Whoa! Rinaldo Plays for a Saudi Club?

Let’s pause here for a political interlude. Since I know that some of you Wisdom Seekers are politically aware, even politically active (like me). You may know that Saudi Arabia is among the richest countries in the Arab world. Did you also know these two facts?

#1. Saudi Arabia Doesn’t Yet Have Nuclear Weapons But…

The Saudis are legally obligated to refrain from developing or acquiring nuclear weapons. However, in a March 2018 interview with CBS, the Saudi Crown Prince said that “Saudi Arabia does not want to acquire any nuclear bomb, but without a doubt, if Iran developed a nuclear bomb, we will follow suit as soon as possible.”

#2. Trump Just Signed a Nuclear Deal with Saudi Arabia

This agreement reached by the Trump administration, less than a month ago, is a shocker. It deviates from the established norms of American nonproliferation policy in ways that significantly undermine decades of previous work.

Of course, the Portuguese soccer star has the right to play for any team that will pay him. Arguably the top soccer (football) player in the world, Cristiano will bring great prestige to Saudi Arabia. A nation that, in 2018, murdered Jamal Khashoggi, a US-based journalist and critic of Saudi Arabia’s government. Jamal simply walked into the Saudi consulate in Istanbul, where he was murdered.

Does this sit well with you, Wisdom Seekers? 

Look, I know that Cristiano is not an American, like Khashoggi, but is he okay with bringing great prestige to Saudi Arabia?

As you know if you ever watched any kind of animal doing it. Animals really enjoy having sex. Otherwise, animals have plenty of other activities for spending their time.

However, unlike other kinds of animal, any time we wish, we humans can entertain ourselves with sexual thoughts or activities. At the time of this photo, Mr. Ronaldo is simply playing soccer. That’s plenty.

He’s handsome and strong, very fit. And you’ve heard tell that he is amazingly successful. As for his manners, they’re excellent.

Wisdom Seeker, what kind of inner life would you imagine him having?

Although I haven’t personally watched Cristiano play soccer, I gather he’s fascinating to watch. Soooo talented!

Watching Cristiano play, did any of you suspect that he must be using his full potential in life? That is, in this article, you might have expected me to I point out that he is living in Spiritual Enlightenment? 

Recently, I researched Cathy Moore for you. Nowhere near as famous. Or rich. She’s merely an excellent leader in the emerging field of Industrial Design.

Does it seem fair to you that a “nobody” like her gets to be in Enlightenment, while Cristiano doesn’t?
