Living with Roomates as a Skilled Empath. A Guest Post from BEVERLY

For this skilled empath, a stronger sense of self while with others

Empath skills, real skills developed expressly for empaths, make such a difference. Today’s guest post serves as a reminder of how practical these skills can be. If you’re an empath, and you’ve ever had roommates, you’ll want to read this guest post by BEVERLY.

Here’s BEVERLY’s story of her new shared space, and how Empath Empowerment® helps her to share it better.

In Enlightenment… The Amusement Park

Rose Rosetree, “Coming Home” from the Orlando airport.

For my little family (husband Mitch, son Matt, and me) amusement parks have often been an official source of amusement. In 2011 we headed to Universal Orlando in search of the newish “Wizarding World of Harry Potter,” with a re-creation of the castle at Hogwarts.

Such fun! Towards the end of last year I heard about an addition to the park, complete with a magical trainride to Diagon Alley and a fire-breathing dragon that belches out fire regularly at 10-minute intervals.

All it took was one mention of my interest to Mitch and he planned a trip. I’m starting this blog post at the Orlando airport, waiting to return to Virginia and suffused with the special satisfaction of a short vacation beautifully planned, joyfully executed, and even punctuated by briskly-falling rain (just as we were leaving).

More about this trip was different for me than the new attractions: Having crossed the threshold into Enlightenment. Several points of comparison have occurred to me, and I thought you Blog-Buddies might find it interesting to read a bit about that… as “Enlightenment at the Amusement Park” has hardly been celebrated in traditional writings about consciousness.

How We Empaths Can Become More Empathic. (Surprisingly, Most of Us Aren't.)

Empaths don't necessarily act empathic. But we could. (And it's good for us.)

Empaths don’t necessarily act empathic. But we could. (And it’s good for us.)

Shocking but true: Most empaths are NOT as empathic as they think they are.

What Does It Mean, Being an Empath?

Being an empath is not a behavior. It is not something that a person can choose. Or that anyone can develop. (Unlike empathy, which we’ll get to separately.)

Every empath is a Highly, Highly Sensitive Person; and 1 in 20 of the people on this sweet earth have been born as an empath.

Blog-Buddies, you probably know that this empath coach has identified 15 different talents that an empath might have. You might have several or just one. Either way, being wired with even one talent as an empath means that you qualify.

But did you know how “Empath” is different from “Empathy”? Many of us are pretty fuzzy about the details.

Don’t Reduce Empath Empowerment® to One Quick Sentence

Racing to gain empath skills? You can do better.

Racing to gain empath skills? You can do better.

So many of us empaths are in a hurry to get skills.

  • Some folks feel desperate.
  • Some expect instant answers.
  • Some believe that the truth ought to be simple. And, therefore, we have the right to take something too new or complex and turn it into something “better.”

I’m here to caution you. Please take your empath skills more seriously than that. Show more respect for yourself.

Intellectual Empath Ability, So Much More Enjoyable with SKILL. A Guest Post by ISABELLE

Skilled Empath Merge can enliven the empath gift discussed in our guest post for today

Skilled Empath Merge can enliven the empath gift discussed in our guest post for today

If you’re an empath and you’re reading this blog, what do you know by now?

I offer skills of Empath Empowerment®. The first step is to learn about the gifts that you have. The second step is to learn how to develop the effortless habit of keeping your empath gifts turned OFF. While the optional third step is learning techniques for doing Skilled Empath Merge.

Sadly, many empaths — and even empath coaching “experts” — don’t yet have that first part right. So they define an empath as “Somebody who feels everyone else’s feelings.”

So inaccurate. The empath gift described with those words is Emotional Oneness, and it’s just 1 — ONE — of 15 different empath gifts that you can learn about with “The Empowered Empath: Owning, Embracing and Managing Your Special Gifts.”

Some empaths have only this one empath gift. No mushy gushy emotional anything!

Are they still empaths? Of course.

Happy Empaths from Your Generation

Happy Empaths

Sure, there are happy empaths from your generation. Learn more about them.

Happy empaths from your generation: Well adjusted! Even joyful. And mega-successful. Let’s start a little series to help you celebrate some happy empaths.

Because every generation has them: Some Chris Rocks.

Just kidding. Every generation has Highly Sensitive Persons. And also there are Highly, Highly Sensitive Persons, born empaths.

And in every generation, some of those empaths learn a version of empath skills. No, not everybody has to learn the system of Empath Empowerment to learn how to routinely keep your emapth gifts turned OFF. 😉

Skilled Empath Merge with Soccer Star Carli Lloyd

The strength of an emphant, only human, so let's read the aura of Carli Lloyd

The strength of an emphant, only human, so let’s do a Skilled Empath Merge with  Carli Lloyd

How does it feel to be at the top of your game? Especially when your game is winning the Women’s World Cup!

America hasn’t won since 1991. Then, on July 5, in Vancouver, Carli Lloyd scored three goals in the first 16 minutes of the game.

By 2012, she had already won Olympic gold and won a hat trick. Yesterday she scored another hat trick, the first in Women’s World Cup history. By the end of the game, America had won the title, 5-2.

  • Today a Skilled Empath Merge will report on my experience, moving in consciousness into the soccer star’s aura. Safely I’ll fly in spirit, using a photo taken yesterday, during final game of the Women’s World Cup. Then I’ll describe what I experienced, speaking the language of energetic literacy.

How to Protect Yourself Energetically from Somebody Difficult, Part 1

Puzzled over how to protect yourself energetically, aurically, vibrationally?

Puzzled over how to protect yourself energetically, aurically, vibrationally?

Potheads and alcoholics aren’t the only difficult people to live with. Recently we have been having a lively discussion at Answering your latest questions about marijuana, and today we can broaden the inquiry.

  • In his Comment #23, Blog-Buddy DAVID FB asked about the tendency to take on extra STUFF if you’re in an intimate relationship with someone addicted.
  • While ISABELLE is the one who originally started that conversation (and blog post) with her questions about special problems for empaths when dealing with a pothead.

Such questions strike me as extra important these days.  Long before the Shift into this Age of Energy, there have been alcoholics and others trapped into substance abuse of various kinds. Why do new fears emerge now, almost as if fearing contimination by somebody else’s chemical addiction?

Ooh, about that new photo of Rose Rosetree

Today a sweet email came from my friend “JOE”. Tucked inside several paragraphs was this:

“I also wanted to mention about your new picture. I saw the change but wasn’t sure what to say. I like the smile but there seems to be a lot of fatigue in it, to me. That may be off-base but it surprised me you’d put a picture of yourself up that wasn’t your usual vibrant self, even if it was a lovely scarf.   ;-)”

That courage, and tact, from my friend make me love him more than ever.

I’m glad JOE spoke up. It occurred to me that some of you Blog-Buddies may have had a similar reaction. Two others of you commented, on blog or off, since I recently changed out the old photo that was here, a photograph taken so loooooooooong ago, in 2013.

What do you think when you compare that small blog-sized version with….

When Empath Empowerment feels like a gift.

When Empath Empowerment feels like a gift.

Hi everyone. My name’s Jem and I’m a recovering spirit-holic 😉

I’d just like to comment what amazing, fabulous, intricate times we live in.

Especially challenging times for an empath

Like many of you guys reading this blog, I was born an empath. Plus I had additional psychic dials, to the tune of multiple clairs, turned right up.

Unskilled as I was, you can imagine my “reality” *Pause to vomit heartily here.*

At 17, I turned to the New Age world for help. Those teachers for empaths, like us, were naturals. But ultimately unskilled.

Those teachers did their best, fumbling along in the dark like we all were; but in hindsight it was the blind leading the blind.

They gave me “tools” — here I use that word loosely — that severely exacerbated my ridiculous condition.
