Deeper Perception Made Practical

Academy Awards 2019 Vacation

Academy Awards 2019 Vacation

Academy Awards 2019 Vacation. Do you think this year’s acting nominees had great auras? In the past, that was often true. But this year?

Academy Awards 2019 Vacation. This was the year with no host for the broadcast.

Also, for me it was a first year in ages: Rose Rosetree didn’t watch. Neither did I do advance reviews of nominated acting performances.

Maybe just for this year. Maybe not. No need to decide right now about future years!

Meanwhile, some of you, Blog-Buddies have noticed. Why no aura reading movie reviews for the Academy Awards 2019? Today I’ll explain why I needed to take a break.

Short version? Because it seems that every year… more A-listers are doing really badly, aura-wise.

In today’s post, I’ll research what was going on this year, consciousness-wise, with 20 nominees. All the acting nominees.

My Academy Awards 2019 Vacation from Doing

Aura Reading Movie Reviews

Yes, some of you have noticed my little vacay. For instance, DIANA asked me this yesterday:

The Oscars are tonight and I was wondering why you didn’t do the usual profiles of stars…I always looked forward to that.

Just curious.

And yes, I’ve proudly done Aura Reading Movie reviews for years. Here’s your link to a post that lists them all, hundreds of comparison aura readings. Since this is the energetic literacy way to tell who has given a great performance.

For today’s educational treat, I’ll be doing plenty of brief aura readings: Every one of the best acting nominees. Whether in leading or supporting role.

To Make Today’s Academy Awards 2019 “Vacation” Research Meaningful

First of all, understand these seven categories. They concern how a person’s aura is doing overall:

  1. Human-Based Spirituality. People doing well on their spiritual journeys.
  2. Doing Okay. Managing to muddle through as themselves.
  3. Age of Awakening Enlightenment. People doing very well!
  4. Spiritual Shutdown. (For details, scroll down to the turquoise box.) Living without much of an inner life. And sure, big-time actors can live that way.
  5. Spiritual Addiction. (For details, scroll down to the turquoise box.) Spaced out, including from marijuana and other drugs.
  6. Extreme Spiritual Addiction. Unfortunately, this is where astral beings have a lot of influence over the person. Avoidable mess-up!
  7. How about living The New Strong?Moving fastest on toward spiritual awakening. So many of you Blog-Buddies are doing that. But others, who’ve never readThe New Strong or taken the New Strong Online Workshops? Not so likely.

My overall sense was that this was a pretty discouraging group, aura-wise. Let’s find out if I was right.

I’ll be using energetic literacy skills to research a selection of chakra databanks.

P.S. Going downstairs to get more coffee, what caught my eye? A “Style Section” photo, in “The Washington Post,” of actor Billy Porter. He was posing in a black velvet tuxedo-ballgown.

Long as I had out my array of chakra databanks, noted on paper, I researched how Porter, too, was doing overall.

  2. 2

    Spiritual addiction, Blog-Buddies.
As part of what, energetically, amounted to Mr. Porter’s distinctly out-of-body experience.

  3. 3
    Diana says:

I’m glad to see that Viggo is still doing great!

I watched the Oscars and it was interesting how many celebrities said ,when asked how the experience was, that it felt “out of body”.

  4. 4
    Diana says:

Rose-with all these people in spiritual shutdown and extreme spiritual addiction, is it dangerous for me energetically to watch these movies?

  5. 5

Thanks for both comments, DIANA. Fascinating about the self-reporting as “out of body”!

Please know that states of consciousness are not contagious. Watch whatever you like, including Mr. Porter posing in his expensive ballgown-tuxedo. Each to his own!

  6. 6

That said, personally I don’t enjoy watching movies that star people in extreme spiritual addiction.

By now, I’ve researched so many celebrities and politicians with that state of consciousness. Consequently, even with Stage 1 Energetic Literacy, it’s pretty clear to me that they’re kind of like puppets. This YouTube video shows an aura reading of one rather famous example of extreme spiritual addiction, and you might have seen him elsewhere shouting over the voice of his debate partner: “Not a puppet. Not a puppet.”

    An Avid Reader says:

Given the circumstances, your vacay is completely understandable!

  8. 8
    Kylie says:

Very interesting Rose. I’m excited to know that there are still a few actor/actresses doing ok.

Sad that that should be true, but I’ve started to expect them all to be in bad shape.

  9. 9
    Brittany says:

I really enjoyed this post. I am in the same boat as Kylie, expecting most to be in bad shape.

I always have enjoyed Glenn Close. Glad she’s hanging in there!

  10. 10

Rose, I’m guessing the “Doing Okay” folks are somewhere between Spiritual Shutdown and Human-based Spirituality.

Better results than I expected, especially since all have been touched by fame.

  11. 11

Thanks so much to all you perceptive Blog-Buddies.

Regarding your Comment #9, BRITTANY, yes, that was a disappointment for Glenn Close — so often nominated but never winning yet. Inadvertently, she illustrates the complexities of karma. Here she is, with exceptional talent, hard work, doing her best. Yet — for whatever reason(s) not winning “The Big Prize” of an Oscar.

  12. 12

To appreciate more about the mysterious karma of winning an Oscar, check out a selection of my Aura Reading Movie Reviews.

Many a winner did a pretty unconvincing job, aura-wise.

  13. 13

SANDRA HAERING, leave it to you — who always wants to know — to prompt me to tell what I mean by “Doing Okay” in this context.

Mainly I’m responding to things like seriously not eating enough (regardless of how the person physically looks), the influence of prescription drugs that negatively impact consciousness (including the possibility of psychiatric medications that are a poor fit), the impact of non-prescription drugs (even if not recent). I’d tell this kind of info to a client, if appropriate, but it’s not for blogging.

  14. 14

Why did so many of you flag the problem of “touched by fame”? Partly because you may have read blog posts here on the topic of fame, wherein I often refer to fame as “the most addictive drug on the planet.”

Otherwise, just think about it. A B-lister living today gets more media attention and fame pressure than Frank Sinatra, Elvis, or the Beatles did, back in their primes. Seems to me, people who achieve fame while young, like Emma Stone and Amy Adams, are especially at risk.

  15. 15
    Graham says:

Yes I was almost surprised to read how many of the people on this list were doing ‘okay!’

Rose… Viggo Mortensen is not on your alphabetical Enlightenment Life List… just a typo probably (I had considered going to see that movie and checked the list).

  16. 16
    Liane says:

Viggo Mortinsen was a joy to watch in The Green Book – that being the only movie I’ve gone to a theater to watch in a very long time.

He seems to be at ease with himself in any role, even the fanatical and paranoid Captain Fantastic.

  17. 17
    Liane says:

Does my heart some good knowing he’s still in enlightenment.

Thank you, Rose, for the mini-academy update. I quite understand your need for a vacay.

  18. 18

    Fixed, GRAHAM. 🙂

  19. 19
    Steve says:

I only saw The Green Book, which I absolutely thought was great, and Roma, which I thought was interesting but one dimensional.

  20. 20
    Steve says:

I watched a bit of The Oscars, and fast forwarded quite a bit, and the thought that I had a few times was “so this is why Republicans call it Hollyweird,” which is a bit strange for a Democrat to have.

  21. 21
    Lindsey says:

Good to know Rose, thank you for sharing.

I’m a bit picky these days about what I watch or whose music I listen too.

  22. 22
    Lindsey says:

Even if I haven’t the information about whether the actors are not doing well aurically, if I notice in objective reality strange human behaviors in what an actor is doing or what they are saying in public or even a story line or plot in a movie that I just don’t care to watch, I just change to watch something else.

  23. 23
    Lindsey says:

Although, since learning RES skills in Energetic Literacy, I get to know how my favorite or interesting actors to me are doing by reading different Chakra Databanks.

This gives me a lot more discernment when choosing something that has more quality overall. My time is precious, “auric modeling” in regards to quality entertainment is important to me now too.

  24. 24
    Lindsey says:

Not that I fear when I watch an actor who isn’t doing so well, it’s my preference not to watch him or her as a choice.

Thank you again Rose for all I have learned and am learning everyday!

  25. 25
    Claudia says:

Have a question about why you said it would be safe to watch an actor in spiritual surrender.

  26. 26
    Claudia says:

My recollection is that when you first wrote about this that because it is possible for most of us to get a cord of attachment to anyone we watch in a movie or on tv and if that is true would it not be harmful to get this cord of attachment and therefore allow access to what can come in?

If you would answer this, would much appreciate.

  27. 27

Thanks so much to all of you who have been commenting. That acknowledged, let’s turn to CLAUDIA’s Comments #25 and 26.

First of all, CLAUDIA, I’m not sure what you mean by “spiritual surrender.” If you go over the list of consciousness lifestyles in this article, you won’t find that one. To me, that name belongs more to a pretty outmoded path, aiming for Traditional Enlightenment. I wouldn’t wish the consequences on any householder living now!

  28. 28

But on to the larger point, which involves a fear that somehow another person’s consciousness lifestyle is transmitted through a cord of attachment. And I’m so glad that I get to address that sort of unfounded fear, debunk it right now.

You know me, old friend CLAUDIA. I’m going to go into a lotta detail. Since the question you’ve raised is really important.

  29. 29

First of all, let’s consider your statement that it “is possible for most of us to get a cord of attachment to anyone we watch in a movie or on tv.” (My bolding.)

Let’s be clear about this. When you pay attention to anyone for 10 seconds, by watching in a movie etc., or reading her blog, etc. you WILL develop both a spiritual tie and a cord of attachment. (Unless that other person is dead. Which explains why none of us English majors has a cord of attachment to Jane Austen. 😉 )

  30. 30

Second, something will get stuck in your cord of attachment to that other person, the cordee. And it will even change over time, in the direction of bad to worse.

But so what? All of us living today have loads of kinds of STUFF, including cords of attachment to random people we personally know a little bit. No need to fear that!

  31. 31

Third, speaking of fear, what’s with this idea? “would it not be harmful to get this cord of attachment.”

No! Look, you live in New York. Where I grew up in New York, what would happen if I walked around the block early in the morning? I’d probably spend 10 seconds staring at each wino sitting outside the liquor store, waiting for it to open up.

  32. 32

I’m as big a fan of cutting cords of attachment as anybody you know, including the sale of this eBook — currently my only book available on the system of 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment®.

But you won’t find fear talk there, nor in the book that’s obsolete so I removed it from sale, “Cut Cords of Attachment — Heal Yourself and Others with Energy Spirituality.” (One of my backlist books that’s so dated, I now recommend that, if you do have a copy, you toss it in the trash.)

  33. 33

Fourth, you really made me sit up and take notice with the idea that “and therefore allow access to what can come in?”

What the heck is that supposed to mean? Have you been influenced by psychics and paranormal fanciers who live in a world of astral flash and fear? That doesn’t sound like you, CLAUDIA.

  34. 34

Cords of attachment are not like that. Period. Throw away notions of psychic attack through cords of attachment, for pity’s sake.

And, just out of curiosity, I’m now googling ” psychic attack through cords of attachment.” Shall we see if other people write about this fictitious, untrue, fear-mongering idea? (At least, untrue in my opinion.)

  35. 35

    Well, well, well… 440,000 hits.

So you can go elsewhere, folks, to stoke those fears. But don’t you have a better use of your time?

  36. 36

Fifth and last, here’s what I suspect motivates people to view cutting cords of attachment as something related to psychic attack….

Versus the sort of understanding that makes a whole lot more sense to me. Which is that cutting cords of attachment is helpful for emotional and spiritual growth.

  37. 37

    Spiritual addiction.

When people pay way too much attention to energies — or to spiritual surrender — they can inadvertently slip into a consciousness lifestyle that makes them vulnerable to fearing energies, attacks, and cords of attachment.

  38. 38

What’s the simplest way to get out of the vicious cycle of spiritual addiction? Book a session of RES Energy HEALING.

Second best help? Read “The New Strong,” and follow the recommendations you’ll find there.

  39. 39

Today, Blog-Buddies, I figured out a positive alternative to doing the Aura Reading Movie Reviews. Starting today, at various times during the year, I’ll be offering you Aura Reading TV Reviews.
