Aura Reading Movie Review Starring Jennifer Lawrence. A Guest Post by ISABELLA CATES

Jennifer Lawrence, ready for her aura reading.

Jennifer Lawrence, ready for her aura reading.

Jennifer Lawrence always delights me… when I see her on talk shows.

Watching her, I stay right on the glittery surface — Because, hey, I’m a Skilled Empath and have developed quite decent skills at engaging in life humanly unless doing Technique Time.

Watching Jennifer Lawrence that way, she seems like the ultimate party girl, so fun, and having so much fun. Yet when ISABELLA sent me today’s guest post, and I clicked onto the photo of Jennifer Lawrence playing Jennifer, what was my immediate reaction, right on the surface of human perception.

One look at her expression and body language and I went “Uh-oh.”

Well, golly! This has been some weird set of aura reading Academy Award Nominee-type Readings. So far we’ve had that unexpectedly disturbing one of Leonard DiCaprio, plus our not entirely fun-some aura research into actors Idris Elba and John Boyega.

This morning I woke up thinking, “Let’s go for some contrast today. How about an actress? Might I please, please explore a more lighthearted role that doesn’t involve an actor’s protracted near-death experience?”
Of course, I’m also committed to researching folks who got the most nominations in our Contest for This Year’s Aura Reading Movie Reviews. So… I settled on an excellent cheese. Excuse me, an actress.  Brie Larson was nominated by DONNA and also JESS, who wrote:

Ready for some fun? How about some weird fun?

Because today I’m responding to nominations for researching Best Actor Favorite Leonardo DiCaprio. (Note: You still have time to weigh in on which other performers I research this year in advance of the Oscars. Just go to our Contest for This Year’s Aura Reading Movie Reviews and do nominations and supporting nominations to your heart’s content.)

So why do I say “weird” fun? Because Leo DiCaprio’s role involved what I consider physical torture

When he endured the gruelling conditions for making this film, I’m actually curious if he give his usual, chakra databank changing super-duper performance. Or maybe it was all he could do to say his lines plausibly, take direction, and survive the physical comfort.

What if all I learn about his performance this time turns out to be variations on “I’m so darned cold!”?

Well, put on your coat, if it helps you, Blog-Buddies. Now let’s begin today’s aura reading trek into the energetic wilderness.

Warning: My joyful mood when I undertook today’s post could not prevent me from noticing quite a mess. Frankly you might not wish to read today’s article.

Personally I was deeply saddened by what I found, a terrible impact on the actor himself that couldn’t be denied since I was using the skills of energetic literacy.

Help me decide, Blog-Buddies. You may know that every year I research several actors and actresses, starring the special kind of energetic literacy that I use to probe how deeply actors inhabit their roles.

These aura reading movie reviews explore which performers change so much in their roles, it even alters their auras. (Easier said than done. Literally.)

Only world class actors manage to change so deeply that complex characters are created with radically different ways of functioning subconsciously, altering their energy fields all the way through to their chakra databanks.

Researching that is a delectable treat, so many of you join me in looking forward to these special aura readings, done every year.

This year’s blog articles will be no exception, except for… two exceptions.

Energetic literacy research as film criticism — here it starts for Academy Awards in 2015.

Did you know? World-class actors are able to do something few humans can.

Sometimes an Oscar nominee will change so deep down, when creating a role, that the transformation shows subconsciously and energetically. One chakra databank after another is altered.

Usually chakra databanks tell the truth. So it’s really fascinating to find which actor succeeds that deeply.

Even the best actors don’t always do this. I have an annual custom of comparing auras of top-nominated actors with their auras in roles. It’s a way to investigate the depth of acting.

Okay, it’s also just plain fascinating.

This blog post will tell you more about my method of using energetic literacy for aura reading film criticism. To learn more about the sequence of research I’ll use this year on some of the most interesting Academy Award nominees, see this Aura Reading Film Critique blog post.

Blog-Buddies, read along with me, using the photos supplied here — the same ones I used as a basis for aura reading research. Or, if you simply saw the movie — which was way more jarring than I had expected from reviews read in advance — comment away, please.
