Do some people wear a Keep Out sign that keeps God from helping them? Or might some people, knowingly or not, wear a Keep Out Sign that forbids them from feeling connected to God?
Either way, what you learn here can help.
Of course, nobody has to believe in God. Nobody must pursue spiritual growth. I’m writing this article for the benefit of folks who might like to have direct experience of God, yet they’ve given up. For now.

Astral garbage, you could call it. Different kinds of energy can (and do) get stuck in a human being’s aura. Most Spiritual Seekers have no idea that energetic STUFF in their auras is a thing, or that it causes limitations that seem fixed for life. Seem to be, but aren’t.
Including the problems expressed below by Danny, Megan, James, Zachary, Katherine, Aidan, and Kaylee.
The field of Energy Spirituality® includes many specialties that solve problems like the ones you’ll read about here. In this article I will note in passing that all our skills for energy healing are co-created with Divine help, then used systematically, rigorously.
Here come our seven examples of skills that work now. You’ll only be reading an introduction, of course. Still, this article can help you to feel more hopeful about experiencing God directly.
Don’t expect anything dramatic or flashy, in the style of televangelist performers. Direct experience of God can be easy and natural; maybe gentle or soothing or bringing you a quiet kind of joy. Your experiences of the Divine may change, too, over time. Innocence about this relationship can serve you well.
#1. Energetic STUFF in Your Aura that Can Limit Your Experience of God.
A Need for Soul Retrieval and Validation
Danny says, “How can I ever feel the presence of God? As a person, I feel invisible most of the time. How can God ever be able to find me?”
Although there are many reasons to not feel visible or important as a person, guess what? The single most important cause, in terms of subconscious STUFF, is using only a small fraction of your personal Soul Expression.
Your personal Soul Expression is magnificent. Having all of this available will bring clearer thinking, more clarity about relationships, faster emotional growth, and faster spiritual evolution. And a clearer experience of the Divine.

#2. Energetic STUFF in Your Aura that Can Limit Your Experience of God
Astral Cooties (from Marijuana)
Megan says, I get spaced out a lot, like I’m high on weed. Only I’m not into grass anymore. My problem is, sometimes I can barely notice where my feet are going. How can I find God when I’m such a mess.”
Hearing this, psychologist Gladys might start opening up her diagnostic manual with great excitement. Sure, a mental health professional might find plenty of psychiatric diagnoses for Megan. However, my experience with Energy Spirituality is quite different.
The problem could be as simple as what I call “astral cooties.” If there really is a psychiatric problem, this Healing Centerpiece won’t hurt a thing. And it just might make a noticeable difference–a long-term difference–in just one session.
How Does a Person Get Astral Cooties?
By smoking weed, or similar. Also, secondhand smoke from pot can cause the same problem.
It’s not hard to get astral cooties in your aura. Like walking past potheads on the street, where secondhand smoke can zap you.
Please protect yourself in the future by carrying a Covid mask at all times, and maybe a scarf as well. If you rent an apartment, insist on having a clause in the lease to protect you from secondhand smoke from grass. Some buildings may even protect you by engineering a ventilation system in your building that prevents your breathing in marijuana fumes from neighbors.

But sometimes I have these creepy emotions and thoughts that have nothing to do with where I am and what I’m doing. Like I’m scared for no reason. If I can’t manage to be here now, half the time, how can I ever experience God?

An outgrown Causational Agreement is one of those everyday problems which doesn’t have to be.

Spiritually Relevant Cords of Attachment
Aidan says, I went to Catholic school until high school. Some of those nuns were a nightmare. I suppose all these nuns meant well but they were a nightmare. To be honest, I’ve kind of given up on God. Do you blame me?”
Don’t give up on God, Aidan or anyone. Remember this saying? “Heaven helps those who help themselves.”
Cutting cords of attachment (with effective skills) is one way to move out subconscious influences that — otherwise — can feel like a recurring bad dream.
Probably you’ve heard of cutting cords of attachment. Sadly, most of what you’ve encountered… doesn’t work. I don’t make this statement lightly. I aim to protect you.
To see what I mean, regarding well-meant approaches that fail the self-healer, read this: Our “Cut Cords of Attachment DISCERNMENT JAMBOREE.” Sample the many hundreds of comments there, too.
One method stands out from the rest, stand out from the mess: Do you know much about the method called 12 Steps to Cut Cords of Attachment®? For decades, I taught folks to use this method, through self-help books that I published. Also through workshops.
