddies, as always, my exercise in energetic literacy is done strictly by doing the aura reading. “Spotlight” is a movie that I have not seen. Not even the trailer….

The Movie Trailer for “Spotlight”

Plot Summary from the Oscar’s Official Website:

In 2001, the journalists of The Boston Globe‘s Spotlight team begin investigating Father John Geoghan, who is accused of molesting more than 80 boys.

As they dig deeper and acknowledge their paper’s own failings, the team uncovers a conspiracy of lawyers and government officials who helped the Boston Archdiocese hide the pedophilia of many priests and deny justice to the victims.

Incidentally, here’s a link to the Academy Awards Official Website for nominees in 2016.

In the Nominated Role as Best Supporting Actor:

As Mike Rezendes, Mark Ruffalo plays a reporter on The Boston Globe‘s Spotlight team investigating the conspiracy surrounding sexual abuse committed by priests.

Mark Ruffalo Aura, Root Chakra Databank for Connecting to Physical Reality

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as himself

28 feet. Emotions are the key to Mark Ruffalo’s connection to life around him. The feelings flow deeply, powerfully, slowly.

In the moment of this photo, he is waving to fans. A swell of emotion emphasizes deep gratitude.

Imagine if there were a way to measure minute changes in how a person perceives physical reality: sight, smell, taste, hearing, touch. Call it a Earth-Experience-Odometer…

In moment of this photo, joy is expanding Mark Ruffalo’s physical reality. Shining it up.

Imagine further that this Earth-Experience-Odometer could compare how, at various times, Mark Ruffalo’s co-stars physically appear to him. In one emotionally fraught movie scene after another, his Earth-Experience-Odometer would show much bigger changes than  other people experience.

That’s the closest I can come to expressing the relatively fluid nature of physical reality for this actor, as I have experienced this ne of his chakra databanks.

I wonder if Mark Ruffalo even has trouble, sometimes, recognizing people from one time to the next. Not that there is anything wrong with him. He’s just wired with such a connection between the extra-intensity feelings and his perception of physical life. Fascinating man!

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as Michael Rezendes

1 foot. Tightly focused on thinking, living from his intellect. Mark Ruffalo’s character barely notices where he is or what is in the room with him.

What else? His whole relationship to time is entirely different from the actor’s deep-down neurophysiological wiring.

This isn’t a slow guy, as the real Mark Ruffalo hardwired to be with his physical system. Michael Rezendes zips along in his intellect like one of those in-such-a-hurry drivers you might avoid on the highway, weaving in and out of the lanes like crazy.

Such is this character’s sense of urgency to figure things out, in this scene, at least.

Chakra Databank Change Points

One amazing chakra change point — truly impressive!

Mark Ruffalo Aura, Belly Chakra Databank for Sex Appeal

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as himself

88 feet. And he’s not even trying.

Quality-wise, Mark Ruffalo’s sex appeal is related to his earthy zest for life. He really enjoys sex, bodies, all the normal human appetities.

Another quality to his sex appeal is exceptional self-acceptance. Mark Ruffalo likes what he likes, feels what he feels, allows himself to have a slower pacing than most people do for changing his mind or switching topics in conversation.

As a mind-body-spirit hobbyist who knows a bit about Ayurveda, I’m guessing that this man’s set of doshas emphasizes kapha, and decidedly so. Certainly his sex appeal is kapha- flavored.

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as Michael Rezendes

1/2 inch. Sexuality, including sex appeal, is extremely shut down.

In the movie, this might be happening because of the particular scene, where Michael Rezendes is focusing hard. Of it might be a way of life.

But it certain, certainly this indifference to sexuality is nothing like the warm and welcoming, natural sexiness of the actor.

Chakra Databank Change Points

One brave chakra databank change point. Why brave?

Whether the context is winning an Oscar or getting the biggest box office, guess what? The big stars tend to turn up their innate sex appeal, if anything. Regardless of the role. Because, as you may possibly have noticed, sex sells.

By contrast, Mark Ruffalo just played the character. Played him true.

Mark Ruffalo Aura, Solar Plexus Chakra Databank for Sharing Power in Relationships

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as himself

90 miles. Well, well, well — here we find the actorly ego. The man has been a B-lister for decades, a notable career in the competitive world of acting.

(How many actors are there? In Hollywood alone, there are an estimated 21, 728 actors and actresses. BTW, according to America’s Bureau of Labor Statistics, the median hourly wage for an actor in the U.S. is $19.82.)

Steady work as film actor? For decades? No wonder he’s got a little dab of diva. Perhaps quite contained to one or two chakra databanks, but there it is. Clear as day — at the subconscious level that aura reading reveals:

Mark Ruffalo doesn’t like to share power. He expects to get his way. And considering that he comes across as such a nice guy overall, that low-key quality can’t hurt one bit at disarming his opponents.

Who wuddha thunk? Blog-Buddies, for surprises nothing beats energetic literacy.

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as Michael Rezendes

6 feet. For this character, the story line must involve power struggles. I’m not just conjecturing based on the fact that drama often involves power dynamics, or that what little I know of this movie suggests that major confrontation was involved in the plot.

Nope, I’m just talkin’ chakra databank here. Michael Rezendes is learning how to stick up for himself, having to do this in ways that make him queasy-uneasy. Yet he can’t back down.

Chakra Databank Change Points

One more chakra databank change point. I find this transformation extraordinary.

As noted in my reading of Mark Ruffalo as himself, seems to me it has becoming a bit of a blind spot for him, getting used to having his way (and not knowing how adamantly he has come to protect and expect that).

Mark Ruffalo Aura, Heart Chakra Databank for Emotional Self-Awareness

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as himself

40 feet. Tender feelings, deep feelings, ambivalent feelings are all part of Mark Ruffalo’s range at the time of this aura photograph.

As for their emotional opposites these take their turns too, in very human fashion;  for instance, self-compassion alternating with self-hatred.

Most fascinating of all, to me, Mark Ruffalo has evidently improvised a coping device over the years. To my perception it shows like a rubber-like wall, about two inches thick, that keeps awareness away from all of his inner mush… unless he chooses to enter, e.g., for acting purposes.

Oh, what contrivances we human beings can create in order to function!

Note: This is one reason why, personally, I  am so thrilled to be training more and more RES apprentices every year. These so-talented people are going to offer help that addresses the fine fabrics of subconscious-level energy, helping those who feel stuck to get unstuck.

When I do aura reading research, as in today’s article, a casual reader might think, “How interesting that energetic literacy can turn up something so subtle.”

To me, the thrilling part comes next. With RES skills, we can do more than observe or describe. If somebody comes to us for emotional and/or spiritual growth, we can facilitate help just as strongly as if we RES practitioners were using a solid physical tool… like a toilet plunger.” (Laughing.)

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as Michael Rezendes

1/8 inch. Complete shutdown about emotional self-awareness.

For now. Like any chakra databank, this one can come bouncing back. Where there’s life, there’s hope for every one of your hundreds of chakra databanks.

But for Michael Rezendes at the time of this photo, his own personal feelings don’t amount to a hill of beans. And he’s got way more important matters on his mind than a few little chick peas.

Chakra Databank Change Points

One more amazing point is awarded. To go from the big-deal complexity of Mark Ruffalo’s natural state to the total emotional shutdown here, strikes me as way harder for the actor than, say, playing The Hulk.

Mark Ruffalo Aura, Throat Chakra Databank for Verbal Integrity

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as himself

6 feet of twisty, complicated self-reflection.

Golly, this is my first time thinking that Mark Ruffalo could have been a Jesuit! Have you ever seen a tree with twisty, gnarly roots? That’s like my perception of this one of his chakra databanks.

Interpretation? (And, of course, that is the part that matters. I shared my personal perception this time just to evoke a feeling.)

Seems to me, compared to most people, Mark Ruffalo has unusually high standards for telling the truth. So the twistiness isn’t about being unscrupulous but just the opposite.

When this kid was going to Catholic school, I’ll bet he learned plenty about going to confession. Those sins of omission, not just the sins of commision.

Mark Ruffalo is so exceptionally scrupulous that he can give himself a really hard time about whether or not he has been telling the truth.

Yet one more reason why that auric modeling of his makes him come across as so very human, so likeable.

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as Michael Rezendes

Out to the sky. Nothing matters more to this character than telling the truth. Especially writing the truth.

At this moment, Michael’s intellectual proclivities are animated by a kind of avenging righteousness.

Chakra Databank Change Points

One huge round of applause from this energetic literacy-style movie critic. And, of course, there’s also one chakra databank change point for amazing Mark Ruffalo.

Okay, I’ll add this, on a personal note.

Being a writer myself, I understand this character’s kind of passion. It’s a little weird. Only writers have it, and certain writers at that.

We would die for it. Only we would greatly prefer to live for it. 😉

Well, like other human beings, we know our own. Based on that, I’ve got to say, Mark Ruffalo is no writer. Most folks aren’t.

This guy? He’s got it. Uncanny accuracy to this characterization, Mr. Ruffalo!

Mark Ruffalo Aura, High Chakra Databank for Soul Thrill

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as himself

80 miles. Gratitude. That’s the strongest quality trumpeting out of this chakra databank.

Imagine, a long-time movie star is beaming out thanks to his fans!

Not posturing. Not “Does this outfit make me look fat?”

Overall Mark Ruffalo has made an exceptionally healthy, human adjustment to all his fame and wealth: 61 major acting credits, starting in 1989.

And he’s still a good guy, fundamentally decent and caring very much about his immortal soul. Those nuns who educated him ought to be proud.

Reading Mark Ruffalo’s aura as Michael Rezendes

5 feet. Although under-functioning as a chakra databank, what shows here is an exceptionally large amount of soul expression for this particular character. The quality suggests that what’s happening now represents a defining episode in his life.

Michael Rezendes isn’t used to doing what makes him happy as a person, or what makes him feel strongly alive — other than writing.

Instead it’s as though he has fallen into an interesting pattern years ago (technically, in RES lingo, what I’d call an array of subconscious “energetic subroutines”).

Somehow Michael Rezendes got the idea that thinking and writing would make him happy. That this was the sole purpose of his life. And if he could only sit quietly, preferably in an airless room… and do nothing but this, automatically he would be utterly fulfilled.

Human life brings discoveries to us all, at least if we’re willing to make them. This movie character, as played by Mark Ruffalo, is waking up in a way that his conscious mind (and subconscious habits) would not have thought possible.

Now he’s making a vibrant connection to people. Not theories about people. Not ideas to help people. But relating to real people, in their full humanity and pain.

Wow!

Chakra Databank Change Points

You bet Mark Ruffalo wins yet again: one very juicy chakra change point.

In Conclusion, with Total Chakra Databank Change Points

Such a magnificent, true, and brave inhabiting of a character’s life.

This superb actor wins 6 out of a possible 6 chakra databank change points.

For years I’ve seen Mark Ruffalo in movies and always enjoyed watching him. In “The Kids Are Alright” he even managed to make his role likeable, which was surely harder to do than it looked.

Funny thing, though. I always thought of him as a salt-of-the-earth normal guy.

(For this, partly I’ll give credit to how my Empath Empowerment skills have grown over the years, combined with really good energy hygiene. Unlike 30 years ago, when I started writing “Aura Reading Through All Your Senses,” I don’t read auras off and on all day long. Often though I’ve seen this actor in movies, never before have I done a smidgeon of energetic literacy research on him. Rose Rosetree is teachable, hooray!)

Now, having written this article, I can appreciate the deeper truth about Mark Ruffalo.

What I’ve learned today is that he is very different from my easy assumption about him, a palatable nice-guy image projected in movies through gentle expressiveness and the voice of an empath.

Mark Ruffalo, evidently, is a highly specialized human being with larger-than-life passion, especially his emotional intensity. Yet, seems to me, he has learned how to balance this with self-compassion, accepting himself as he is. And it’s this self-acceptance that makes him seem so “normal.”

If he can do this, Blog-Buddies, surely every one of us can achieve something comparable — no matter how unusual, quirky, or differently specialized we may be.

Thanks, Rose. He did a great job in the film so it’s especially interesting to hear this side of it.

Certainly a totally different portrayal than as The Hulk. Would not have associated the 2 if it hadn’t been pointed out. 🙂
