Introducing RES to Friends. Effective Approaches.

Introducing RES to Friends. Sure, ring some bells to wake people up. Just do it gently.

Introducing RES to Friends. Suppose that you think RES could really help a friend of yours. What’s an effective way to speak up?

Today’s post was prompted by a comment yesterday. Articulate Blog-Buddy HOLLY wrote, here, about finding it difficult. Yes, articulate HOLLY found it hard, introducing RES to friends.

“Sometimes it helps them more if I don’t mention RES.

“When I do say something about RES, they think that is validation for what they heard from “people with gifts” or “people who see ghosts”. Then they go even deeper down that path.”

Graduation Celebration. Joyful Persistence.

Graduation Celebration for many in the Engineering Dept. at the University of California, Berkeley

Graduation Celebration. This time of year, graduations happen a lot. Blog-Buddies, is your family having one this year? Please comment below. So that all of us in this informal, amazing community can celebrate together with you.

Also, of course, this is also Memorial Day weekend in America. Do any of you have stories to share of that kind of perseverance?

Seems to me, military courage and academic courage have a lot in common. My main family of three — Mitch, me, and The New Ph.D. — we sure got off easy. Since our son did the cushy, academic kind of service to society.

Golly, I’ve never had to celebrate such a thing before. Do you have any ideas?

Please comment below with any ideas you have for how I can thank you’ all.

And also any way we might use this milestone to help more people know about RES.

Overcoming Writer’s Block. In Honor of CREATIVE YOU

Overcoming Writer's Block.

Overcoming Writer’s Block. How RES can help. Including teaching tales in “Bigger than All the Night Sky.”

Overcoming Writer’s Block. Of course, Blog-Buddies, some of you do know what that means, right?

Writer’s block is ugly. Quite commonly, it feels personal. Often in a very lonely way.

  • Have you ever been stuck while writing a paper for school?
  • Even a grad school dissertation?
  • How about feeling “There’s a book inside me”? Yet not being able to pull it out?

For years, Pathways Magazine has sponsored a semi-annual Natural Living Expo? Also, for years, there’s been an RES Booth and Workshop. Well, it’s happening again this April 7.

So what’s new about that? And seriously? What qualifies as exciting? Here’s what:

Aura Reading Christie Marie Sheldon

Aura Reading Christie Marie Sheldon

Aura Reading Christie Marie Sheldon. What helps this psychic and healer make buckets of money?

Aura Reading Christie Marie Sheldon, why? To help us gain closure on some rather shocking research we published recently.

Did you see that post yet? How I wrote about “Purposely Feeling Emotional Pain“? Highly controversial! Shocking, even.

Really, shocking. Because so many of us have been taught to reflect on our pain. Like that’s supposed to be good for us. Maybe we’ve even been told that “resolving our pain from the past” is our only true way to move forward.

Decisions Made. Decisions Regretted. Paying an Extra Price?

Decisions Made. Decisions Regretted.

Decisions Made. Decisions Regretted. Are your choices flimsy and fleeting, like a feather in the wind? Or do your choices have meaning?

Decisions Made. Decisions Regretted. Today, together, we can solve a certain kind of decision making problem. Or, at least, start solving it.

Because this week I’ve had a couple of reminders. Some people are fine with making decisions. They don’t agonize so much on the decision-making end.

But hoo-boy, do they ever agonize over decisions after making them. I hope that today’s post can help.

Success Price. Paying the Price for Cookbook Success.

Success Price

Success Price. Why has Joanna Gaines sold more cookbooks than Julia Child?

Success Price. Let’s return to the theme of many an article here. Although it’s been years since we’ve had a blog conversation about “paying the price.”

To get in the mood, search here on “Pay the Price.” You’ll find loads of past articles on this theme. Especially a lot of guest posts.

Or simply ask yourself: Do you often groan, “It’s not fair”?

Does it sometimes drive you nuts how people who don’t seem to deserve riches or fame… Wind up winning so many of life’s big prizes?
