Penélope Cruz starring in two movies.

To me, these films were completely forgettable. So were her performances. Believable-enough performances, yet completely forgettable. All that I remember is how beautiful she looked.

Period.

According to Wikipedia

This actor has won an Academy Award, aBAFTA Award, a Grammy Award and three Goya Awards. 

Most notable to me, from her bio on Wikipedia, “She volunteered in Uganda and India, where she spent one week working with Mother Teresa, and donated her salary from The Hi-Lo Country to help fund the deceased nun’s mission.” (More recently, of course, this nun has been canonized as St. Teresa of Calcutta.)

All this looks really impressive, doesn’t it?

Finding a usable photograph of Penélope was more difficult than I would have expected. Most often, this public figure poses with at least one hand touching her face or body.

On this topic I’m going to make some observations that may seem a little down-to-earth, coming from a spiritual teacher. Skip ahead, if you like.

Otherwise, in my search for a relatively good photo for researching Penélope’s Spiritual Chakra
Databanks, I scanned dozens of pictures of her, taken over two decades. As a result I saw her dressing modestly, yet also upgrading her figure through what must be a considerable amount of cosmetic surgery to meet today’s porn-influenced standards.

• Here, again, I’ll link you to her photo from 2008, when Ms. Cruz wears a tight white blouse.
• By 2015, she looks like this on the cover of Vogue Spain.
• And by 2025, Cruz continues to progress further toward looking like a Barbie doll.

As an actress Penélope uses emotions in her work. To her, emotions are something for her to show. Not to feel!

In her personal life, sure. Penélope has authentic emotions. She expresses them too, sometimes, depending on what she wants to get from people in her life. Overall, I find a couple of problems.

Mostly, Penélope’s acting has broken the natural coordination between spontaneously FEELING an emotion, then automatically EXPRESSING that emotion. One might consider this problem to be an occupational hazard for actors.

However, when it comes to emotional development, Penélope has another problem that is very much her own: a dead spot within several of her Heart Chakra databanks. Within her is no desire, let alone any passion for:

EITHER they practice the rituals of their tradition outwardly while doubting the existence of God.

OR they believe in a deity but feel disconnected from emotive shows of faith.

Penélope fits right in with these folks.

Exhibit A is the YouTube video on “5 Things Christian Women Need to STOP Wearing.” (Not that I could bear to watch more than a couple of minutes of this video. You too might find even a little of this to be very interesting.)

Since I live in the Bible Belt, I could almost hear women in my neighborhood cheering at the ideas expressed in this video. Seems to me, the problem isn’t just WHAT the folks in this video want Christian women to stop wearing but WHY.

A Happy Surprise

Penélope Cruz is the first female performer I’ve aura-researched in a while who isn’t tormented by how hard it is for her to maintain what I call “The Anorexic Ideal.”

Evidently she’s super-thin naturally. One less problem for her!
