Avoiding negative people these days?

On his personal path to Enlightenment, JOE has been proud of himself lately. Because he can’t help noticing how, increasingly, he has found himself avoiding all negative people

“I just can’t stand to be with them any more,” he told me with an air of triumph.

Uh-oh. Is that really such a good thing, no longer being willing or able to tolerate negative people?

Farewell, Spiritual Addiction. Moving towards Enlightenment

Farewell Spiritual Addiction

Farewell Spiritual Addiction, I’m learning a better way to position my consciousness

Farewell, Spiritual Addiction. Because I’m learning a better way to move towards Enlightenment.

What’s the key? Positioning my consciousness.Yesterday’s post explored today’s epidemic of spiritual addiction, relating it to the global pandemic of obesity and common confusions within the New Age community.

For today the more joyful flip side of the coin: What is so wonderful about positioning your consciousness at the human level?

Because your freedom to position your consciousness effortlessly is amazing. It really is.

Positioning your consciousness

Of course you have consciousness. Even before your baby eyes could focus well, you had consciousness. Of course, “consciousness” simply means being awake inside, noticing one thing at a time.

Long before multi-tasking became popular, you could do one thing at a time:

  • Relish a spring tulip.
  • Smell apple pie.
  • Eat a bite of that pie, one mouth at a time and one mouthful at a time.

Vibrational lifting, energy vampire fears, energy hypochondria

Congratulations to our latest group of Skilled Empaths, graduates of the Empath Empowerment Workshop. Every time I teach this workshop, it is a unique delight. And this group didn’t disappoint.

If you are new to learning about empaths, I wish you could have met this group — such a diverse collection of people. All they had in common:

QUIZ about guidance and messages from spirit

GLADYS felt ashamed of her problem, though she was working on it. “My mind is too active. I can’t receive messages from spirit as I have been taught that I should.”

Well, there’s good news about this “bad” news. Some very good news indeed.

New Age consumers, choose the best and leave the rest

A recent theme in my healing sessions has been cutting cords of attachment to previous New Age healers. Many different clients have had me remove cords of attachment to different healers; clients on different continents and healers of every description.

Often this sort of help has been requested by my long-term clients. These folks have had benefit from Energy Spirituality and they now are ready to clean out old STUFF related to previous experiences with healers that were either fulfilling or not fulfilling. Cleaning out STUFF and putting in more soulful qualities, as human beings on a path to Enlightenment — that is the definition of Enbergy Spirituality. And the put-in part includes assessing your current path, what helps and what hinders and what is mostly a habit.

Better Guidance in 2012

Guidance matters always. But at the start of a new year, we are most apt to think about guidance. (Which is why I offer my workshop on Guidance the first weekend in each new year.)

You have so many choices to make this year, for good or ill, choices big and small.

For instance, will you choose to study aura reading by means of energetic literacy or psychic development? Okay, that’s probably not your biggest practical concern. 😉

You also will be making choices about where you work, what you do for hobbies, which friendships you cultivate, how you plan to lose that weight, etc.  So which of the following are you most apt to consult?

Spiritual Addiction Quiz – Answers

Today’s post will provide answers to the Spiritual Addiction Quiz in our last post. I dedicate this article to GLADYS, a new client who managed to start sessions with me right before tipping over into full spiritual addiction. I’m also mindful of the heartfelt Comment 8 yesterday from LJ (emphasis and ellipsis added by me):

“Deciphering the middle ground between a healthy pursuit of developing psychic skills… and too much is pretty fine and hard to put a finger on… since a lot of different things can create a spiritual addiction.”

Spiritual Addiction Quiz

How can I tell if I have a spiritual addiction? Before we wind up this year, let’s address a major theme in this year’s posts. (And in my personal sessions with clients in 2011 as well.)

Like any addiction (alcoholism, marijuana addiction, pornography addiction, sex addiction, love addiction, or addiction to a cult), the consequences of spiritual addiction are very personal, with the worst problems not being universal at all.

LOA Teachers, Profiles of Spiritual Addiction, Final Installment

This post concludes some research I did for writing the how-to book “Magnetize Money with Energetic Literacy.” It can seem beautiful, what is taught as The Law of Attraction and The Secret, whether taught by Abraham-Hicks or Rhonda Byrne.

When you’re traveling on your spiritual path, where is it wise to seek results? Not with the promises but deep within your auric field, in your chakra databanks, and then checking out what happens in objective reality.

LOA Teachers, Portraits of Spiritual Addiction, compared with Dominionism

Such a continuing education in aura reading, energetic literacy, and spiritual addiction! Not to mention Law of Attraction. And, by the end of today’s post, Dominionism.

Also today’s Part 3 continuation of this thread includes the 1 out of 50 volunteer LOA teachers who was (it seems to me) purposely maniuplating students for personal gain. Although still possessing a spiritual addiction.

See if you can figure out which one I mean.
