Annoying Empath Problem? So avoidable, the biggest problems that folks bring to me as an empath coach. Please, save yourself time. Simple advice and free resources are here in this article!
Annoying Empath Problem? There’s more than one, actually. Helping empaths, I’ve encountered several ways that empaths have been suffering unnecessarily. And each of these problems is totally, perfectly, completely solvable. Yes, totally! Perfectly! Completely! Solvable!
Therefore, when I say “annoying,” that really means solvable. Can you relate to any of the problems listed below?
Annoying Empath Problem #1.
“My Holistic Healers Suspect I’m an Empath.
“Now What Do I Do?”
Guess what! Joe was left high and dry, worrying like crazy. Since the way his healers talked to him, you’d think he was waiting to be diagnosed for some dreaded kind of disease.
- They “suspect”? More than one of his holistic healers “suspect”ed? Why were they looking in this direction at all?
- Were these holistic healers qualified to tell if somebody is an empath or not?
- And, if not, what on earth were they talking about? They might as well say, “I suspect that you were delivered to my office, thinking you were human while actually you’ve recently been manufactured by a 3-D printer. Have you got a care label?”
Clearly I’m glad that Joe found me, a professional empath coach. What happened during our session? Early on, I did a bit of YES-OR-NO research on his aura, using my skills as an empath coach as well as an aura reader.
You know, Blog-Buddies, using skills so that I could give him my professional opinion. Based on expertise.
So Many Things I Could Have Suspected, But Didn’t….
Since Joe was in session with me, trustingly hoping to make his life better, maybe it would have been fun (for somebody — not me, but somebody) to share new suspicions outside my area of expertise:
- I suspect you have a funny, ticklish part of your left foot.
- I suspect you reneged on a New Year’s Resolution from 17 years ago.
- Most grim (and outlandish) of all, I suspect you’re not as good a dancer as you think you are.
But of course I don’t tell my RES clients things like that. Because I know my scope of practice. Therefore, I don’t presume to speculate about other things that may or may not be true about them.
So here’s my first tip to you Blog-Buddies who may be worrying. All due to something that some well meaning person told you might be a big deal about you, helpful advice offered as a hunch or an intuition or — to seem even fancier — told to you as an “I suspect.”
Don’t take on that kind of Annoying Empath Problem. Just because someone else has professional skills as a chiropractor or Reiki healer or massage therapist, hello! Here’s a question you might ask: “Is this thing you’re suspecting… something you’ve learned about as part of your professional training? Or does this really lie outside your scope of practice?”
An honest answer can help you to stop worrying about the “big problem” which somebody suggests might be really, really important.
How I Helped Joe Solve His Annoying Empath Problem
As I began sharing with you earlier in today’s article, Blog-Buddies, I used my skills as an empath coach to research whether Joe was an empath or not.
Surprisingly (or not) it turned out that Joe wasn’t an empath at all.
Actually, he wasn’t even a Highly Sensitive Person. (According to my research, all empaths are HSPs. And only 1 out of 4 HSPs is an empath.)
How CAN You Find Out Whether You’re Really an Empath?
Booking a session of RES Energy HEALING isn’t the only way to find out if you’re an empath. Here’s a link to my 10 Best Articles for Empaths.
You’ll find a bunch of quizzes that you can take for free.

Annoying Empath Problem #2. Struggling to Learn Empath Empowerment
“Oh, I’ve been struggling. I’ve been struggling for months. I work with your books on how to become a skilled empath. But I’m having so much trouble learning.”
Here’s another example of an annoying situation for some empaths.
First of all, please start developing empath skills by reading my series of books in the order in which they’re published:
- Book One: “Empath Empowerment in 30 Days”
- Then Book Two: “The Empowered Empath — Quick & Easy”
- Book Three: “The Empowered Empath — Owning, Embracing and Managing Your Special Gifts”
- Following that, Book Four: “The Master Empath”
The client who asked me that question wasn’t starting with Book One. Might I suggest? Read them in the order shown here.
Many empaths get enough empath skills to satisfy them… just by reading Book One in the series.
Additional books are for additional skill, that’s all. Because what you can do with advanced empath skills is utterly fascinating.
Repeating My Word to the Wise
Yes, please start with Book One. What happens when empaths assume they are advanced enough to start with Book Three or whatever? That’s not fair to either of us!
Also please toss out my outdated books. Yes, I’ve published a couple of empath books that are no longer current — they’ve got too much energy talk, appropriate for the time when I wrote them (1980-12/21/12). But not so helpful any more.
Really, it’s kind of sweet that a couple of my books for empaths are outdated: Because I was the first empath coach to publish a book for empaths.
You see, I’ve been at this for a long time. Over the years I’ve replaced a couple of books by publishing better ones. For more details, click here.
Annoying Empath Problem #3. Becoming a Skilled Empath Is Too Much Work
“For years I’ve been working at this! I’ve read many books — not yours, Rose, but other books that were advertised at Amazon, so I found them first when I searched on Empath.”
“Maybe you can explain to me why I have to work so hard.”
Provided that you really are an empath, I can teach you to gain great skills, and gain them easily. After a bit of practice, all you “do” to maintain your empath skills takes just two minutes per day. Total.
But first things first: Let’s be clear that what I teach is different from what others teach. Even if they play copycat with the names I’ve developed:
- “Empath Empowerment® (the only trademarked system in America for empaths!)
- And “Empowered Empath.” Which isn’t just some random meme but included in the titles of two of my published books. (Find them above.)
For pity’s sake, don’t hold me responsible for what random authorities recommend. Especially if they’ve made YouTube videos or written articles or developed Facebook groups… and have given them, you know, copycat names.
How clever can these folks be if they can’t even come up with their own names… for their “original” ways to help empaths?
And One More Point to Help You Avoid Struggle
This is a rare problem for empaths, but definitely annoying if it should come up. So it’s worth mentioning.
What if you have used “Empath Empowerment in 30 Days” — the real deal, not some copycat version — and you’re finding it hard to play along with me, learning that super-quick approach?
Please don’t clench your jaw harder and soldier on. STRUGGLE isn’t the name of the Empath Empowerment game but FUN!
So book a session with me for Empath Coaching. One session might be all that you need for me to identify the cause of your personal difficulties and help you solve the problem.
Gaining great skills as an empath, when using the system of Empath Empowerment, isn’t like lifting weights, where you grunt and groan and sweat. Honestly!
Empath Empowerment Usually Comes Easy
It’s easy to learn. Effortless, actually!
And then having those skills will make your life easier. Empower you, even!
Look, you can’t change whether or not to be an empath. That ship has sailed. 😉
(Because all of us empaths are born that way. And empaths we’ll remain, for life.)
Where does your choice come in? You can choose to learn effective skills, life skills, that make you an empowered empath. Or to settle for the everyday suffering that comes to empaths who only have talent, not yet skill.
I sure hope you make that choice for more use of your full potential in life. Because I’ve helped thousands of empaths to have better lives. I would love to help you, too.
