BEV UPSHUR is the latest addition to my Enlightenment Life List. BEV has also gone onto the separate list I maintain for people from this community who have moved into that higher state of consciousness. In her honor, today’s article explores how my Enlightenment Coaching DOES and DOESN’T work.
Whether you call it Householder Enlightenment, spiritual awakening (as an established state of consciousness), Self-Realization, or psychological self-actualization…
This state of consciousness is dawning now. In fact, here’s my favorite way of describing The Age of Awakening:
Now we live in a time when millions of people can move into Enlightenment. And do it as householders!
To describe how Enlightenment Coaching works, I’ll give you three stories.
1. What Enlightenment Coaching Is NOT
Earlier this year, my occasional client Joe emailed me that he thought he had moved into Enlightenment.
I wrote back, congratulating him on doing so well and encouraging him to set up a session. That way he could have proper Enlightenment Coaching.
Joe didn’t email back.
Why not? It wasn’t about the money, since Joe has had plenty of sessions with me. Financially, he’s sitting pretty. Or handsome. 😉
But perhaps he didn’t know…
Enlightenment Coaching Works Best with Respect
It’s plain good manners to respond to an email like the one I sent to Joe.
Granted, this Enlightenment Coach doesn’t wear white silk clothing and demand that people bow before her. However, everyday courtesy and, even, respect for an Enlightenment Coach…. This would be just plain smart. It helps a seeker of Enlightenment to grow faster than otherwise.
Besides, how hard would it have been for Joe to use everyday good manners? For instance:
- “Actually, I don’t think that I have moved into Enlightenment. I’ll set up another session when I’m ready to take another step in my personal growth. Thanks for being available to help, and for taking the time to answer my email.”
- “I’m reluctant to receive Enlightenment Coaching. Only I’d rather just think of myself as Enlightened. You might tell me otherwise. Thanks, though, for your response to my email. “
Maybe a Taboo Topic? The Role of Respect in Enlightenment Coaching
This Enlightenment Coach always does her best to treat Enlightenment seekers with respect, even when they forget their manners. Nonetheless, she doesn’t like being treated rudely.
Maybe people don’t know what is appropriate (and what isn’t) for this kind of post-postmodern relationship. Some recipients of my Enlightenment Coaching have, evidently, been shocked because:
- I didn’t speak slowly and blissfully.
- After the session, I was not available to respond to emails. (For time management reasons, I have had to develop a policy about that. So I don’t become e-pen-pals with Enlightenment Coaching clients. Or with the many emailers who seek free advice. Nor with the rather large number of emailers who demand aura readings or empath coaching due to their being special, etc.)
- I didn’t tell them, “Wow, how very special you are. And, of course, YES, you are in Enlightement.”
2. How Enlightenment Coaching Is More Than YES or NO
Blog-Buddies, does your main idea of my Enlightenment Coaching come from reading the Enlightenment Life List?
Very possible! However, this blog’s most popular post is not a service to help an individual to evolve faster. Instead I’m providing a consumer service. Admittedly the List didn’t begin that way. Instead, I wanted to share my admiration for people who had attained Enlightenment.
Most noteworthy, though, what happens these days? The short aura readings I provide for Enlightenment nominees do have a consumer flavor. Consider:
- How many people in Enlightenment are listed on my Enlightenment Life List? 245, including the newest addition, BEV.
- How many people have been nominated for the Enlightenment Life List? This post lists all the nominees, arranged alphabetically: 642.
- Incidentally, I’d like to acknowledge ISABELLA CATES for her volunteer work. Years ago, she helped me sort out the overwhelming number of posts at the original blog post. ISABELLA put together the first alphabetical list. Golly, that happened so long before she moved into Enlightenment. It was even before her Name Alignment Research, back when she was JORDAN!
Surprises for the Enlightenment Coach, Too
Altogether, there have been many surprises for me, as well as for readers. This began with my first blog post related to Enlightenment Coaching.
Shockingly, many Enlightenment Coaches, or spiritual teachers, have been proposed for the Enlightenment Life List. Including public figures who promoted themselves as living in Enlightenment. Only, oops!
What happens, usually, with these nominees? Not being in Enlightenment clearly shows. When I simply read their auras with Stage Three Energetic Literacy, hello!
Everyday aura reading from photos — that isn’t such a big deal, right? Reading auras is like regular word literacy, easily available to anyone who lives now in this Age of Awakening!
As my work has developed over the decades, one of my jobs has become Enlightenment Coaching. Another has been helping folks become more savvy Post-New-Age Consumers! Including discernment about those who claim to live in Enlightenment — and, sadly, don’t.
My colleague DAVID BUCKLAND sometimes offers this sort of discernment as well. As in this recent article, “A Case Study.” I don’t think he enjoys this aspect of Enlightenment Coaching any more than I do. Back in the day, both of us studied with Maharishi Mahesh Yogi. He found a need to do it too.
Enlightenment is too important for coaching people by saying, “Yes, dear,” and then smiling sweetly. Enlightenment matters! And it doesn’t just happen. At least if you prefer Enlightenment to dawn sooner, rather than later.
#2 Expanded. Now for the Related Story about Enlightenment Coaching
Now for our second story. Mr. Gladys set up an appointment. Ostensibly, it was for Aura Reading Research, not Enlightenment Coaching. Mr. Gladys was about to start a new business and wanted to research it.
Although Mr. Gladys hadn’t had a session with me for about eight years, somehow, he felt my input would be useful.
Sigh! (Literally, I just sighed, here at my keyboard. I love that Mr. Gladys.)
Sigh! Useful that input turned out to be. Despite not being what Mr. Gladys expected.
Long story short, Mr. Gladys had gone through a powerful experience of spiritual awakening. Lovely!
Unfortunately, he was having a very hard time integrating this. Thus, he had cycled pretty far into spiritual addiction.
Gently as possible, I described what was out of whack. Then I gave Mr. Gladys instructions for getting himself back into whack.
One of the Best Ways an Enlightenment Coach Helps People Is to Give Detailed Feedback
While coaching Mr. Gladys, what did I point out? When folks get that far into spiritual addiction, they will often do this:
- Quit their regular job. Seemingly, “Isn’t spiritual enough.”
- Begin to develop a “very important service,” one with great spiritual energy around it.
- Believe they will make loads of money from building a business around this service.
Mr. Gladys was wise enough to get research about that exciting and important new business he was considering. At this point in our session, it dawned on me… Mr. Gladys wasn’t even going to tell me what his (formerly) exciting new business venture was going to be.
Sigh again! That was okay.
In short, Mr. Gladys’s session didn’t just give him useful research information. This was an example of a session with Enlightenment Coaching in the background (which is how I do most of my Enlightenment Coaching).
About building a business based on spiritual addiction, you can learn a lot about the terrible reality checks that people receive when they believe that desire equals profitability. Check out this extensively researched book on how spiritually-oriented people can really make money.
3. Enlightenment Coaching When a Client Has Reached Householder Enlightenment
Unlike what I do on my consumer-oriented Enlightenment Life List, is my in-session Enlightenment Coaching a matter of Yes or No?
Hardly! Although sometimes a client does ask, “Have I moved into Enlightenment, yes or no?”
Even when the answer is no, I’ll give the client useful feedback. That includes information designed to help that particular client to progress faster.
Does it make sense to you? This kind of Enlightenment Coaching is a very individual dialog. Altogether different from the yes-or-no response that I give on the Enlightenment Life List.
How Enlightenment Coaching Is Personal
You know, Blog-Buddies, it’s one thing to read an article like this one, about how Awakening is not Enlightenment. Quite different is learning what’s happening in your own personal chakra databanks right now.
What’s happening aurically as you attempt to integrate the experience of spiritual awakening? Enlightenment Coaching reveals the juicy details.
Also available for those who are curious about validating their sacred transformations: I can pull out an energetic hologram (Stage 13 Energetic Literacy). Systematically, I’ll research what, exactly, was going on with you energetically? What happened to various chakra databanks during one — or more — awakening experiences?
Finally, what if my client is curious about the impact of spiritual practices, like one type of meditation versus another? Sure I can help. Just recently I included that as part of a client’s Enlightenment Coaching session.
My client, Josephine, wanted to know. Easy-peasy.
Shocking news to her. Yet believable. And very helpful.
#3. Expanded. Including Today’s Final Story of Enlightenment Coaching
Receiving help from an Enlightenment Coach could be a great reason for someone like Joe (mentioned at the start of this article) who follows through with a personal session. Or for a client like Josephine, whose sweet-sounding meditation retreat… actually junked up her aura.
(Of course we have that motto in Rosetree Energy Spirituality, RES, “STUFF can always, always, always be healed.” And a bit of energy HEALING can be included in Enlightenment Coaching, as appropriate.)
Sometimes, though, my client has crossed the threshold into Enlightenment. This happened in my session last Friday with BEV. Her story is quite simple.
I’ve known BEV for a short time, less than a year. Her first session with me was January 2016. In May, she came to one of my Empath Empowerment workshops.
Like many of those who do sessions or mentoring or workshops in RES, any reason was fine! My job is to help.
The whole notion of Enlightenment wasn’t even on BEV’s radar screen, far as I know. Neither Householder Enlightenment nor the Surrender Model of Enlightenment. Rather, she came to me for an entirely different reason: The Empath Coaching part of RES.
When Did Bev’s Enlightenment Coaching Begin?
You’ve heard of love at first sight, right? When I did the first Skilled Empath Merge with BEV, I could tell that she was very close to Enlightenment. Knew it at first sight.
Okay, given my gifts, not sight! Loads of detail were in that Skilled Empath Merge, just not especially sight.
BEV has had very few encounters with me, actually, in either sessions or workshops.
Early in that recent session with BEV, I did a Skilled Empath Merge (routine for just about any type of RES session). Immediately I found Enlightenment. Finally.
I write finally because BEV had been so close for a long time.
Incidentally, any session when I find Enlightenment, I’ll drop everything to proceed with validation. What kind of validation?
In order to do a responsible job with BEV, I wasn’t just going to blurt out, “Enlightement!” Rather, I went through a multi-part aura reading, done in a particular way. I call this “Enlightenment Validation.”
Following that, BEV’s Enlightenment Coaching included perspective on how our last session together had accelerated her progress towards Enlightenment.
Also, we discussed what Enlightenment really is. And how the Householder model of Enlightenment differs from the far-better-known version that I call “The Surrender Model of Enlightenment.”
BEV had many questions. For her to move forward, it was helpful that she could ask them and receive answers.
Enlightenment Coaching isn’t some glorious personal achievement for Rose Rosetree. Or any Enlightenment coach. Enlightenment simply is.
Those of us with the skills to help — we simply enjoy the magnificent privilege of helping.
So That’s Enlightenment Coaching. Questions, anyone?
Oh yes. Here’s a link to an article at my website about the sort of Enlightenment Coaching I offer. Maybe that will prove helpful, too.
And here’s a wonderful insight from BEV herself. After today’s post went live, we had some discussion via email. She wrote me:
“I think it is important for people to know your teaching and healing
can help move out STUFF and pave the way to Enlightenment
when someone doesn’t even know they are on the Enlightenment path.”
Both important and true! Every person on earth is making progress towards Enlightenment. So much growth can happen before a person develops any interest in RES whatsoever.
When I read somebody’s aura or do a Skilled Empath Merge, I’m reading who that person is now. Right down to the chakra databanks!
So I help as best I can, encouraging a bit of emphasis here or there. Or helping soul expression to get a very simple orientation: “Me. In my funny animal body. I am having this life as a householder.”
Of all the skill sets in RES, nothing is more personal than helping a person to move towards Enlightenment.
