Deeper Perception Made Practical

Your Good Weight Point. How to Find It

Your Good Weight Point is probably not in line with society’s shoulds. To what extent are you pushing yourself to fulfill a false goal? How strong is that pressure for you? Today’s post can help you to overcome it.

About Your Good Weight Point — Did you even know that you have one at this time in your life? Sure do! Read how yours might help you with creativity. Power. Handling personal criticism. Even physical health.

Overcome social pressures that let others choose your ideal weight. I’ll bring you a sample of an alternative, an empowering alternative. Before reading this research, you might want to grab a hankie.

Also, yes, today’s blogpost will include a Newsletter Announcement. Close to the end. You’ll see. Now…

What IS Your Good Weight Point?

Likely you’ve never heard that expression before. So what does it mean?

Your Good Weight Point means the weight which is ideal for you in mind-body-spirit. Not merely the weight that will allow you to squeeze into a Size 2 pair of jeans. Rather, this weight is just slender enough. Imagine a weight that’s ideal for your optimal emotional growth and spiritual evolution. Yeah, also great for your health.

A lower weight might make you feel more attractive. But at a cost. As you’ll be reading in today’s article.

And yes, in case you’re wondering, the term “Good Weight Point” makes its debut here. At the Energy Spirituality® Blog. How do I know? While first-drafting this article, I googled “Your Good Weight Point“. Zero hits. So far.

Fine!

Might I suggest? Be a leader and keep reading.

And, as always, feel free to COMMENT below. Asking your questions. Share your personal reactions to what you read here. Write anonymously if you like. Simply choose a first name and tell me in the first sentence of your comment… What would you like me to call you here?

Overcome that Horrible Pressure. You Can

As I discovered recently, yes! There’s a simple way to dermine your Your Good Weight Point. Soul Thrill® Aura Research is the name of this method to bring you perspective. Empowering you because this Energy Spirituality® specialty reveals the true reaction of your soul. The reaction to any choice you might make. This reaction shows in those parts of your aura known as “chakra databanks.”

At this YouTube video, you can see a demonstration where I facilitate Soul Thrill® Aura Research about different food choices. Note the nuance and the detail.

Only Recently Did I Begin to Apply this Skill to Goal Weight

Thanks to “Veronica,” an anonymous volunteer, I’m going to research two different versions of personal weight goal. Below you’ll find the contrasting results.

What will you discover? Exactly the kind of result I’ve found previously with researching  Your Good Weight Point. Many of us health-and-attractiveness seekers are aiming unrealistically low.

To be clear, I’m displaying the results as a comparison aura reading. In reality, I completed the full set of research chakra databanks for Choice A. After finishing that, then I researched Veronica’s Choice B. Here, for readability, I cut-and-pasted my findings in pairs per chakra databank. Thus you can compare and contrast.

  1. Originally, Veronica’s ideal choice was to aim for a weight of 128 pounds.
  2. For our second round or research she chose a different goal weight: 138 pounds.

Note: As is standard for Soul Thrill Aura Research, I first did baseline research. (Not presented here.) Then I did the research that follows.

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #1

High Heart Chakra Databank for Soul Thrill

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

1/8 inch.

QUALITY

Constant inner pressure, feeling weak-willed, feeling bad about myself.

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

40 feet.

QUALITY

Feeling free to be myself. Able to have my own life. And to explore my career without holding back. Also, to fully enjoy my relationships. In general, to live a juicy, self-actualizing life… on my own terms.

ROSE COMMENTS

Evidently your soul’s version of “my terms” does not include what? Does not include a fantasy goal weight that society proclaims as “beautiful” or “handsome.”

Fact is, not everything about ourselves can be adjusted to please others. Even if we’ve been told from an early age… that women should be able to make our bodies as tiny as need be for us to win approval from men. Or, for men, whatever the equivalent version of this awful striving would be for you.

Guys, by all means, COMMENT below about your experience. Have you felt pressure to flaunt a sixpack, etc.? Have social standards been making you feel like damaged goods?

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #2

Root Chakra Databank for Presence in the Room

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

3 inches. (Quite close to shutdown.)

QUALITY

Energetically and subconsciously: Even when hungry, I won’t let myself feel hungry. I must do whatever it takes… so that I can look thin enough.

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

97 feet.

QUALITY

I am willing to take up all the space I need in this world. I am willing to let my intelligence and power show, rather than hiding behind stereotypes for women in my generation.

ROSE COMMENTS

Here’s an idea: My body is my body. It has its own life. I can’t just do what I want to my body. Like make it into what I want it to be.

Unfortuntely, haven’t many of us have been taught — then believed — unrealistic ideas on this topic? In reality, over-dieting amounts to downsizing our bodies, for heaven’s sake!

Like, “I need to be the “right” weight. Otherwise, how can I ever be respected? How can I possibly have a powerful presence?”

Fortunately, we can change our minds about this. Snap out of illusions like the one at this link just provided.

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #3

Root Chakra Databank for Physical Health

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

1/8 inch.

QUALITY

  • Whether I know it or not, consciously.
  • Whether I accept it or not, subconsciously.
  • I am tooooo thin at this weight. And maintaining this un-helpful weight can weaken all the existing vulnerabilities in my mind-body-spirit system.

Over time, dieting can also set in motion NEW vulnerabilities to hurt my mind-body-spirit system.

ROSE COMMENTS

Wow! Well, if we think about self-starvation rationally, doesn’t this last bit of research make sense? Although mainstream programming tells women, “Of course, you can become thin if only you care enough.”

And what else? “There cannot possibly be any negative consequences to dieting. Starving yourself makes you beautiful AND healthy.”

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

9,000 feet.

QUALITY

I can live my full span of years. I can be healthy.

My health becomes more normal when I accept the size my body needs to be… in order to function properly.

VERONICA COMMENTS

Rose, thank you for doing this research and sharing it on your blog. Hearing this, the impact is wonderfully compassionate. I think there are people in pain over this.

ROSE COMMENTS

As if society has imposed a specific task upon you: the task of making your body conform to the Anorexic Ideal. Supposedly, “Every additional 10 pounds means you are becoming worse and worse as a person.”

Being an idealist may not serve women very well… until we stop believing, deep down, what society tells us about what our weight ought to be.

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #4

Belly Chakra Databank for Using My Creativity

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

1/8 inch.

QUALITY

I used to enjoy using my creativity. But now, doing anything I don’t absolutely have to do? Makes me feel tired and I want to lie down.

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

5,000 ft.

QUALITY

I am setting myself free to dream. To be myself. Instead of feeling perpetually guilty and weak-willed and unattractive…

At this size I spontaneously start to think differently, in a more expansive way. So that then I can follow through more fully on my creativity. Following through as a woman who is no longer self-conscious. Wouldn’t it be liberating to stop having to… push down feelings of shame whenever other people look at me.

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #5

Solar Plexus Chakra Databank for Using My Power

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

1/8 inch.

QUALITY

It takes all of my power to stay slim. Nothing else matters nearly as much, not career, not relationships, not anything.

ROSE COMMENTS

Considering how many American women are dieting way too hard… Is it any surprise that so many of us are “proudly apolitical”?

Maybe not enough bandwidth is available. Maybe we can’t sustain helping anyone else. Not until “I’m thin enough.”

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

5,000 feet.

QUALITY

Being in a female body does not really have to mean that I am inwardly all that different from men.

ROSE COMMENTS

What a thrill to find this  from our research today. VERONICA, biologically most of a woman’s genetic material is not that different from that of men.

According to the article just cited, genetically, women and men are 98.4% the same.

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #6

Heart Chakra Databank for Emotional Stability

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

1/8 inch.

QUALITY

What’s wrong with me? My moods are going up and down. Why?

All the time, I’m trying so hard to lose weight and I feel like a failure.

Why do I have to feel bad about my emotions, too?

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

39 feet

QUALITY

A great deal of ongoing struggle has gone. Instead I begin to remember my inner calmness and unconditional self-regard. As a baby and a toddler I had this. To a surprising extent, for much of my life, pressure has been building to fix my weight as a condition for respecting myself. My weight has become a requirement for other people to like me.

But knowing my Good Weight Point can change that. Simply researching this goal weight makes it easier for me to remember who I am, who I have come into this lifetime to be.

VERONICA COMMENTS

It’s shocking how much of my human capacity in this lifetime has been defined by my weight.

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #7 – Left Elbow…

Chakra Databank for Handling Personal Criticism

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

8 inches. (Nonetheless, way under-functioning.)

QUALITY

I deserve personal criticism. Every time I look in the mirror I see somebody who doesn’t have enough self-respect and discipline to make herself the right size.

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

5,000 feet.

QUALITY

I have so much compassion for myself. It’s like a river of compassion, that didn’t seem to be there before.

ROSE COMMENTS

So much criticism comes our way, as women in America now. I mean, criticism based on the size of our bodies. If we don’t look like skinny models, etc., we’re viewed as if there’s something wrong with us.

Maybe having a sense of one’s Good Weight Point can innoculate us. Strengthen our resistance to that mainstream form of criticism.

VERONICA COMMENTS

I think that accepting this Good Weight Point can make it a lot easier to handle criticism. Especially when somebody I respect is hurting me.

It could become easier for me to grow from some criticism too, if the criticism is valid.

Your Choice of Goal Weight, Not Society’s. #8

Third Eye Chakra Databank for Spiritual Growth

Veronica’s Initial Ideal Choice for Her Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

1/8 inch.

QUALITY

If God really loved me, God wouldn’t doom me to be fat.

I guess I should admit to myself how bad my relationship with God really is, if I were only honest about it.

Veronica’s More Realistic Choice for Goal Weight

SYMBOLIC SIZE

49 feet.

QUALITY

Integration of spiritual growth is the big difference here. As always, I continue to grow spiritually and integrate spiritually.

Only the impact of that research item, the goal weight of 138 pounds, is a big deal. This goal helps me to grow spiritually within MY lifetime. To grow as myself.

Not like a generic kind of spiritual growth for somebody who is kind of me. Except that this version of me lives as if she has been cursed… by having something wrong with her body. Something that she should be able to fix… only she hasn’t managed to fix it yet.

ROSE COMMENTS

Big thanks to courageous VERONICA to allow me to publish the results of this research.

It couldn’t be more personal. I also think, it couldn’t be more important.

In Conclusion

Look, Blog-Buddies. Your weight is your business, nobody else’s. Deciding for yourself is your right.

Seems to me, it’s one thing to avoid breaking the law. What’s something else entirely? Force yourself to succeed at a game you don’t have to play. Despite all the pressure now to do just that:

I Hope You’re Inspired to COMMENT Below

Just in case you could use a bit more encouragement, feel free to ask about questions like these:

  1. Do you think that today’s huge social emphasis on Dieting Virtue, Low Fat Product Virtue, etc. would show up on any Google searches? Any search terms that you’re curious about my researching here, with hits that might ick you out…
  2. Do you think that today’s huge social emphasis on Dieting, Low Fat products, etc. could hurt unskilled empaths?
  3. Have you felt pressure to eat vegetarian? Supposedly because you’ll lose weight as a vegetarian.
  4. How about pressure to follow the extreme vegan diet, living plant based, as if your highest ideal should be to eat like a horse. Because vegans are thinner than those who aren’t.
According to PETA,  “It’s possible to be an overweight or obese vegan, of course, just as it’s possible to be a thin meat-eater, but adult vegans are, on average, 10 to 20 pounds lighter than adult meat-eaters.”
  5. Maybe take a look at our blogpost on a wannabe famous actress, Brittany Murphy. She sure kept her weight down.

Thanks for reading, everybody. And thanks again to Veronica for her help with today’s blogpost.

Just as we humans don’t automatically take on our physical temperature from where we are, we can think independently, make our own choices, and grow rapidly emotionally and spiritually. Among other factors, to grow fast, we can mobilize our free will.

Snakes don’t have that. But we humans sure have free will… should we choose to use it.

  2. 402
    Theodore says:

Rose, I love this way of thinking about our human bodies.

I hadn’t considered that before, but you are right – we have so many attributes, across *all* levels of our construction, that can support our choices to live how and where we choose. We are the preeminent free will species on this planet.

  3. 403

Bravo, THEODORE! Thanks for mentioning that.

We ARE the preeminent free will species on this planet.

  4. 404
    Theodore says:

On a note related to this blog post topic, I recently was fortunate to learn my Good Weight Point in my last session with you, Rose – thank you for that!

  5. 405
    Theodore says:

One of the things I found particularly helpful about it?

The pressure it took off me, as a man, to be bulky and massively muscular.

  6. 406
    Theodore says:

Right now I am pretty lean in a way that happens to be the correct weight for me, for the forseeable future.

Now, I can stop indulging collective consciousness pressures about one day getting “ripped” and getting the currently in-fashion body.

  7. 407

Out of compassion for ourselves — and respect — I do recommend that each of us acknowledges that influence.

Collective Consciousness Subconsciously Grabs Us. We need not go with that pull, but it’s only respectful to ourselves to acknowledge the kind of social pressure you just mentioned, THEODORE.

  8. 408
    Theodore says:

As it happens, I have long been fully aware that the current fashion of large muscles is almost totally dependent on steroid abuse (as a reference, we can look at photos of bodybuilders and manual laborers in the pre-steroid-abuse era, which ended around the 30s).

  9. 409
    Theodore says:

Yet that knowledge did not fully prevent me from feeling that I should *still* pursue big muscles, somehow, even if I had absolutely no intention to do steroids.

  10. 410
    Theodore says:

Now I *know*. There is no need for me to get any bigger than I am.

I am the right size, right now. It still feels a bit strange, this idea, but it is ultimately a big relief.

  11. 411

Wonderful and important, this share. Thank you, THEODORE.

It does seem to me, knowledge with higher truth value than we’ve had so far… does have a way of setting us free.

    Charlotte says:

Ahh, I did not realize the emotional weight I have been carrying about my weight until this session. [About finding my Good Weight Point]

That in itself has been sooo freeing, to finally let go and allow myself room to be myself and problem solve with the rest of my life.

  13. 413
    Charlotte says:

There were many other personal things that came up during my session, which I was not consciously aware of, nonetheless affecting me though.

After following your suggestion, I already feel so empowered, more free to be myself.

  14. 414
    Charlotte says:

I highly highly recommend anyone who is considering this type of session to have one sooner rather than later.

  15. 415
    Charlotte says:

In my mind, I thought I needed to loose 40 maybe 50 lbs in order to be my ideal weight.

It turns out what works best for me personally, I’d only need to loose about 20 lbs.

  16. 416

CHARLOTTE, I’m so delighted to be publishing this series of comments from you. I’m going to leap in here to repeat something you wrote in the previous comment. It’s a big deal, I think:

  17. 417

In my mind, I thought I needed to loose 40 maybe 50 lbs in order to be my ideal weight.

It turns out what works best for me personally, I’d only need to loose about 20 lbs.

  18. 418

Usually, when I facilitate this kind of a session, my client has some weight to lose. It might be more or less than that particular client has been worrying about.

  19. 419

I’ve also had a session where my client’s Good Weight Point was about 10 pounds higher than her current weight.

Gladys, I’ll call her. Gladys has some significant improvements in her life when she quit starving herself.

  20. 420

This Energy Spirituality Research Centerpiece is nuanced and expressly designed to help each client. It’s much like Soul Thrill® Aura Research and other skills that go directly into a client’s chakra databanks, with plenty of subconscious and energetic information related to that person’s desirable weight, at that particular time in that client’s life.

  21. 421
    Charlotte says:

Having a more holistic and specific goal to lose weight is so helpful. I can take specific steps to reach my goal.

Along the way, if I need to have personal sessions regarding what type of nutritional program would work best for me, I can have that kind of research session too.

  22. 422
    Charlotte says:

I love that I don’t need to “guess” what my weight needs to be, which would be highly influenced by media and society, not what my soul wants, not honoring my subconscious desires that are perfectly reasonable.

  23. 423
    Charlotte says:

The process of finding Good Weight Point is highly individual. And I love that.

I love that MY Good Weight Point is where I can be MY best, not just physically but mentally and emotionally as well.

  24. 424
    Charlotte says:

I had a fun realization when I was going through my old notes.

Found a big poster I made last year. I hung it on my wall all the rest of 2024.

  25. 425
    Charlotte says:

One of my goals was to reach a certain weight by end of the year.

Finding that poster, which I hadn’t looked at since 2024, what happened? I was delightfully surprised that my goal weight in that year was the same number as was discovered to be my Good Weight Point in my session with Rose.

  26. 426
    Charlotte says:

Numbers are the same, but how I experience and approach both goals? Completely different.

  27. 427
    Charlotte says:

With my goal from last year, my main focus was to finally lose the weight, and become thinner and also physically stronger.

  28. 428
    Charlotte says:

After my session with you, Rose, and discovering my Good Weight Point, and following your suggestions, my focus now is reaching to a weight that will support me to be myself, using my full potential in life.

  29. 429
    Charlotte says:

Physical health and strength, greater emotional awareness and creativity, improved intellectual capacity and enjoying life more.

  30. 430
    Charlotte says:

All that, to me, means so much more than merely looking “thinner” just for the sake of it, just to fit some made up standard.

  31. 431
    Charlotte says:

My Good Weight Point is empowering me to experience life with strength and joy and to use my power.

  32. 432

Brilliant point, CHARLOTTE. Learning your Good Weight Point isn’t just about the size of your body.

It does count as a form of empowerment, so you know you are more than your weight. And you’re more than judgments from people (and Collective Consciousness) about being “heavy,” etc.

  33. 433

Freeing yourself from that burden, in a responsible way, does free you up to live with more strength and joy and, increasingly, to use your power.

    Thanks, CHARLOTTE.

  34. 434
    Alison says:

Thank you for teaching about Good Weight Point, Rose.

Being at mine brought more serenity and effectiveness. It’s such a difference.

  35. 435

ALISON, you’re welcome. If I had a nickel for every time I used to worry about my weight, I could buy myself something really BIG.

Seriously, I have found the same kind of relief . . . due to knowledge of my Good Weight Point and, by now, living with that exact same weight.

  36. 436
    Noah says:

    Such a powerful article, Rose.

  37. 437

I recently had a session to find my Good Weight Point.

It’s important to me to be effective and have enough energy for all my responsibilities and that includes my physical health.

  40. 440
    Adrian Gould says:

I started the session convinced that my current weight would research well.

I mean it is well within the BMI (Body Mass Index).

  41. 441
    Adrian Gould says:

But I realize there’s quite a range within the BMI, because when we researched just a few more pounds it was soooooooo much better.

  42. 442
    Adrian Gould says:

I didn’t think I could feel more joy or fun in some of my Chakra Databanks, and yet it is possible with more weight.

    Wow!

  43. 443

Well noted, ADRIAN GOULD. Thank you so much for sharing your experience with the Energy Spirituality® specialty to help you Find Your Good Weight Point.

Sure beats being a guinea pig in your own experiment!

  48. 448

  49. 449
    Iris says:

Within a few short weeks of that session, I was at my Good Weight Point and without struggle.

I very much appreciate this, Rose.

  50. 450

Thank you, IRIS. I’ve witnessed so many success stories from those who have learned about their Good Weight Point and followed up as recommended.

Only these were confidential sessions of Energy Spirituality®, so I couldn’t bring them up, not even at our blog. I wish more of you would remember to hop onto this blogpost and share your experiences.

  51. 451

    IRIS, your example inspires me.

Commenting at this Energy Spirituality® can be a powerful way to give back, and a powerful way to spread the word about our unique specialties. Some are trademarked, like Soul Thrill® Aura Research, but most – like Finding Your Good Weight Point – are not.

  52. 452

Folks don’t even know which search terms to use to find them, because (far as most people know) these specialties don’t exist.

I appreciate greatly when you tell friends and the folks you know on social media, tell them about the results you’ve received from these little known specialties with big, positive impact.

My story is that I used to worry so much about my weight.

In session I learned that the weight I aimed for was too thin.

Now I feel good. I look good.

Worrying about my weight is no longer my hobby. Thank you Energy Spirituality® and Rose.

GLORIA, what a beautiful reminder of the usefulness of learning your Good Weight Point!

    Thank you.
