Deeper Perception Made Practical

Post-New-Age Tips. For Steadier Personal Growth in The Age of Awakening

Post-New-Age Tips

Post-New-Age tips for Beth. And others who are still living New Age.

Post-New-Age tips in this article can help you. Might I suggest? For personal growth, you can do better than New Age concepts and practices. Because now we’re living in The Age of Awakening. When you keep up with the times, that can make you a leader!

Blog-Buddy BETH started me thinking about Post-New-Age versus NOW. Thanks to her heartfelt and generously-detailed contest entry. I’ll be quoting from this throughout this multi-part post, which she inspired. BETH has agreed, via email, to receive this article for assistance on her personal path. Rather than be considered for the three contest prizes.

Why offer this alternative? Because I thought it would help her more. Actually, it may help a lot of you Blog-Buddies! And perhaps you may also think of some friends who would find today’s article helpful. In which case, please share today’s post.

Do you know any seekers of personal growth who are feeling stuck?

Maybe they’re frustrated, spinning their wheels when they could move forward at the speed they deserve.

On A Practical Note

  • Are you interested in entering that Empath Merge Contest about Creativity? Good news! Since you can enter through April 2, 2017. And you just might win a prize worth $150.
  • Meanwhile, join me here as I compare two contrasting perspectives on personal growth: New Age and Post-New-Age.

And now comes a burning question…

Pregnant, Anyone?

Gee, guys, if your answer is yes… I’ll be especially impressed.

Seriously, I’m going to use a pregnancy analogy to bring context to these practical Post-New-Age Tips.

If you’ve been pregnant recently, chances are you have read a perennial bestseller, What to Expect When You’re Expecting.” Just as you’d think from that title, this book guides you through pregnancy, preparing you to have a baby.

Reminds me of New Age practices, dating from the years between 1980 and Dec. 21, 2012. While the psychic barrier was thinning faster and faster, certain understandings and practices were part of our collective growth. Together we were preparing to birth this new age.

Since then, our new age has dawned. Given that The Age of Awakening has begun, it’s no longer so helpful to keep re-reading the equivalent “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.” Parenting books are appropriate now. And, in terms of this analogy, might I recommend “The New Strong”? Which gives you the memo that none of us got at the time. Plus a bit more.

Incidentally, if you’re wondering where to start with my books, that’s the one I’d recommend now. Because it’s so very important to upgrade old understandings and practices. You can easily learn to adapt to The Age of Awakening.

Still, let’s be clear. I don’t write this blog to pressure anybody to buy my books. They’re helpful if you want to grow a whole lot faster in the ways that I can help you with Rosetree Energy Spirituality (RES). Probably many of you lurkers just sample this blog, as part of your self-directed exploration. That’s as much as you want, just a taste. Up to you! You’re in charge of your life; I’m just supplying resources.

Meanwhile, analogy over.

Now Let’s Begin the Post-New-Age Tips

Here’s how I’ll help you compare old and new — by using this sequence:

  1. A quote from BETH.
  2. “Classic New Age” — how this fits into New Age teachings.  Seems to me, BETH’s spiritual seeking during the New Age years has resulted in certain ways of thinking. I’ll call out the pattern. (With all respect to you, BETH. Rather than aiming to “explain” the personal mysteries of how you have thought, I’m using these ideas to educate all you Blog-Buddies into certain ways of thinking that went mainstream during the New Age years. Useful then. Maybe no longer so helpful.)
  3. Perspective from The New Strong, a Post-New-Age perspective or tip. Which just might be helpful for you Blog-Buddies to consider.

Post-New-Age Tips #1: Seeking Sacred Purpose

BETH’s Quote

I wanted to go ‘home’, but never sure where that was.  I spent a lot of time out of my body and remember having trouble fitting back into my body, especially my eyes, they just wouldn’t go back into the sockets properly.  [… And] I knew even back then I was here to do something, but couldn’t get a grasp on it.

Classic New Age

“Why am I here?” has a very important answer: You have a sacred purpose.

All those spiritual longings direct you to find your special purpose. Finding this will bring meaning to your life.

Either go on a spiritual quest to discover your purpose or get psychic readings (e.g., Through consulting with your spirit guides, angel cards, channeling, or other New Age resources.)

Small technical point related to the aforementioned Contest. RES does not include psychic readings.

Neither Skilled Empath Merge nor aura reading nor face reading is done as a psychic reading. (Links just supplied here can help you understand the difference.)

Your Post-New-Age Tip

As a human, it makes sense to feel homesick for heaven. Yet this Enlightenment Coach aims to help you adjust better to your human life and enjoy that more, which does not require finding The One Answer about what you’re “Supposed to be doing.”

Whether you’re going to use my Program for Easy Vibrational Balance or find something else that works for you, definitely stop worrying about finding the one special answer. Because there may not be one. Instead, find your gusto in being human.

Post-New-Age Tips #2: Use Appropriate Resources for Self-Actualization

BETH’s Quote

I have always had a burning desire to be a beacon of love and light in the world, but have either been too scared or blocked to explore this desire within.

Classic New Age

What if you haven’t yet used your full potential? Figure out the cause that’s blocking you. Since otherwise you would just know.

Maybe you’re blocked due to psychological fear (scared). So you might want to delve into your subconscious mind and analyze that.

Otherwise your problem could be that energetically you’re blocked. Perhaps a psychic reading would clear this up for you, and bring you clarity. Then you will know what you are supposed to do.

Your Post-New-Age Tip

A reading is not a healing. If you’re stuck in your emotional and spiritual growth, that’s common. But “An answer” is not “The answer.”

To make a bigger difference, find a modality for energetic healing that produces effective results. For example, RES specializes in emotional and spiritual growth, acknowledging that there are many kinds of STUFF.

That means astral-level energy stuck in a person’s aura, at a level that corresponds to the subconscious mind.  Each distinctive kind of STUFF causes problems, but can be removed with appropriate skills.

Personally, I Find It So Sad When Folks Call Themselves “Blocked.”

Try skills that help, and if they don’t really help, try something new! So much better than repeating the same “Nice try” ideas.

My perspective is RES related, but no doubt plenty of other resources online could give you alternatives to choose from.

From that RES perspective… Co-creating with Divine help, I’ve written the first books about several skills related to STUFF removal. And received the first trademarks in the U.S. for that type of personal growth. (And in most cases, this pioneer’s trademark remains the only one in that field.)

Let’s explode the myth that someone whose favorite energy healing method stops delivering results…  is simply “blocked.” Any ONE of the following examples can educate you about skill sets that offer more sophistication than popular New Age pursuits of “Energy Healing.”

Plus, here are skills that you can learn to explore with precision who you really are and how you’re doing right now:

You see, in The Age of Awakening, we can develop precision. Have standards. Use discernment, rather than believing the sweet (but maybe dangerous) New Age idea that “All things we might do to grow are equally beautiful and effective.”

Post-New-Age Tips #3: GROUNDING Is Counter-Productive

BETH’s Quote

I took an energy healing course a couple of years ago and realised I wasn’t grounded and spent a lot of my time out of my body, so started practising grounding.

Classic New Age

Personal growth depends on your energies.

Ground yourself. Practice it diligently. Ground yourself all day long.

Your Post-New-Age Tip

Personal growth depends on vibrational positioning. Including the basic knowledge that human-type energies (vibrational frequencies) are different from both astral-type energies and energy at the Divine vibrational frequency.

Techniques to ground your energies are done with what?

  • A rope?
  • A bucket?
  • Your consciousness?

Yes, you guessed it. Your consciousness.

Although I don’t know specifically which technique BETH has been using, guess what? Every single technique I’ve learned about so far for “Grounding” will position your consciousness WHERE?

At astral vibrational frequencies. Not human vibrational frequencies.

But Isn’t the Whole Point of GROUNDING to Succeed at Living in Human Vibrational Frequencies?

Yes! Words like “grounded” are synonyms for “Functioniing with awareness at human vibrational frequencies” and “Well-adjusted to being human.”

Ironically any technique you do for grounding will bring awareness away from human vibrational frequencies. Directing your consciousness where, instead? The astral.

Therefore, the harder someone tries to “Do my grounding technique to put awareness in my body” can’t succeed. Except to keep strengthening the habit of having positioned at astral vibrational frequencies. Oops!

Sadly, hard-working New Agers are working harder than ever post-New-Age. Sure they feel something. Buy who has explained to them what is really happening in The Age of Awakening? Such as, “The harder you work at grounding, the more spaced out you will become.”

Nobody’s fault! Likewise, lack of basic understanding about vibrational frequencies has created plenty of problems that hurt New Agers, seekers of psychological wholeness, and those who aim for Enlightenment. Good people still using the same old, same old methods that were touted during the years of “What to Expect When You’re Expecting.” 😉

For example, it is so common post-New-Age to develop a consciousness lifestyle called “Spiritual Addiction.” Which delivers the opposite of what is sought.

Here’s a Top 10 set of articles to help you sweet New Agers re-evaluate many of the things you’ve been doing for personal growth. Any of which may be counter-productive now, in The Age of Awakening.

Okay, let’s pause for your input, Blog-Buddies. Any questions? Any stories? How about reactions to this idea?

Human consciousness can only be positioned at only one vibrational frequency, just one at a time.

    Exchange just seen on FB:

Question: “Which is more important? Your Energy or your Actions?”

One of the answers: “Your energy determines your action so I go with energy!!”

To this author of “The New Strong,” this marks people who are having trouble with adapting to today’s new vibrational freedom. Make sense?

I’m curious if some of you readers were offended by this blog post.

If so, can you say why?

This blog is meant to be educational, after all.

    Hi Rose,

I have friends who are stuck. Unfortunately, it seems very difficult for people to shift gears and do something new. Even if what they are doing is not working for them.

To me it almost seems as if some of the people I know derive a lot of their sense of identity from their spiritual habits. I find myself having to back off even though I want to help.

Rose, I also think you are a pioneer. You are also an astute observer of patterns you see in clients. This puts you in a unique position.

Ithe takes a while, for people to catch on. Also, I really think people are feeling challenged. I am feeling challenged. A lot of regular life seems more difficult.

I get clarity when I use techniques from your book, the New Strong. I can’t even begin to imagine what it wold be like without these tools.

AVID READER,thank you for all your comments today.

My hope with this particular article is to engage any readers who feel uncomfortable, or intellectually go But-But-But about anything here.

Since I’d like to help folks look at things differently… as you astutely observed, when they are able.

Back in the day, when I published the first book in English for empaths (“Empowered by Empathy,”) my favorite chapter was on “Grounding.”

So I had skin in the game there, as elsewhere, to keep on believing what made sense during the New Age years.

    Rose Rosetree says:

A lot of “Empowered by Empathy” does work in The Age of Awakening, seems to me. However, quite a bit that was in that book became obsolte.

Which is why I took the unusual step of removing that book from sale, including audiobook copies. A costly choice for me, but unquestionably the right one.

Rose, the thing is that something that is entirely logical may still be hard. This whole “adjusting ones frequency”, its a subtle and stressful thing to deal with while being human.
