Deeper Perception Made Practical

The Presence of an UNSKILLED Empath, Completed

If you think there are lots of circles in this picture, that's a tiny amount, compared to the problems of unskilled empaths

Do you see lots of circles in this picture? That amount is TEENSY compared to how many problems an unskilled empath can suffer, detracting from personal presence.

Empath Empowerment® is quite simple to learn, one step at a time. But types of suffering that an empath can experience? These are tremendously varied.

Every single empath gift can make life really complicated, until you get empath skills.

And isn’t life today already more complicated than it has ever been in human history?

Just remember, Blog-Buddies, the story of every born empath can always have a happy ending! The trick is to learn those pretty simple skills.

Could be, the only resource you need is Book 1 in the series of Empath Empowerment® Books, “Become The Most Important Person in the Room: Your 30-Day Plan for Empath Empowerment ®.

This blog offers several ways to start learning about your empath gifts:

All this is a good start to learning effortless skills that can help you enormously. But it is only a start. Now let’s continue the survey begun with The Presence of an UNSKILLED Empath, Part 1 of 2. Today I’ll refer to our hypothetical empath as “Joe” rather than “Gladys.”

Can men be born as empaths, not just women? Haha. Oh, yes.

Type of Empath Talent #8. Animal Empath

With this kind of empath gift, Joe doesn’t just enjoy a deep kind of kinship with certain animals. As an unskilled empath she takes on loads of Imported STUFF, for instance from unhappy pets in neighborhood yards when she takes a pleasant stroll around the block.

And the animal’s energetic problems can translate into emotional and spiritual troubles for Unskilled Empath Joe.

Do non-human life forms, like dogs or cats or horses, have emotions similar to their owners? Not at all. Just ask Animal Empaths who have done dedicated techniques of Skilled Empath Merge? We sure saw the difference clearly last month when I gave the Empath Empowerment® Workshop, Level 2. Unforgettable findings from our course participants!

BTW, I’d like to put in a plug here for my next workshop, open to all — empath or non-empath alike — the Aura Reading Workshop, Level 1.

Everybody gets to start reading auras right away, and not just Stage One or Stage Two-type skills. Aha! As a participant you leap ahead to develop many skills for Stage Three Energetic Literacy! If you’re the least bit curious, details are here.

Moving into the consciousness of one or more types of animal, by doing Skilled Empath Merge, will convince you that animals really do not have the same nervous systems, spiritual wiring, or consciousness as people. Even those dogs dressed up in cute outfit, given bon-bons out of the dog dish, and called “Prince Fido.” 😉

Long story short, being unskilled as an animal empath can lead to really troubling consequences, tricky to pin down. Although that changes, of course, when you learn the easy, natural skills of Empath Empowerment®. And with that stability comes a presence with others that does Joe far more justice.

Type of Empath Talent #9. Environmental Empath

As an unskilled empath, poor Joe! His presence can be dominated by problems, seeming jumpy, fussy, neurotic… simply because he has talent as an environmental empath.

Summer vacation may not be unalloyed joy for Joe this year. Or any year. Not if he travels to places where beautiful Mother Earth is also riddled with pain.

  • Stuck sorrow at the mountains.
  • Stuck loneliness by the seaside.
  • Ancient angers stuck in the forest.

And ever hear of global warming? So not fun for Unskilled Empath Joe! However, all this can change. Joe gets good empath skills and a lifelong, hidden kind of suffering stops.

Incidentally, in case you didn’t know this yet: When an unskilled empath takes on Imported STUFF, does it help anyone else?

For an hour or two. Maybe. Then that landscape — or person’s — STUFF returns. Because there was no significant healing, not at all.

You can learn the basics about unskilled empath merge, complete with illustrations, in “Become The Most Important Person in the Room”.

For a more sophisticated explanation, check out Book 3 in the series of Empath Empowerment® Books, the expanded edition of “The Empowered Empath.”

As for Empath Joe’s presence when he’s got Environmental Empath talent without the support of developed skill?

He may look the part of a carefree tourist, vacationing away. But he’s collecting more than selfies and cute souvenirs. He’s showing up with a presence that takes on more Imported STUFF each passing day, distorting his personal experience and leaving others less than impressed.

What a shame, because that Joe is really such a great guy and he deserves to show that presence to the world.

Type of Empath Talent #10. Plant Empath

Until he is personally pushing up daisies (i.e., dead and buried in a graveyard that has been planted with lovely flowers) Unskilled Empath Joe can suffer a lot as a Plant Empath. And his presence will be diminished accordingly.

It’s one thing to do as children are often told, “Eat your vegetables.” It’s something else again to “eat” the Imported Stuff from that broccoli.

Even if it the plant was blissfully happy, plant-style, it’s entire life, there’s that moment of being cut down at harvest.

Not that pleasant, you think? Terror in that otherwise tasty vegetable… it won’t trouble most people, but Unskilled Plant Empath Joe can suffer yet more pile-on of Imported Stuff.

No repining, though! When Joe gets himself skills, he’ll just enjoy the great things about being a plant empath. And he can have a dazzling presence while puttering in his garden or hanging out with his fellow humans.

Type of Empath Talent #11. Crystal Empath

Who doesn’t love a perky diamond engagement ring? Unskilled Crystal Empath Joe. At least subconsciously Joe doesn’t adore them. Because subconsciously and energetically, Joe’s aura gets junked up on a regular basis from the Imported Stuff he receives from those perky and pricey diamond rings.

Of course, that kind of energetic distraction in life can stop. Once Joe gets himself skills of Empath Empowerment® he can take jewelry or leave it, wear it or not even think about it. And once he learns Skilled Empath Merge, Joe can have a blast, even with a photograph of a precious or semi-precious stone.

For a sense of possibility, check out this Skilled Empath Merge with the Hope Diamond.

Otherwise, of course there is hope… of a different sort… for Joe’s presence as a person. Both socially and energetically his presence will improve greatly when he isn’t being energetically junked up just because loads of people walk around wearing jewelry that may twinkle but still holds energies of sorrow, anger, disappointment and more.

Note: If you happen to have the paperback edition of “Cut Cords of Attachment,” check out the section on cleaning gemstones and crystals. One of many things I added to be of service for energy HEALING skills with RES.

And note also, when Crystal Empath Joe becomes skilled, his social presence and aura could become pretty twinkly enough to rival any fancy diamond.

Type of Empath Talent #12. Mechanical Empath

Unskilled Mechanical Empath Joe may suffer human fools gladly, but he can’t do as well with machines around him in disrepair.

In “The Empowered Empath — Expanded Edition,” you’ll find a detailed explanation of how this unusual empath gift works and why Joe can feel tense, confused, or otherwise upset… just because he’s driving in a friend’s clunker of a car or must deal with buggy software on his computer.

Suffice it to say that:

Being a Mechanical Empath is a great, useful, very fine thing… once Joe gets himself empath skills. But…

Until Joe, or any Mechanical Empath gets skills, he is likely to have a load of personal problems that he attributes to anything but the true cause, unskilled talent as a Mechanical Empath.

Imagine, being clever with machines in the unique way that Mechanical Empaths have without trying — and also having a personal presence that rocks!

Type of Empath Talent #13. Medical Empath Talent

Ironic? Sure. Unskilled Empath Joe can suffer a lot when he has Medical Empath Talent. Besides all the TMI As a Way of Life, the perpetual overload about other people’s physical ailments, an empath with Medical Empath Talent is very different from a psychic who has trained as a medical intuitive.

Medical intuitives like Carolyn Myss (formerly) or Dr. Mona Lisa Schultz (still) are the high-money earners among psychics. But like any kind of psychic, unless the training they get is impeccable, they will also suffer from TOO MUCH INFORMATION!!!!!

What makes an empath different? We empaths also get Imported STUFF. The psychics don’t.

What about psychic empaths? Oooh, if you even believe there is such a thing as a “psychic empath,” have I got some blog posts for you! Please read:

Back at Unskilled Empath Joe, as a skilled empath he can help clients a lot. He can help himself, too. But not while he’s being roiled by the highly destabilizing combo of information overload and taking on Imported STUFF from random people… probably every single day of his life.

Type of Empath Talent #14. Empath Talent with Astral Beings

Unskilled Empath Joe can really, really get messed up if he has Empath Talent with Astral Beings.

Oh, the chaos!

How come? Living now, in the Age of Awakening, there is more astral activity on earth than most times in human history. (Learn more about that in “The New Strong,” which will be published later this month!!!!)

For now, suffice it to say that it is really important for anyone with this type of empath talent to get skills. If you think it sounds like a problem, getting Imported STUFF from other humans. Or animals. Or plants. Or stones. Or machines.

That’s nothing compared to the mess that ensues with Imported STUFF that originates in astral beings.

Take It Awaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!!!!!!

That’s how many an unskilled empath feels when there is Empath Talent with Astral Beings. Only the “It” may be wrongly labeled as all sorts of things, such as:

  • “Being a psychic.” (Note: Empath Talent with Astral Beings is not the same thing as being a psychic. Or a channeler. Or a medium. Activities that a person can choose either to do or NOT.)
  • “Being a mess.” (With any type of empath talent, while unskilled, an empath may feel like “Being a mess” is “The story of my life.” Doesn’t have to be true. 🙂

As a skilled empath, Joe’s energy presence will be greatly improved. Hint: This part of our next article in this series — the part about the presence of a skilled empath who has Empath Talent with Astral Beings — you may find this the most surprising, inspiring part of the entire article.

Type of Empath Talent #15. Molecular Empath Ability

Unskilled Molecular Empath Joe is like a punching bag for the resistance to growth of other people.

Subconscious punching bag, subconscious sorrow and confusion — none of which is particularly helpful for Joe’s presence as a person. You think? 😉

If you’d like to learn more about this, check out this assortment of articles that I have written about Molecular Empath Ability:

Meanwhile, know that Personal Presence Rehab is not far off. Unskilled Molecular Empath Joe just needs to develop Empath Empowerment® and, like all the other perfectly fine folks with other types of empath talent, there can be such a difference in personal presence.

Incidentally, Molecular Empath Ability is sometimes called “Cellular Empath Ability.” Or, for short, being a Cellular Empath.

When skilled, what quiet wonders unfold in the presence of that empath. Think: More stable! Better adjusted to being human! Goodies galore!

Oh gosh, these examples are cracking me up. Giving me a horrible chuckle. What amazing descriptions.

Cannot wait for the next article.

    Rachel says:

Really great series of articles, Rose. I too think they’re very useful and yes, funny :-).

My question is about mechanical empath talent (though maybe it relates to other talents too). Presumably, if a person has their skills turned firmly off, then they will interact with machines in the same way as non empaths? i.e. no extra special information coming their way, just driving their car or using their computer as ‘normal’ people do? Is that right?

(I can’t imagine what it would be like to do a skilled empath merge with a machine :-)). If anyone here has done one and could describe it, I’d love to read about it.

  3. 3

RACHEL, I’m glad you’re enjoying these articles, and your enthusiasm is wonderful.

The next blog post is about the presence of a person with each empath gift when that gift is habitually turned OFF.

So you’re on my wavelength. And vice versa.

  4. 4

As for your request for people to share their experiences, that will have to wait until there is an official guest post at this blog.

I don’t know if all you Blog-Buddies are aware of it, but neither this blog nor my Empath Empowerment® Skills Group on Facebook is run with the philosophy of: “Reach out and share, everyone. It helps everyone.”

Common though that is. And helpful though that might be for using skills that do not involve refinement of how consciousness is used.

  5. 5

Regarding empath skills, it is far too easy for people to inadvertently add misconceptions and distortions to their account of an empath merge, distortions that can mislead empaths.

To this empath coach, all empaths (even skilled ones like you, RACHEL) are vulnerable to some extent.

It’s one thing to let people comment with their opinions and conclusions that I don’t necessarily agree with. (I only hope that every reader doesn’t think, “Let me try this, too,” just because Joe or Gladys finds a certain way of thinking about things to be helpful.

But I draw the line at posting comments here where empaths share highly personal experiences that could be confusing for others to read.

  6. 6

On the bright side, all you skilled empaths are welcome to set up a mentoring session with me for 1 1/2 hours to 2 hours (your choice), and I can teach you a skill set for doing Skilled Empath Merge as a Mechanical Empath, a Plant Empath, an Animal Empath or a Crystal Empath.

  7. 7

Let me will teach you properly — a term you may have special affection for being British, RACHEL. 😉

And then you will have the opportunity to “test drive” that new skill set under supervision.

Wouldn’t that be a lot more valuable than reading stories of people who have had just very beginner’s experiences with these techniques?

    Kira says:

I’m also looking forward to the next article!

  9. 9

Another thing you can do on your own, if you’re curious about using your gifts with Skilled Empath Merge…

Get a copy of “The Master Empath” and go through it, exploring every single technique in there.

It’s a lot. You will become a Master Empath!

I’d recommend doing that before going into the more exotic types of Skilled Empath Merge, like with a Machine.

  10. 10
    Isabella Cates says:

Loved this explanation of why sharing would not be helpful here, Rose. Utterly fascinating to me, the little-but-big distinctions here! Wow.

  11. 11

A couple of practical points apply to the invitation I’ve just offered to you skilled empaths.

If you haven’t yet had any sessions with me, have a first session. I want to get to know you. And help you.

Bring any intention you like. Even if you’re already in Enightenment, I can find ways to help you move forward!

  12. 12

Also, you’re free to make this kind of mentoring appointment with me. However, the Knower matters for all techniques of Skilled Empath Merge.

If I find a problem that would distort your experience, I reserve the right to facilitate whichever Healing Centerpiece will bring you back into better balance.

  13. 13

And just to spell things out a bit more plainly, once a session begins, you’re committed.

I’m committed and you’re committed, in terms of the session continuing.

If you go to the store to buy a 30-gallon yard waste bin (as my husband is kindly doing this afternoon for the Chief Gardener of the family), if the store doesn’t have one, that’s it.

  14. 14

By contrast, I don’t run a store. I have a professional practice in RES, with only so many appointments available every day.

Unless I choose to terminate a session (as I do, quite infrequently, with new clients whose problems lie outside my scope of work), you’re going to have the best session I can give you, even if it turns out to not be what you were expecting.

My advice? Settle in and enjoy the personal growth :-).

  15. 15
    Leo says:

    “Welcome to Rosetree Airlines!

Settle in and enjoy the personal growth :-).”

Excellent series of posts by the way, Rose. I used to hate taking the subway in New York. The trains were loud and creaky and as an unskilled mechanical empath, I was sensitive to far more than noise.

Life is super mucho mas simpler as a skilled empath. Night and day difference.

  16. 16
    Lilian says:

Ah, Leo, you’re a mechanical empath. I’m starting to understand what that might truly mean.

I see computers and software as more than inanimate objects, and talk to them a lot when I’m playing around on them for work, but that could well be my personality… I have a hard time seeing anything as truly inanimate! To me, even operating systems have personalities.

  17. 17
    Michael Anderson says:

I’m loving these articles, but still find myself confused about which empath talents I might have been born with.

As I read these descriptions I can identify with many of the unskilled attributes of each type.

Is it important to know which type(s) of empath we are? And does it become clearer over time…perhaps as we become more skilled?

  18. 18

MICHAEL, I’m so glad you’re loving these articles. 🙂

Many readers do not find it difficult to decide which empath gifts they have, expecially based on the longer descriptions in “The Empowerered Empath: Owning, Embracing and Managing Your Special Gifts.”

  19. 19

If you are not finding the clarity you would like, might I recommend a session of personal mentoring?

Otherwise, you can lower your standards for certainty and just proceed learning the other skills that I teach through my books for empaths.

    Your choice.

  20. 20

Even just having some sessions of aura healing and transformation (any intention you like, each time) can do wonders for personal clarity.

What have I found? Many a thoughtful client has habits of giving himself (or herself) a hard time over all sorts of things. What’s the underlying cause of that? STUFF.

And in RES we do have the motto, “STUFF can always, always, always be healed.”

  21. 21
    Amanda says:

As a molecular empath, oh boy do I resonate.

I have only just understood what it actually means. It’s being a catalyst for change.

A LOT of people are not going to like me, just for that!

I am going to make extra sure my skills are turned off. Because one of the ways that that subconscious punch bag feeling is going to manifest is in people not liking me, feeling I’m too tough or challenging, as well as disliking perceptiveness.

    Amanda

  22. 22
    Amanda says:

Rose, I know you have described it before and I have listened, but only with my ears. I didn’t really get it.

Now I do! I wonder why something in that post clicked for me.

    Thank you.

    Amanda

  23. 23

Maybe because you were ready, AMANDA. 🙂

  24. 24
    Kira says:

Lilian, I’m with you about seeing nothing as inanimate. And I talk to everything, too. (Bugs, trees, lamps, myself…)

  25. 25
    Michael Anderson says:

Thanks for your helpful answer Rose.

I see a mentoring session in my future, as well as more Aura Healing and Transformation sessions! Right now I’m loving “365 Ways to a Stronger You”, but will be rereading “The Empowered Empath” once I’m done.

  26. 26

MICHAEL, you are so welcome. I thought about you a lot when I wrote today’s article, too.

This one: THE NEW STRONG Will Be Published One Week from Today

  27. 27
    Irene says:

I’m especially good at making things extra difficult for myself (which is one reason I’m going to The New Strong workshop in July!).

I found that book one, Become the Most Important Person in the Room, was more effective at teaching me empath skills than The Empowered Empath.

It was less my style, but better for me to actually learn the skills. The Empowered Empath helped more after I’d done a few rounds through the first book. (Sessions also really helped 🙂 )

  28. 28
    Denise says:

    Hello everyone!

I am new to this blog, and relatively new to Rose’s system for Empath Empowerment. This series of blog posts has been very helpful in solidifying some key points for me.

  29. 29
    Denise says:

I completed the 3 recommended books for Empath empowerment several months ago (The Empowered Empath, Become the Most Important Person in The Room, and The Master Empath), and since then I have performed a few dozen skilled Empath merges, with startlingly accurate results.

  30. 30
    Denise says:

However, I am still not entirely certain about all of the Empath gifts I have.

For example, I am quite certain of a few of them (molecular, for instance, and physical oneness), yet when it comes to medical Empath talent I feel I am too biased already to determine if I have it, since I was fully trained and board-certified as a physician long before I realized I am an Empath.

  31. 31
    Denise says:

Is it possible now to distinguish whether I have medical Empath talent, since I am already supposed to be “good at my job”, so to speak?

[A question follows about something Denise has done to attempt to figure this out. Then she asks others at the blog if they have done the same thing. This portion of Denise’s comment has been edited out by the blog monitor. Why? You’ll find multiple answers in my comments that follow.]

  32. 32

Hi, DENISE. Welcome to my blog. Empath Empowerment® is definitely one of the skill sets that I teach, and this blog supports it.

I’m very glad to read about your success so far with self-study.

Here come a few points in response to your original comment.

  33. 33

DENISE, you’ll notice it is the style of this blog to have relatively short comments. This facilitates reading and also adds clarity for responding to comments.

Most regular readers here know to do this on their own. If not — as for you, as one of our newbies 🙂 — I break up comments, changing nothing else about them.

Also, on rare occasions, I do add the sort of editorial note in your Comment #32.

  34. 34

Many blogs (including ones for empaths) are communities where people try things out and share, in a sort of support group manner.

However, this can turn into a chaotic mess of people without skills teaching others. When you took courses in medical school and did your residency, you were supervised by experts, not your fellow students, right? Or perhaps you requested advice from random patients who were hanging around at the hospital? 😉 (Like blog lurkers.)

I spend a great deal of time monitoring this blog and am the only authorized teacher of Empath Empowerment. RES experts whom I have trained to a professional standard… help clients, but even they are not teachers of the six trademarked systems that I have developed so far.

  35. 35

As I see it, you have two good choices to solve your problem, as stated in your Comments #31 and 32.

You can book a session with me for personal mentoring. Then I can help you effectively.

  36. 36

This blog is not a resource where I give out the equivalent of personal sessions… no more than “Deeper Perception Made Practical” is a forum for tips and helpfully meant suggestions. These tend to NOT work well for empaths, as described in this blog post.

In fact, the idea you came up with — though logical — was edited out of your comment because, IMO, it would be worse than unproductive.

Sadly, it would detract from the skills you have learned. If you’re curious about why, I will gladly explain in detail. (In a personal session, not at my blog.)

Hint: This sort of research requires Stage 12 Energetic Literacy.

  37. 37

Your second choice, DENISE, is to simply stop worrying about whether you know all the empath gifts that you have.

When you read three of my four books for empaths, did you ever see that kind of pursuit recommended? Anywhere? Did I ever advise that you give yourself a hard time over sorting out your empath gifts?

  38. 38

The main purpose of Empath Empowerment is to have a better life. Evidently you’ve been doing that.

If you go on, as you have, to learn Skilled Empath Merge, there’s a second kind of benefit: Gaining excellent quality information. And by your account, that’s just what you’ve done.
