Which RES Resource Comes Next for Me? A Guest Post by KRISTINE

THE NEW STRONG is the latest resource in Rosetree Energy Spirituality (RES)

THE NEW STRONG is the latest resource in Rosetree Energy Spirituality (RES)

Which RES resource comes first? That’s a good question. By now there’s a whole field called Rosetree Energy Spirituality (for long) and RES (for short). All you need do is glance at the left column on this screen and you’ll see the opportunities for you. Also the problem.

So much to choose from!

Which RES resource comes next for YOU? So much is offered. RES helps people solve problems through energy READING skills, energy HEALING skills, Empath Empowerment® skills, and Enlightenment coaching. All designed to work for The Age of Awakening.

Where do I start?

Wherever appeals to you! That’s my most universal answer. But it’s the stories of different people — like KRISTINE — that show why.

Why so important to choose for yourself?

Why does this Founder of Rosetree Energy Spirituality prefer to let individual people decide which is the best way to use the various resources? Self-authority, mainly. Trusting yourself. That’s why.

KRISTINE came up with the idea of sharing her story. This was it’s such a great idea! I’m hoping that  today’s guest post will inspire some of you other Blog-Buddies to share. Which RES resources did you choose first? Which are your current favorites?’

Use the COMMENT boxes below!

Some of you Blog-Buddies may already recognize KRISTINE from her comments at “Deeper Perception Made Practical.” And maybe you’ve even seen this post, KRISTINE Moves into Enlightenment after THE NEW STRONG Workshop

Here’s fresh perspective — and yet more leadership — from KRISTINE. It includes RES books, personal sessions, and RES workshops — all of which you can learn more about at the official Rose Rosetree website.

RES Workshops Have Been a Great Resource for Me

You can take any of Rose’s workshops as they are offered. The only current prerequisites I know of are that you have to take a Level 1 to take a Level 2 workshop (or gain the skills through personal mentoring.)

My particular path of learning the specialties within RES has gone in this order:

  1. Spiritual Cleansing and Protection (Energy HEALING Skills)
  2. Aura Reading Level 1  (Energy READING Skills)
  3. Empath Empowerment Level 1 (Empath Empowerment® skills)
  4. Aura Reading Level 2  (Energy READING Skills)
  5. The New Strong  (Energy HEALING Skills)
  6. Cut Cords of Attachment Level 1  (Energy HEALING Skills)

In my experience, this sequence couldn’t have been much better.

It Wasn’t Exactly Planned This Way, Though

My first RES resource was the Pathways Natural Living Expo, which is in the DC Metropolitan area.

(It’s also coming up again very soon…September 25, 2016.  I’m very glad and thankful to now have an opportunity to volunteer at that very Expo.)

I bought a book at the Expo, “Read People Deeper.”

There were a few copies remaining of an audiobook version of “Empowered by Empathy,” Rose Rosetree’s first book for empaths.

She wasn’t selling it any more, but offered a complimentary copy with the purchase of one of her current books.

Rose considers “Empowered by Empathy” outdated. When published, this was the first book for empaths in the English language. Since then, as an empath coach, this specialty has progressed a great deal. Specificially some aspects of it are not helpful in The Age of Awakening. Currently, Rose only sells a series of four books that are more state-of-the-art  RES resources for empaths.

Even so, that RES resource for empaths excited me. As I listened to the audiobook, I learned “The why’s behind the what’s” for things I’d been doing.

Problems I had been dealing with for so long… And here was a resource for solving those problems!

That particular RES resource is no longer available. Still, it helped me so much. Rose gave language to a way of being that I didn’t know had a name. It is called being an “empath”!

These Books Led Me to an RES Workshop-Type Resource

By now I was thinking:

“Well, if this Rose Rosetree can teach me so much about myself without knowing me, I have to find out what else she knows.”

So I decided to take the next available workshop…and it didn’t matter to me what it was.

Taking the “Spiritual Cleansing and Protection Workshop” was like being dunked in the deep end… of what? Waters I didn’t even know existed.

Yet somehow I just went with it and still stayed afloat.

Although it was a very easy workshop, I was completely new to this type of teaching and the terms!  “What in the world is she talking about?”  At the same time I wanted to know more.  And more did I learn.

[Note from Rose: This workshop IS the easiest one for beginners. Yet powerful. In case you’re interested, it is the last in-person workshop I will be offering in 2016. So take a look!]

Energetic Literacy Skills Became My Next RES Resource

Some months passed and I took my next workshop.

By this time, I had some experience with the RES resource for energy READING skills. Thanks to Rose’s how-to book that combines reading body language + aura reading + face reading:  “Read People Deeper.”

So I went for an RES resource to get more of that energetic literacy.

Aura Reading Workshop Level 1 was absolutely awesome.  This RES Resource gave me a big leap ahead with my developing skills.

I would call this kind of coaching from Rose:

Learning how to do something I really wanted to do

without knowing there was a name and skill for such a thing.

There is. And it is called “aura reading!”

Another Kind of RES Resource that Awakened Me

By this point, I really wanted to know what else this woman could do. So next came a personal session.

RES resources for personal sessions include either aura healing sessions or aura reading sessions. All the RES experts do these. In addition, Rose offers sessions of mentoring, where she can teach you any of the skill sets in her workshops.

First, I chose an RES aura reading session…then one for aura healing.

She told me some things about myself AGAIN that I didn’t know.

I’m giggling with laughter as I type these words. It can be so validating to have someone give language to things that you do or ways that are unique about you.

  • With these new discoveries, I have had times of “Hmm.” As if to ponder this new information and let it soak in.
  • But then there were also quite a few times of “Huh, what the hell does that mean?”

Not in a bad way, I just didn’t have the understanding yet to get what Rose meant.

How RES Resources Help me Deal with the HUHs

When that happens, I tend to take the approach to do a little research on my own, like:

  • Going to the blog, then using the SEARCH box to find old blog posts.
  • At this blog, at any post, I can also ask questions of general interest. Rose answers them, at her discretion, as time allows.
  • Or I can go to one of Rose’s books. Every one has an index. Actually, several have multiple indexes. All are designed to help readers fill in the blanks.
  • Of course Rose will answer my questions during personal sessions, if asked. Only that’s just not how prefer to use session time. There’s so much more to do.

So I make notes as I go and then also do my own research, whenever possible.

When I have questions,  this combination helps a lot. Besides reflecting in these ways I’ve mentioned, sometimes I just look over my notes.

My Own Notes Become Another Great RES Resource

In workshops, Rose always explains how taking notes can help. She encourages us to note our Aha!s as we go.

Besides that, in all her workshops or personal Days of Mentoring, Rose furnishes loads of worksheets and handouts for making notes. She organizes the learning. And then it’s easy for me to personalize the learning.

I’ve realized, note taking doesn’t just have to be for RES workshops.

As I’ve re-read notes, I’m often able to get it.

I think this is what happens with integration of powerful knowledge.

Understanding matters. In addition, the meaning sinks in through living and doing.

More RES Resources for Empaths Have Helped Me Too

What else? I’m an empath.  Great, we learned all about that a few paragraphs ago. 😉

By now, I also have the book “Become the Most Important Person in the Room: Your 30-Day Plan for Empath Empowerment.”

Thanks to reading that book, I made way more progress with empath skills.  This is the first in Rose’s current series of Empath Empowerment Books. The premise is that unskilled empaths often have the habit of making everybody but themselves more important. It isn’t arrogant to make yourself the most important person in the room. That’s only right.

To progress further, I decided to take her “Empath Empowerment Workshop, Level 1.”

Well, when Rose says her workshops can move you forward by at least 6 months, it is really so.

I not only became the most important person in the room, I became way more effective in life.

And Speaking of Moving Ahead in Life…

Another RES resource has helped me with success and prosperity.

I’m talking about Rose’s book Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy: 10 Secrets for Success and Prosperity in the Third Millennium.”

Although anyone can read that book and gain a lot from it, what else? This RES resource is especially nice after you have aura reading skills and Empath Empowerment skills.

In my opinion, it’s great to use the Magnetize Money Profile approach from that book… on top of all the resources for “Energetic Workarounds” plus the techniques for goal setting plus all that counter-culture info about what really makes money versus what only sounds good. In short, this self-help book offers some really solid, practical advice on how to move forward in life.

But that RES resource takes on new life when you’ve already developed other RES skills.

  • Using that Magnetize Money Profile approach and then adding your own aura reading skills, wow! You can start to research specific chakra databanks of your own. Parts of your aura that are directly related to making more money!
  • Sometimes us empaths can have some suffering that occurs from having our empath gifts turned on.  But that can be healed and skills can surely be learned to develop the habits of a skilled empath. You can get the habit of automatically keeping all your empath gifts turned OFF. When that happens, that’s called being a “skilled empath”!
  • Reading Rose’s book about success, after becoming a skilled empath, helped me to have so many Aha!s about what I had started doing differently.

I Feel Like I Struck Gold

Growing skills at aura reading, combined with empath skills, took Rose’s recommendations to a whole new level.

And the more I use any one of the RES resources, the better the other ones work.

Rose has said that she never meant to become “The Founder of Rosetree Energy Spirituality.” Instead she just wrote one book at a time, or developed a workshop. She kept doing sessions, to keep it real. Eventually enough pieces fit together to become a body of work, a system.

I’m finding something similar. By using whichever RES resource appeals to me, I’m getting my own version of the pieces fitting together.

And I’m doing it my way, with that kind of self-authority Rose encourages.

She offers resources. But it’s my life. So I put it all together the way that works for me.

As someone who is committed to personal growth, I feel like I struck gold when I found Rose.

Which RES Resource Comes Next for Me Now?

Most recently, I graduated from “The New Strong Workshop” and then “Cut Cords of Attachment Workshop, Level 1.”  Each with fantastic results!

By now, I’m aiming to become an apprentice in The Mentoring Program for Rosetree Energy Spirituality. Only one requirement remains before I apply.

This is such a neat guest post, KRISTINE! I might have to create a similar one when I progress a little further along. I’m proud to have connected with you at 3 of those workshops in person—getting to know what a wonderful person you are!

  2. 2
    AJ says:

What I love about RES is that everybody is so committed to their personal and spiritual development—and not in a glamorous way, either! Nothing about this is flashy, but it works! That’s the benefit of co-creating with the Divine.

  3. 3
    Kylie says:

Wonderful post Kristine! I feel very lucky to have met you at Rose’s workshops. I think you are going to be a fantastic RES professional.

  4. 4
    Brianne says:

Kristine, what a great post! It’s so neat to see your journey through RES, how any order is a good order, and each set of skills is effective independently. (Though there’s so much benefit to knowing more than one).

And we get to exercise our self-authority to use it in our own lives in the way that is effective for us individually.

  5. 5
    Brianne says:

I especially like the do-it-yourself research tips. There’s so much we can figure out for ourselves and then save that precious session time for the really big things. 😀

    Jane says:

Aha! …this is great to read. And definitely helps clarify a load of – vague questions (as yet un-formed, but growing questions…) ..about how to keep growing & moving forward, and making the best of RES resources.

And, Yes! – of course – self-authority and trusting oneself is key – this is what I’m hearing from your post.

Lovely to hear your story. Thanks for sharing.

    Kristine says:

AJ, Kylie, and Brianne – THANK YOU! I’m so appreciative of your comments. 🙂

AJ – I love what you say in comment #2 – about the commitment to personal and spiritual development “and not in a glamorous way”.

There’s almost a sense of humility that comes with growth in this way. It’s so personalized and quite special to co-create with the Divine.

    Kristine says:

Kylie – So sweet! Thank you for your vote of confidence!

    Kristine says:

Brianne – Yes, “any order is a good order”!

    Kristine says:

What I find fun is that we all can come from different paths and can pace ourselves using our self-authority and still get the goodies that come…including meeting others along the way.

I must say that is one of the bonuses of the workshops 🙂

    Kristine says:

Rose, thank you for your introduction to this blog post and highlights and edits along the way.

A little technique time was spent this morning looking at my gift for Leadership and the “business end” – how I’m doing now. And later I saw this blog post live. An act of leadership? I didn’t think of it that way – but it surely fits in with today’s discoveries.

  12. 12
    Kristine says:

Jane, thank you. You said it nicely in your words in comment 6 “self-authority and trusting oneself is key.” That can be a bit tricky initially, but I think that’s where the pacing comes in. Do what you feel comfortable with until you decide it’s time for something more.

And the support is there for guidance along the way. You’re not left out there to figure it all out on your own which is nice. 🙂

    Kira says:

Great post! I definitely relate to the feeling of pieces fitting together as you do it your own way.

Part of me wants to progress faster, but I think that’s only because I’ve never suffered fatigue before and I am not at all used to being told by my body that I can’t do all the things I want to be doing. It applies to every area of my life, not just RES.

  14. 14
    Kristine says:

Kira, thanks for your comment 13. It’s nice how you can do it your own way too.

I think now I can sort out priorities much better. It doesn’t take away the want to do more…as you say “I can’t do all the things I want to be doing” is something important I had to learn.

    Isabella Cates says:

Awesome guest post, Kristine, thanks for writing. 🙂

You definitely have your own distinctive way of approaching RES, and will have your distinctive way of helping with RES, which is something I love noticing when spending time with other RES people!!

  16. 16

ISABELLA CATES, that observation is very meaningful to me.

It is important to me that RES helps individuals to be themeselves more.

That our approach to Enlightenment does the same. Which includes how Householder Enlightenment does NOT involve losing attachments to one’s human, very individual, life and path in life.

  17. 17

One of my specialties as Rose Rosetree, an individual RES practitioner, is helping people to come back from cult involvement, moving out one bit of STUFF at a time, one Healing Centerpiece at a time.

Any of you reading this, who ever have been in a cult, know that just the opposite happens with deeper involvement as occurs with RES.

  18. 18

In a cult, members become more and more alike. Nearly interchangeable in how they speak. And dress. And facial expressions.

Sometimes even the sound to their vocal patterns.

  19. 19

In Rosetree Energy Spirituality (RES) individuality shines. It shines brighter and clearer as people have less STUFF, a stronger soul expression.

Those of us who have learned skills from RES workshops — each of us can use those skills in our own way, very true to every technical part, yet adding our own distinctive wisdom.

Yes, this point you’ve made, ISABELLA CATES, is very meaningful to me. And perhaps to some of you other Blog-Buddies, too.

    Julie says:

I feel the same way, Kristine, like I struck gold by finding Rose and her work.

Also by finding out about soul thrill and choices that are the equivalent of striking gold.

  21. 21
    Julie says:

On this, what is the First Day of School here for so many, I am glad to have this place to learn.

To keep learning as an adult. To keep striking gold.

  22. 22
    Isabella Cates says:

Oh, good, Rose, it’s so true.

This also shows up in how some people come and go from involvement with RES.

There’s no commitment required. Some of us do find that it’s something we continue to want to commit to, but that’s for personal reasons. Level of involvement and role to play is a decision each person makes on their own.

  23. 23
    Isabella Cates says:

I think I’d be pretty miserable if we all (RES practitioners and apprentices, or people on the Enlightenment Life List, etc) turned out the same.

I do want to have my own career, my own distinctive life, etc. If it was all cookie cutter I might get pretty jealous that anyone else existed. Which would be a pretty terrible way to live, and I would have given up on RES a long time ago!

Instead it’s fun to watch my RES friends come into their own, and see my own life and career take it’s unique shape.

  24. 24
    Kristine says:

These last few comments really bring to light how unique everyone is who chooses to learn more in RES.

No one is “just like” anyone else. Everyone’s kindness or humor or sweetness or quirkiness or (fill in the blank) is simply unique. There is no need to be anything other than who you are.

  25. 25
    Jane says:

Thank you Kristine ..comment #10.. ..I wish had found Rose & her work much sooner.. ..and I am learning so much from all the different voices I hear at this blog. It is empowering, liberating and heartwarming to witness so much self-authority expressed so clearly and uniquely.

  26. 26
    Jane says:

I know that RES is available for everyone.. ..but, for me – as an empath – I can not put into words how vital this has been for me.

  27. 27
    Jane says:

GOLD – ! That is exactly how I felt & still do.

  28. 28
    Kristine says:

Julie…yes! Soul thrill! And your comment 21 is so meaningful…to keep learning and keep striking gold.

  29. 29
    Kristine says:

Thank you, Isabella! This really stood out to me “I do want to have my own career, my own distinctive life…” Wow, it seems like a simple want but to get to a place of not wanting to copy the “norm” is a sign of growth for me.

  30. 30
    David B says:

Thanks, Kristine! Wonderful summary and great you’re close enough to take lots of workshops.

For myself, when I became aware of Rose’s work, I made a list of her then-available books and tried to organize them into a sequence to work through.

  31. 31
    David B says:

I started with Aura Reading, partly because it seemed starting with Reading made sense, but also because I found a copy in a local bookstore.

But after reading a couple of her Reading books, I got to an empath book. That one has had the biggest impact.

  32. 32
    David B says:

In retrospect, I feel that if you’re an empath, that may be where you should start. On the other hand, it was useful to get a sense of Rose’s work by reading Aura Reading and her blog for a bit.

But it wouldn’t be something I’d wait on. While Healing skills are great, they’ll be less valuable if we’re busy vacuuming up others debris via unskilled empath merges.

  33. 33

All these comments are so wonderful, gee.

I’d like to give a special shout-out to LILIAN for those sound-oriented comments. They tickle my hearing in such a delightful way. 🙂

  34. 34
    Kylie says:

All of these comments are wonderful.

It is amazing how RES brings out our individuality, it doesn’t turn us into clones.

I love the metaphor of finding RES as striking gold. So true!

  35. 35
    Kylie says:

In thinking about the order that I approached RES, I feel the most important thing for me was having personal sessions with Rose prior to reading the books.

Removing astral debris and removing stuff that got in the way of turning my empath gifts off, was essential to getting results from the books.

  36. 36
    Dylan says:

I’ve been having RES sessions of aura healing. This is my news.

I just got home from the doctor. I had my yearly physical (and I go quarterly for checkups).

My blood pressure has been 142/80 for about 6 months. My doctor told me it was the stress and anxiety.

I went there today and she looked at me and said “you look great!” and my blood pressure is a super healthy 118/64. That’s the healthiest she’s ever seen it on me.

I realize RES doesn’t promise health improvement, but it sure made a difference!

  37. 37
    Kristine says:

David B, “vacuuming up others debris” is definitely not missed, although I didn’t look at it that way back then. I “thought” I was being helpful and I just didn’t know any better. 🙂

It’s neat to see how David B made his own plan with the books and Kylie with personal sessions. Since we all have different needs, learn in different ways, live in different areas, etc. it’s great to have these options.

  38. 38
    Kristine says:

That’s great news, Dylan. I’ve noticed that sessions can prompt making different choices which lead to a more enjoyable life. Sometimes it’s subtle and I realize “oh, I’m not doing that anymore.” Maybe others notice that too.

  39. 39
    Kylie says:

Congratulations Dylan! I have also had health improvement from RES sessions.

Maybe directly a result, maybe as a result of different choices. Some of both I think.

  40. 40
    Kylie says:

For example, my sleep improved so much–I think that’s a direct result of having less stuff.

Sleeping well improves health a lot, all by itself.

  41. 41
    Kylie says:

Then there’s the fact that I changed my diet because of an RES research session.

[Blog Monitor’s Note: There are many kinds of energy READING sessions. Here, I think, KYLIE is referring to Thrill Your Soul Aura Guidance.]

  42. 42
    Kylie says:

My eyesight has been better the past two times I went to the eyedoctor–I think that could be the result of diet change.

I no longer have the digestive issues I used to. I’m not sure why.

  43. 43
    Kylie says:

And not being an unskilled empath means that I no longer suffer other people’s health problems along with them–so that’s a huge impact on health.

  44. 44
    Kylie says:

And then I think there is the fact that because I pay attention 20 minutes a day to how I’m doing on all levels–during technique time–I catch a lot of issues before they become issues.

  45. 45
    Kylie says:

Like noticing I’m overworking or pushing myself too hard–and then correcting that.

And also, like Kristine says, just making choices that leads to a more enjoyable life is a huge benefit to health.

  46. 46
    Kristine says:

Kylie, I just got something in a new way with comment 44! Just paying attention in those few minutes can be preventative. It’s worth it to invest the time for many reasons.

  47. 47
    Kylie says:

It’s true, isn’t it? It’s like an automatic course correction system. Worth it for so many reasons.
