Consider this name my way of thanking Sarah McCammon. Author of “The Exvangelicals.”
I hold it high, her brilliant book that chronicles how she became an EXvangelical. And what happened afterward, both to her and to many other EXvangelicals. The common denominator is simple. EXvangelicals have:
- Questioned their beliefs.
- Ultimately broke from their faith communities.
- Negotiated uneasy truces with family members. Or were cut off completely by their supposedly loving family members.
This is a huge topic about spiritual courage. Regarding the purpose of this array of chakra datatabanks, it aims to reveal the inner consequences of religious beliefs. Or of changing those beliefs. Abandoning them, upon that individual’s personal altar of truth.
EXvangelical Chakra Databanks – Potential Insights for All
Insightful about Evangelicals. And Also for Everybody Else Leaving a Cult
For historical context, during the Age of Faith, when world religions were formed, what mattered most?
- Being counted among the faithful — regardless of which religion prevaled.
- Enjoying a grand feeling of community. Spiritual belonging.

Within the fine fabrics of this chakra databank, here’s a bit more insight. For many years Mr. Hitchens struggled inside himself. He worried that he might be evil, or that others might consider him evil. But he’s over that “nonsense” by now.

For many in Age of Awakening Enlightenment it is an everyday experience, this apparent paradox of God being both Companionable and Mighty (and even Almighty).
Sometimes it takes a while living in this consciousness lifestyle before we consciously allow ourselves to have such unusual thoughts . . . which have already become our subtle, direct experience.
Your research of Christopher Hitchens rings so true for me, painfully true.

Learning about the array of EXvangelical chakra databanks has been one of my personal highlights this year, and understanding that even though people may have escaped the thrall of a cult, it is still possible to carry around STUFF that limits them in life.
Also, I found this last batch of research on Christopher Hitchens timely and important.
Recently I have seen links to his talks / debates pop up on my YouTube and therefore I have been paying more attention to him than I ever have done, not really knowing who he was previously.
As a result I have noticed that there is a growing cohort of people aligned with Hitchens that find an interest in ‘intellectualising away’ the existence of God through debunking Bible stories in the name of scientific enquiry.
At the expense of having any real interest in an experience of the Divine, or what that could even mean.
Like, by taking an intellectual position on the existence of God it makes them super smart. And being someone who’s anti someone who believes in God, also super smart.
No thank you.
Therefore, I’m very grateful for this research as it helps me to develop even more discernment as a man who very much appreciates the experience of God in my life.
